I can usually convince myself to justify the prices, but this is insane. $9 for this salad?! What? LOL Overall, paid over $30 for a LG. Cheese pizza and this salad & that was with a $5 off coupon! Pizza is good but it's not worth the cost for me anymore. This salad did it for me.

A friend and I stopped in on a Saturday around 2 PM after biking the rail trail. We both ordered wraps: southwestern and Mediterranean both with chicken and a small order of fries to share. The fries were ready before our wraps so we started with those. They are the type that have a crusty texture (cornstarch I think) which are ok but I prefer the good ol' fashion fries. I had the southwestern wrap and thought it was tasty but I wasn't a huge fan of the texture of the wheat wrap which seemed hard. My friend had the mediterranean wrap and said it was good. The young lady at the counter was very friendly. I did think their pricing was a bit high $21 and some change for one wrap, a small fry and a bottled water. We also went next door to the ice cream stand and I would give my cone (their smallest size called a "snack"), a chocolate fudge brownie, a 5 star for taste and consistency. Overall, a convenient stop right off the rail trail but be prepared to spend a few more bucks than expected for a "sub" shop.

Great place to stop in for a beer and a small pizza. This places' claim to fame is that two of the Simpsons cartoon illustrators grew up here in Chelmsford and have included Zesty's Pizza in the intro to the show. So cool to stumble upon this spot. One of daughter's favorite shows!! The menu is extensive, almost overwhelming. If you are in the mood for a salad they have plenty to choose from. Subs...anything you want. Chicken strips? They have that too! It always worries me when restaurants have too much variety though. My thoughts...Stick to less items but do them well. Thankfully I picked the right pizza joint out of the two within walking distance from my hotel. The crust is a bit thicker than I like. It was almost a pan pizza. The sauce was perfect, sausage divine but a little stingy on the cheese. The crust was nice and crunchy on the bottom. Overall, I was impressed. The waitress was lovely. I chatted with her, charged my phone and watched the end of the B.B. game. This is a nice little family friendly place. It gets a ton of take out orders so don't let the empty place scare you away.

Where are my pickles and hots

Today I ordered from zesty for the first time. Italian sub with everything. It has no pickles or hots. It also came toasted without requesting it to be toasted. It's too bad because the sub would have been ok if it was the way I wanted it. Unfortunately with the amount of sub and pizza shops in billerica this will be my only visit to zestys.

Never again! Delivery never showed. Zesty's stopped answering the phone. Plenty of Pizza shops in the area to support. Not this one!

The outdoor igloo seating seemed like a risky choice (it's only outdoor seating or take out here) but we went for it anyway. You're seated in your own igloo, it was about a 40 degree night and we stayed comfortable keeping our light jackets on. We enjoyed our time and our food eating-in, that we will order from this market again in the future. We both ordered the spicy mango margarita, which tasted very good. I don't think the drinks are made fresh? Can't confirm, but I believe I saw something premixed poured into the glass I was served. We ordered the charred veggie hummus and it was some of the best hummus I've ever tasted. If they're not actually making that stuff fresh they had me fooled, so I will guess that they are. The pita was warm, fresh, and fluffy. We each got one of the bowl entrees -- the steak and a salmon bowl -- the portions were generous and the fresh, veggie forward entree was exactly what was needed for an out-of-town stop (you can only eat so much bar food out here). Overall, I've read the bad reviews and can totally see how this place would be a gamble depending on what you order. But from my experience I had no truly bad remarks, and I would definitely return.

I always try to give credit where credit is due, but this place REALLY rubbed me the wrong way. I ordered a classic burger and the truffle tots and was completely shocked at how bad it was. The patty was dense and bland and had scalloped edges!!! Wtf. Clearly bought from a food service company. And worse, it was completely over cooked. I could have overlooked the industrial patty had the flavor and the burger fixings been good, but unfortunately not. No lettuce, no tomatoes, just a couple of pickles and a sloppy amount of chipotle aioli. I don't think that's a "classic" burger in most people's book. The aioli had SO much chipotle powder in it that it overpowered the entire burger with bitterness. I find a shitty burger to be an unforgivable restaurant sin given how little effort they are to make properly. It's lazy and inexcusable. The tots (which I'll give you, are a slightly more acceptable item to be out of a bag) were so drenched in truffle oil that they were greasy and overpowered by artificial truffle flavor. I also got a piece of cake. How bad does cake have to be for you to toss it after one bite? Pretty stinking bad... it had a weird chemical taste. I feel disrespected as a diner that this market eatery thinks people don't taste the difference between industrial food company food and the real, freshly made thing.

Since they don't open until 4:00 PM and the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, it was surprising that one of their signature barbecue items was already unavailable. The service was friendly throughout our visit. Our server was pleasant, although we did have to remind them a couple of times about the straws and plates we had requested. The food itself was enjoyable. The agave-glazed wings were the best out of all our meals. Charred, flavorful, and something I'd definitely order again. The brisket was tender and well prepared, and while the burnt ends were cooked nicely, they were a bit sweeter than my personal preference. Unfortunately, the apple cider vinaigrette for the salad didn't agree with us afterward, although that may simply come down to individual sensitivity. Portions were generous, making the meal a good value. My only other suggestion would be to serve the food a little hotter, as everything cooled off fairly quickly. One thing this location has going for it is the convenience. There's plenty of parking, and it's much easier to get to than the Boston locations. Overall, delivered solid barbecue with generous portions and friendly service. If they can keep popular menu items like ribs available a little longer and tighten up a few small details, it would make for an even better experience.

As this is Latinx heritage month, seems like a perfect time to finally check them out. This is a tiny little store front. Most of the building is taken up by kitchen and storage. There are 2 two-tops and 1 four-top table for dining-in. Tables are very nice and the area was clean. An open kitchen over looks the dining area. A cashier stand, where you order, is to the left of the entrance. Menu boards are located on the wall above the open kitchen. A cooler across from the cashier holds bottled soda, water and tea. The cashier was super personable and answered a couple of silly questions from me. (I always have questions. So many questions!) I had to try the empanadas of course and they offer several varieties. My SO got himself a pepperoni pizza. We both grabbed bottled soda. We had an opportunity to chat a little with the cook too who is also very nice. A parton who is clearly known to the staff came in and had a long, friendly chat with staff while we ate. Just before we left some high school students came in. This is absolutely a neighborhood spot. The pastry on my empanada is very good. Flakey, thin, holds together well. I would have preferred less pastry for the amount of filling. Most bites were air. The ground beef was seasoned well enough but I think I was looking for more spice and maybe a little heat. Still, it was enjoyable. The vegetable empanada was bell peppers, onions and mushrooms with a little bit of cheese. Same result. I was looking for more filling, spice and heat. Don't get me wrong. They are good. I did enjoy them. And for all I know, this is the way abuela makes them. Everyone has their own preferences. This is just me. Take it as you will. My SO enjoyed his pizza. That's all I got from him. Sorry I can't elaborate. This is a small store front right off a neighborhood. On street parking is free. You may have to walk a bit from your parking spot, but as mentioned, this is really a neighborhood spot the locals frequent. There does not appear to be a public restroom inside. I didn't ask. Staff were lovely. Food is good.
