My daughter went in for a dip manicure, but the technician talked her into getting the hard gel. Most of the manicure chipped off after 48 hours. When she called the shop to ask if they would fix it, they said yes, but when she arrived, they told her it would be $60 because it was it mess more than a few nails. One of the technicians even said the gel didn't last because it was applied on her bare nails. They basically admitted to doing shoddy work and still wouldn't rectify it. read more

The man who works in the back of the salon is extremely unprofessional, creepy, and rude. He made me so uncomfortable my heart was racing and all I wanted to do was leave. He rubbed my hands unnecessarily without oil or lotion while doing tasks, told me I looked 15 and I am 20 so I know I don't look like I'm 15 which suggests he was trying to find out if I was a minor or not, and asked where my boyfriend was in a way that made me feel as though I needed to come up with a boyfriend I don't have. Overall this experience was awful, I'm never going back and no one else should go to them either. And to top it off my nails look terrible, the shapes are uneven and the gel polish is uneven as well . read more

In my opinion, the best salon in the Evansville area. Stephanie there is the most kind and sweet and can speak very good English. Yes, some of the staff cannot, but they are all very kind. This used to be my favorite salon, but it has really gone down hill. You can call and make an appointment, but clearly they don't really record it because you can often wait well over an hour to get your nails done. They started renovations a clue of years ago, but they were never finished. Everything looks shabby and a little dirty. They seem to be chronically understaffed, and the owners never seem to be there anymore. It's sad to see a business nosedive. read more

My daughter went in with a friend and after calling, they were told it was $28 for acrylic and color. When she checked out, they said it would be $40. She questioned it and they said that it was because she got "long" nails. She didn't ask for long nails. This is the second time they've done this to her. I went and got my nails done and the guy who did my nails was completely too rough when filing them. He never once asked me what shape I wanted. I would give this place 1/2 a star if I could. I should have left the "salon" after looking at their pathetic selection of polish. I was trying to kill some time so I found a shade that suited me. I got a mani/pedi. The guy used only 1 tool for both treatments- a cuticle cutter. He clipped my nails and cleaned them all the the same cuticle cutter. He failed to put any top coat on my nails- hands or feet. He didn't put lotion on my hands. He PICKED at my fingernails rather than filing them. It was the worst experience.. Even if you're just trying to kill an hour or so. I was in and out if there within 40 minutes for both. Save your money and go elsewhere. I won't be back. read more

I would not waste your money here. Your nails won't be even, nor will they look good. they are not worth the time. They make them thin too so they break faster. Plus too many times have they added alcohol to the liquid you put with the powder to make the acrylic hard. Then make you pay again to have them done when they messed up. Don't go. I am a hair stylist and I know how to do nails just want mine done. I spend time doing hair. Why would I want to do my own nails. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Have never written a negative Yelp review. This is definitely a first. Walked in, signed in for a pedicure. Sat for 30 minutes and NEVER even got acknowledged with only one other person seated in the waiting area. Needless to say, I left. Would have stayed longer if I would've actually been acknowledged. I decided to give this place a try because it was the only salon open on Sunday, and I will never go back. It took over two hours, my nails were SO thick! It was ridiculous! Her exact words were "these should stay on for two months they are thick enough" because I had let my previous full set grow out due to having a busy month. It was terrible! I finally got them all off almost three months later. My new nail salon wouldn't even touch them because they would rip my natural nails right off, and it did when I got them off. I was hoping this place would be better. I decided to cheat on my current nail place and go here since its closer to my side of town. I had a pedicure. Good job. I decided to get my nails done a week later. Good job, I think I've found a new place. I get my nails done again, this time by another person. She was quick, but did a pretty good job. However, things changed as I was drying, I saw her take her shoes off and start using the drill set on her dirty feet. She buffed all around her feet, then used it on her toenails. This was same drill she used on me! Will she use it without cleaning for her next customer? Sorry, that did it for me, not going back. read more

I would not recommend cheetah nails. I went there two times, the first to get an acrylic full set, where I wanted my nails almond with a french fade. The woman i went to did not know how to do this and i had to keep referencing my picture *which helped a lot!* and then she had to ask another tech to help her. The other tech finished my nails and they looked pretty good but the shape was oval not almond and after a week the polish was chipping off the top. The second time i went in i made an appointment and came in, signed in at the desk, and took a seat. I waited for thirty minutes and no one said anything to me. The receptionist was telling the walk ins they should leave and come back because they were full. I waited another thirty minutes and then i started to get angry because no one was telling me why or how much longer i would be waiting. I ask the receptionist how long it will be and she says "a while." I was furious!! I had been waiting a whole hour after my appointment time and they were servicing walk-ins and not turning anyone down because they wanted money. She kept repeating she "couldn't do anything about it" and that she "usually doesn't deal with these things" she finally finds someone to do my nails and they do a fill and the acrylic is stuck on my fingers when they're done, my free edge was rough, i had to file them when i got home, and my gel polish was uneven and wrinkly because the guy put too thick coats on. I was not impressed and they gave me a $10 discount for the almost two hour wait. It was ridiculous and they just lost a potentially very loyal customer. I went there yesterday and my nails are already chipped. One of my fingernails barely has any polish left and I haven't done anything that would mess up my nails. She didn't even paint them how I wanted. I had gel on my nails so she had to take it off and she did that by soaking my hands in this liquid that dried my hands out so much. She left me to go to another customer who's polish had chipped and I sat there with my hands in the liquid for 15 minutes, when I didn't have much time left at all. I also got a pedicure and both my finger and toes had polish around the nail but on my pinky toes there was polish all around my nail and a lot above the nail. She cut my nails too short and uneven. Also, she didn't do anything to my cuticles so some of my fingernails look part cuticle and part polish but others are all polish with some cuticle underneath. Finally, there are different color shades because she didn't repaint over all the nail the second time so parts of my nail are a darker shade then the other part. read more
