If I could leave less stars I would. They were awful, I went there for a root canal and no one was helpful or reassuring about anything. I've never had any major dental work and was nervous, they repetitively ignored my concerned didn't give me proper or complete information about my treatment nor aftercare. They dismissed my pain and discomfort over and over. If you care about communication or are just more nervous about seeing dentist don't go here they don't care about how you feel or about your comfort with their work in your mouth. if there was an option to leave negative star reviews I would but 1 will do, my girlfriend has been going here for a while now and she had confirmed an appointment via the awful automated telephone service and when she was heading to her appointment the front desk claimed she never confirmed it and it was cancelled which therefore caused her to get charged a "past due" amount on her credit card and which also caused her to get a major hit on her credit score because it was a payment plan for a retainer. all in all this place is a mess and I would NEVER recommend anyone to go here it's a mess, so excited for her to leave this place and whoever works here doesn't have morals in line. Cherry on top was when she was Imperative to be seen for this app, the person At front desk didn't put her on hold and asked the boss what to do and they said to just say "the printers are down" for her retainer and she overheard these people BLATANLY LYING to get out of the appointment what a disappointment this place is. Went in for an unscheduled visit, and they solved the issue with a reasonable price. The reason for only 4 stars this time is the upsell is a bit intimidating. The first visit I was there for just a cleaning, and they recommended a cap, which I was surprised. I didn't need, so I declined. There was no pressure to purchase, but about 4-5 weeks later someone called to schedule the cap appointment. On my second visit I went in for tooth sensitivity, which they solved, but then wanted to upsell an expensive mouth guard, which I politely declined. I'll continue with my regular cleanings for now, and will gauge after each visit if it is worth having to sit through a sales presentation each time I go for a cleaning. read more

Wonderful experience today, Ron was amazing at the front desk. The young girl in X-ray was super helpful and the oral surgeon took his time with me and was so delicate with my feelings and what was best for me 10/10 would recommend. I loved them. read more

Chelmsford MONSTER Dentistry -- Never in my life had such a negative experience with dental care. And to be fair the offense wasn't inflicted by a licensed medical provider, but rather by the unfortunate "Ron" character haunting that place. He was trying to charge me 50% more than my insurance copay and insisted he was right. Well I called my insurance company beforehand and gave them the same procedure codes but ConRon was intent on inflating it. I had the same procedure last fall and CMD simply billed me for the copay. But this time RonCon insisted payment up front even before hitting the chair. I said given the dispute, kindly bill my insurance and the exact copay would be known afterwards. Nope. He refused and booted us out! In retrospect that was for the best as I'd never feel remotely comfortable stepping into that horror show again. If that doofus worked for me and treated a customer remotely as rude, hostile, and unprofessional as I'd been, he'd be out the door as they say, faster than sh*t through a goose. May well still happen when whatever stakeholder of that dental massage parlor discovers exactly how they are losing money. While I'm on the subject of "Ron".. He feels at liberty when a patient is sitting in the chair to shove a tablet in your face with an itemized list (and cost) of all procedures they've dreamed up are absolutely necessary for you to continue living. They really try to force feed you product worse that a Lowell car dealer. Sorry pal, not buying it. And oh by the way, the only people I'm comfortable with in a treatment room are those with a medical license. Not a failed used car salesman shoving a tablet of crap in my face. Yea if this is "modern dentistry" you can keep it. Not much to say about the professional staff one way or another, but that ultrasonic cleaning gizmo they use rendered the most uncomfortable cleaning I've ever had. The legacy metal cleaning tool used at all other dental practices I've visited could occasionally hit a nerve, so to speak. But that ultrasonic gizmo is beyond uncomfortable. I made this known during the procedure but the gal wielding the thing didn't seem to care. Didn't really feel "clean" afterwards compared to the legacy cleaning approach. This CMD establishment appears to be a chain or franchise with a suspect over-investment in the latest dental gadgets and gizmos, and as such is trying very hard to recoup the excessive expenditure. You can get a crown in a day for 5 times the cost of a 2 week crown. If you need that, this may be your place. If not go elsewhere as they won't do other than the rush job which even BoyBlunderRon admitted is inferior in quality compared to a conventional 2 week lab crown. read more

I needed a new dentist and chose this office after driving by and then reading the good reviews. I get incredibly anxious every time I have to change dentists. However, everyone was so nice and put me at ease. Dr. Schroff came out and greeted me, Demetric was super patient with my X-rays, Laurene gave me great care advice, and my payment options were clearly explained. I had to have a filling removed and a crown put on (same day permanent!) Dr. Schroff was super gentle, explained everything he was doing, and had my tooth looking and feeling great. I have had a dental problem for 6 months. I have a fear of dentists so much so that when I moved from NY to MA I traveled back to NY to visit my dentist and paid for a hotel. I saw Dr. Schroff and he pinpointed the problem....I needed a root canal. He scheduled the root canal with Dr. Pastore and voila.....fixed the problem. It was done in the same office and Dr. Pastore was amazing. This office is immaculate and professional. Thank you to all in this office who took my fears and anxiety into consideration. 3 Strikes and they are out. The first time I went I had Dr. Schroff, he was great, very kind and I had a quick painless cleaning. At that visit he suggested a deep cleaning/root/planing/scaling. I told him I would look into it and let him know, to which he said "ok, we will do a regular cleaning this time" I thought that was odd, but that was all that was said and I scheduled my next appointment for six months later. I show up and Dr. Schroff has been transferred to another branch and Dr. Michael Beluch was the new dentist. Very nice upon initial meeting. Does the gum pockets testing and looks at my scans and says "there's a lot of issues here" I instantly panicked. I know I needed 2 crowns but had to save up for them as the out of pocket cost is astronomical, and I told him that. He was fine with that but then went on and on about how badly I needed root planing/scaling. I told him that I had spoke to my old dentist who is a friend but doesn't take my new insurance, and she recommended that I see a periodontist to determine if that was needed and it would also be more likely to be covered by my insurance. There you have to pay the full price out of pocket. He would not stop, finally after refusing to repeat myself again he said I will give you a referral for a periodontist, I said ok and then had to sit while Ron the receptionist read me a 2 page document about how I was risking my life by not allowing them to do that procedure that day. Fine. Then I am handed off to a hygienist who literally said "so you aren't going to do the deep clean? Wow. You really need it, it's too bad, you actually have decent teeth" I was shocked, could not even reply. She proceeded to hurt the hell out of me and the whole time was saying how badly I needed the deep clean while she stuck my gums with the pick and made all kinds of comments about how much I was bleeding, etc. Really? Maybe because you are awful at your job. By far the most painful cleaning I ever had. I left there so upset, but due to having horrible dental insurance had no choice other than to go back in 6 months. Prior to going to this appointment I set up an appointment with a periodontist so that I could let Dr. Beluch know. So I go back, the assistants were very nice and then Dr. Beluch comes in. After small talk I told him that I was there for just a regular cleaning and that I had made an appointment with a periodontist to review what he recommended about the deep clean. He instantly said, "well we do the cleaning here and then refer you to a periodontist if needed". Ummmm what? I thought this was a serious need hence the referral given to me at my last appointment. He then proceeds to say "you know we have periodontists here", I told him yes, I am aware, but I prefer to see someone independent of this practice and closer to home, this location is hard to get to. I must have repeated myself 3 times then he finally began his gum exam. He finishes and says " so what are you here for today, what do you expect me to do" So I replied " I am here for the regular cleaning I booked and have been booking every six months for my entire life" He says "well its not going to do anything, I can clean them but when the foundation is crumbling it doesn't matter" I told him that I did not appreciate his aggressive approach and that I was tired of feeling like every time I came to the dentist it was an argument and that he was making me uncomfortable. I told him that I had an appointment to address his concerns about the deep cleaning and that should be enough. He would not stop. Went on and on repeating himself and I responded the same way over and over again. Finally he said "we will do the regular cleaning this time" And I asked him why they always said that? Am I not expected to have a regular cleaning? And the answer is no. They want to upsell you because it is a money grab, even if you need it. So I said ok and then he says "I look forward to hearing from your periodontist". Like hell you will, we are done here. So then I had to wait 30 minutes for the cleaning, to which he did even though I was booked with a hygienist, which tells me once again the scare tactics are to get you to pay $500 plus out of pocket for root planing/scaling instead of what you went their for. I have never in my entire life had a health care professional behave that way. IT was straight bullying and scare tactics to get me to purchase their services. I will pay out of pocket for cleanings if needed moving forward. Go at your own risk. read more

The best experience I have ever had with a Dentist! Very clean office, amazing technology and the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Dr. Schroff is very knowledgeable and kind. He spent a lot of time explaining in detail every step of my exam and treatment plan. They also offer a 0% interest plan for 24 months! When I was checking out, they gave me a free Sonicare! I actually can't wait to go back to have my work done. So happy I found my forever Dentist! You have to try them, you won't be disappointed!!!!! read more
