Not only did I come back, my next door neighbor has become a regular client of Dina as well. Know that when you sit in her chair you can relax, you are in talented hands. It is evident in her work and attention to detail that she takes pride and loves what she does. As far as the salon itself, all the staff are friendly and have been with the salon a long time. They charged me TWICE. Once for a deposit when I made the appt in case I was a no show, then again when I was a "no show." Doesn't make sense, make sure to check your card statements. Didn't bother to call me to ask if I was okay or on my way. Literally tried to scam me by charging me twice, even though they had my deposit in case I was a "no show". I have never been a no show to any appointment in my life, especially not an appointment I waited months for. Tried charging me over $200 for services that I did not receive. So greedy. Will never return.

I wish I had 10 more formal events to go to so that I could have Haley do my makeup. It was so light and classy - I felt super sophisticated with the hair and makeup combined. I always use heat protectant and have been blow drying my hair for 40+ years with zero breakage. I also do not use flat or curling irons. When I returned to the salon and advised her of the breakage and asked for a refund, she replied "that is not my department", no other comment, then proceeded to charge me for a hair treatment to help with damage. STAND BEHIND YOUR PRODUCTS! It will take two years for this massive damage to grow out.

The first inconvenience of the day was that I got a call around 8 AM for my 1 PM appointment that there was a scheduling error and that the stylist I was working with had a bridal party scheduled and forgot, so I would have to either reschedule or cancel. Totally get understand mistakes happen, we're only human. Unfortunately, I didn't see the voicemail until I woke up an hour later, and when I called they notified me that the 2 alternate times they mentioned I could reschedule to had been filled. The good news was that I was at least able to get an appointment scheduled, however I expressed my concerns that it would be cutting it super close to my event, and they reassured me I would be out of there on time. Alas, I got to my appointment 10 minutes early, and I wasn't seen for almost 30 minutes as they were running behind. The main reason I'm giving 4/5 stars is solely because I actually loved the haircut, regardless of everything else that happened, I got exactly what I wanted and the stylist did a great job of talking everything through before starting. The one thing that really surprised me was how much I disliked the blowout! This salon is almost known for their bouncy blowouts, so I was very surprised to see that by the time I walked to my car (5 minutes) my hair was flat! My hair holds curls/blowouts VERY well, so I'm not sure what happened, but I called the salon notifying them how disappointed I was as I had another event the following day and they let me come back the next day to touch it up (free of charge).
