Learning in person from Chef Jason and Chef Ben with a group of funny, eager, and caring adults has really shaped how I can give back to my family. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The class covered all the bases of what you could learn in a beginners cooking class. From potion, to fish, to veggies, to knifes skills it is a good balance. The pace was not too fast but not too slow. We would learn about a subject, watch the chef cook it and then do it ourselves. I really liked my chef instructor explained things thoroughly but not overly controlling. One of the best parts is you got to take your a recipe sheet home with everything you learned that day and the food that you made, my husband and my kids always loved that. The instructor goes over everything on screen so you can watch before you move forward with each step. I always think its going to be hard but honestly its just so fun and who cares if your cookies turn out perfect or not. Mine never do but I am always impressed with how well I actually do. I had joined her awhile back and despite having difficulties of my own, I had fun and the cookies are delicious. After the first experience I have returned on numerous other occasions and do feel I have progressed a bit with my decorating skills but all in all its about the fun. The cookies are always well themed and we enjoy eating these for several days afterward. It really doesn't matter what the end product looks like as long as you have fun creating your masterpiece. He worked with me on a menu and he delivered my vision. Even with extreme circumstances (another vendor broke our garage door 24 hours before the event) Chef Peter and his crew took it in stride. They were on time and hauled their heavy equipment in and got straight to work. He was basically cooking/grilling on one side of our building (back patio), having to run back forth to the interior kitchen and sink. He and his crew worked SO hard that night. They are very professional. Every plate was perfect, they cleared the tables and made sure everything was spotless when they left. I also hired Jacob the Bartender (he works with Chef Peter) and WOW!
