The tasting locked in Smokey Mountain as our caterer for our outdoor wedding! The tasting was full of delicious barbecue that wasn't fulfilled by overloading any of the dishes with sauce, all the meat was genuinely juicy and presented tastefully. We also had Jennifer and Smokey mountain do our water service, champagne pour, cake cutting, and bar service. All of her staff arrived on time and ready to go. They had simple yet beautiful place settings and had everything set up at the exact time they said they would. The bartenders were great! Nice, friendly, and followed any requests I had for how we wanted our bar to be ran for the event. We received numerous compliments from our guests about how good our food was. The food was served buffet style by servers in chaffing dishes that kept everything nice and warm. They cooked all the meat on site on a giant trailer sized barbecue right in the backyard! I can't wait to finish the leftovers that they gave us! They also took care of the cleanup from the dinner and were entirely self sufficient. I would love to hire them again.

Because I was so impressed by them, I started referring them to all of my clients. I worked with them again last week, and once again, they blew me away. I had Katie again but with a different serving staff, but they were all just as amazing as the first experience. This wedding was anything but typical- the catering company was not even booked until a week prior. Yet they were able to get them fully booked quickly and took on every single challenge that arose through the night with zero complaints. One of the guests at that wedding is an owner of Michelin star restaurants, and he was raving about the food and how good it was- and I think that says something! She advised to message her and we could sent another meeting. I text and emailed. I didn't receive a response via text and got an email over a week later. During that same time, my husband text the same number and received a message instantly. He inquired about an order for a Friendsgiving and Christmas but they advised they were not going to be catering for Christmas. Understandable, so he just asked for a quote for our Friendsgiving. They said they would send the quote but it was never received even after another call which they claimed it would be sent. I've worked with multiple caterers and especially like to work with local family owned ones but this one is 10/10 DO NOT recommend. I'm thankful we were able to pivot to another lovely small business in San Bernardino and would not trust working with THIS business.
