The girl who works the register was super kind and patient with me when I wasn't sure what I was going to order. Not sure why people are complaining about the change in food quality. Went here on a Thursday afternoon with a friend who lives locally. She ordered for us and we got a Chicken Veggie Pizza (she deleted mushrooms & peppers and added extra kebab chicken) and small fries. It was very good although it would not have fit into the Greek or Italian pizza category. It was a bland white (almost frozen pizza style) crust. Toppings were plentiful and the chicken was outstanding! The kebab chicken was so great that I would go back for the chicken in a salad or other dish where it could be the star! The fries were extremely fresh and the small order was more than adequate for 2 people. My only complaints were that the hot pepper container was very greasy and needed a wipe down and also that they only had ketchup packets, instead of bottles on the tables, so we generated a lot of packet trash. Having a bottle of ketchup available for the great fries or if I ordered a burger (they looked great!) would have been convenient. The staff was kind, professional and accommodating. This can be challenging because my friend is critical, and can be demanding, but she loves this place too. If you're in the Chelmsford/Carlisle area this is a great option. The ambiance is divey, so if you're local takeout might be your best bet because the TV is extremely loud & the booths are basic. The pizza and fries was satisfying! Kind of like deep-dished. Very simple, but still great. Ambiance was very comfortable, a good typical pizza joint. It was well cleaned. This place has really gone down hill in the past few months. Maybe new owners or new management? Everything has Suffered... the service and the quality and quantity of food. A couple of months ago, we were given someone else's order and did discover until we got home. Then, I got a Calzone (which I often do). It barely had anything inside! Just a couple of nights ago I got a steak sub. It was mostly raw green peppers and onion. There was very little steak in it. It literally made me sick. I had so much indigestion from the excessive raw peppers and onions. I also ordered extra cheese... the cheese was hardly detectable. We've been going to this place for years. I was pretty excited to try this place, given all the good reviews. I ended up ordering a pizza and roast beef sandwich. The pizza was nothing special, and was slightly burnt and quite greasy. The bigger disappointment was the roast beef. It was pretty hefty but there was no flavor whatsoever other than the sauce. Service was ok, the cashier wasn't super friendly or anything. Chelmsford Pizza totally hit the spot. I ordered a large pizza--half chicken bacon ranch and half cheese--plus a small order of wings, and everything tasted super fresh and flavorful. The chicken bacon ranch had great balance, the cheese slice was classic and comforting, and the wings were really tasty. On top of the food being great, the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely funny, which made the whole experience even better. We have dined here twice now. Both experiences were GREAT! Our first order was subs, hot roast beef, and salads. The sub was fresh and delicious (the large is huge!). The salad had a TON of chicken and a great selection of veggies on it. Now let's get onto the Hot Roast Beef, one word, AMAZING! The roast beef was rare (I like it that way) and literally melted in my mouth, the sauce and bun were great as well, the bun tasted like it was grilled on a griddle. Yum! Our second visit was for cheese pizza and French fries. The pizza was very good and according to my husband the fries were perfect. What really impressed us on this visit was the customer service. An employee was headed out on a delivery a few steps in front of my husband, waited and held the door for him on his way out. Not a huge gesture but it goes to show they value customer service. My wife and I decided to try somewhere new tonight and heard nothing but great things. Everyone we spoke to had not tried the pizza, however. We ordered a cheese pizza and it was phenomenal. It was a Greek style pizza for those that are curious. We also ordered French fries and they were the perfect amount of crispy. Tough to explain but absolutely great. Upon walking in to pickup the food, I was greeted happily by several employees and walking out with my food another employee held the door for me as he was walking out to deliver some food. We love to order from here! We just moved out there and the pizza is pretty delicious. We didn't want to have Domino's pizza and we stumbled across this pizza place. I think I I would have given 5 stars if the last order we had was better. We ordered the meat lovers pizza but it wasn't too good. We spent a good time removing all the ham that wasn't necessarily cooked to get to the good parts of the pizza. But other than that when we order from here, the food is pretty good. The french fries were hot and crispy. I give them both 5 stars. We also ordered an onion pizza and a meatlovers' pizza. The pizza is okay. Pretty greasy, but fine. After all the good things I've heard, though, I was shocked at the terrible phone service. I called them and tried to get delivery -- had to repeat my address about six (!) times (very slowly and clearly), even after I had already spelled it for them. They were not even polite during this frustrating process. I was angry enough at the rudeness that I submitted a complaint to their online form, but I never even got an acknowledgment. I'll still give two stars because the food is okay; it's possible I'd eat there again. I'll never order by phone again though; that whole experience really rubbed me the wrong way. read more
