DO NOT GO HERE. My family and I go here a lot for mainly subs and chicken tenders but 90% of the time our order is wrong. Recently we called to pickup up some food I clearly said chicken tenders with buffalo sauce on the SIDE. But yet again I get regular buffalo tenders for the 3rd time in a row. Stopped here today with a good friend who loves this place but she wasn't so sure about it since it changed owners a couple of years ago. It was very good. I got a chicken parm sub without the bread with a side of (no salt) fries & my friend got a salad with grilled chicken. Both things were fresh & delicious. Ordered delivery, was ok.... It took about an hour from the time I ordered and I was about 3 miles away. Food was lukewarm by the time we received it. The pizza was nothing special, there was not much flavor to it. Buffalo wings were well sauced and crispy. I used to love Jimmy's, but now that they are under new ownership the food and service is terrible. First, I always place an online order and it used to always be on time. This last time I went, the food was 20 minutes late. Then, when I get in the car and check the bag to make sure I had everything, I was missing my salad. When I went back inside they fixed my order, but when I got home, we noticed that there was no cheese on top of the calzone, there was barely any tomato sauce or toppings inside, which amounted to just eating mostly bread. We also ordered a fish dinner, the fish and fries tasted like they were fried in old oil, and the fish was fried so hard that it had the texture of chicken. This is really unfortunate because Jimmy's was one of my favorite places in the Chelmsford area. I hope the new ownership makes some changes soon. read more

We tried out this pizza place on our way to Maine for vacation, and it was a wonderful beginning. The employees are really nice and the place is very clean. Options for food are very good and they get a fresh delivery of seafood every day. We decided to do a large pizza with eggplant. I'm pretty certain all their pizzas are made to order. Everything tastes very fresh and the wait time was not long at all. The slices are thinner and not too crunchy for my tastes. I like that a lot. The sauce was sweet and delicious, and the eggplant was better than I've had on pizza before. The pieces were a small but chunky, so the inside was very tender. Jimmy's Pizza also has a root beer and a raspberry lime soda under their own label. It was quite refreshing. I would definitely stop by here again! Thank you for the meal. read more

Jimmy's is my favorite Italian style pizza restaurant that participates in restaurant.com. We drive down from Nashua to eat at Jimmy's nearly every month. One of the things I like about Jimmy's is that the restaurant.com certificates allow take out. The restaurant is nice if you want to eat in - it's just that we often drive down, pick up the pizzas, and then bring them home for a chow fest. In addition to great pizza, we've tried the subs, chicken wings, and fries. Nothing we've tried so far has disappointed. The staff is friendly and helpful at answering questions on the menu. I've added a picture showing a large veggie pizza from Jimmy's. Two of our favorites are the steak pizza and the Hawaiian pizza. If you like buffalo wings, they are really good here. I frequent Jimmy's and usually am happy there. Prices have been a little high, but get decent amount of food. The other day, I ordered and thought the price seemed high for what I ordered based on the menu. I looked at the receipt, and realized that they charged at least $2 more for each item I ordered, compared to the menu displayed. This is the second time recently I've noticed pizza shops doing this. I think people don't pay attention and don't ask for a receipt, so places get away with it. Not sure what the case was here, but either way I was turned off from going back. For food, I ordered chicken parm and the chicken itself, was a bunch of small pieces, not the normal larger pieces. This was unusual in and of itself, but after cutting into the pieces, at least 1/2 of them were all fat and not even chicken at all. Very turned off and won't be back. It's too bad, I previously really liked them. read more

We've been a Jimmy's customer for years, but we just placed a large order that included 4 chicken cutlet subs. All 4 subs had large pieces of something that was rubbery and tough to chew. Honestly the entire experience was meh... The pizza was OK, but I had much much better elsewhere. I also got a thing of French fries and it was soggy. However I think the worst part of the experience was the service. They were rude and short and seemed like they didn't want to talk to me. It seems like I was infringing on their day somehow. The Amiga sub is delicious. The bbq sauce and the secret mayo sauce they use is a nice blend and makes you want to dive into the second half of the sub, even if we shouldn't :) The chicken Cesar salad is exactly how a Cesar salad should be made. The pita bread they serve with it is weak, awful actually. It's thin and hard every time. I have to make sure I have my own pita bread at home before I order it. It's such a predominate Greek culture in this area so I'm surprised it's so awful. The girls at the front are always nice and get the orders right every time. Delivery is quick too! read more

If I could have given 0 stars, I would. I have NEVER EVER encountered such an ignorant employee at a restaurant as I did here. They delivered two pizzas and one of the pizzas was incorrect. A buffalo pizza was ordered and they sent a pizza with plain chicken. When I called to explain, before I could even finish my sentence, he started yelling OVER me saying "I took that order, I did it right". They will not deliver to just over the border in Westford on rt 110. I would have picked up after I tried to explain its just over the border, but he just hung up on me. I never the get pizza here. The sauce tastes like jarred sauce. My husband loves the pepper steak subs, however I'm an Italian sub fan. I ordered one today, got home to eat it and was very disappointed, very scarce on the Italian meats and so much hot sauce that I couldn't taste anything else! Very clean! Open kitchen format lets everyone see how clean the kitchen is and how well the employees practice proper food handling. Believe me, when there is an open kitchen, I watch! The Steak Special was.........excellent! Steak, cheese, onions, peppers, and mushrooms all grilled on a very tasty soft roll. My boyfriend called it a steak bomb. The man who helped me was very courteous and I did not wait long for my sub. He clearly took great pride in the place. I do not know if he is the owner or the manager, but he's a good looking young guy around 30 who is well spoken. The service was so good, I didn't even have time to complete a post on my Facebook page. I would not go back to the Chelmsford area without stopping in and trying another menu item. I am pretty picky about my pizza, so I'll have to ask a few questions before I order one. Great place for sandwiches and pizza. My husband loves it here and always talked about their subs so when we came to Chelmsford for the holidays, we made it a point to stop by and order delivery a few times). I had their spicy chicken wrap which was delicious - the chicken was moist and yes, spicy but not too much so that I was breaking a sweat (which is a good thing). My husband likes their steak sandwiches. On another occasion we ordered their chicken & broccoli pizza and fries. The pizza was awesome - flavourful and the crust was on the crispy side (the way I like it!). The fries are thick cut so you can actually taste the potato. Just went for the first time. I travel to MA maybe once or twice a year. I grew up in NE. Anyway, I had the Amore pizza, a small fried Ravioli and a small garden salad. The pizza was great to me, nice raised crust with decent chew and tasty toppings. The fried Ravioli was a luxury really as an impulse. I enjoyed half the small order of 6 but got a good sample of their tomato sauce which I liked but it wasn't a deep dark red which I thought was odd. The garden salad was surprisingly fresh and crispy with a very good vinaigrette dressing. All in all, I put a star in my Google favorites so I can find my way back next time I'm in town. read more

My extended family and I have been faithful patrons of Jimmy's for years. The employees are pretty accustomed to our large orders, and have treated us like we're their only customers, even at their busiest hour. They've got a quick turnaround time on food, the prices are real cheap (under $10 for a haddock plate? Get outta town!) and they've got a great pizza recipie. (The sauce is a little on the sweet side, with a tasty and soft crust.) I must admit that living in Boston has made me pretty accustomed to the best slices New England has to offer, but I think Jimmy's is right up there with the best of them. read more

So nice to have this place to walk to from our hotel... In the middle of a huge storm! The place is clean and well maintained. The folks here are nice. My son had a blast watching the staff working behind the counter, he's fascinated by the idea of cooking. One of the older staff members even stopped by the counter to say hi to the little guy while we were watching them assemble subs. For dinner we shared a large, 3-topping pizza, a salad, and a soda. Our total bill was about $24 before tip. I thought that price was very reasonable considering we still have half our salad and some pizza left over and we're pretty big eaters usually.
