At my table we had the short rib hash, the boursin cheese egg sandwich, the salmon egg scramble & the sausage, egg and pimento sandwich. Everything was excellent. The hash had amazing roasted potatoes, a nice amount of meat and two beautiful fried eggs on top. Actually, all the dishes came with a side of roasted potatoes that were wonderful. One of the things that I think would really elevate this restaurant is if their orange juice was fresh squeezed. However, it was quite good. We will be coming back soon to try the Italian grinder and the Nutella French toast. We are told that there is music on some nights and we did not review the dinner menu. Oh, there's also a fair with a few rides and carnival food but the real star is the derby. I went for the first time tonight and now I'm absolutely hooked. When the fair is in town it's a must. Get a funnel cake and pull up a piece of bleacher and watch some cars get smashed!

Yesterday I called to make a reservation for SPECIFICALLY May 3-7. I spoke to Jamie. She said…read moreusing my AARP the price would be $78.29/day = $260.70 TOTAL. Today I called to cancel. I could hardly hear the lady on the line. I asked for her name but she refused to provide it. I told her I wanted to ensure it was cancelled. I asked her to email me the confirmation. I looked at my email. There was a cancellation, but there was ALSO a confirmation of a reservation for SEVEN nights! The price was $715! So I searched for yesterday's reservation and it was for SEVEN nights at $715 by Jamie's when she distinctly told me the total price would be $270! In addition to the WRONG days, the WRONG price, ALL the confirmations have my name misspelled. Getting to talk to a supervisor is impossible. I hope I am not charged after 'whoever it was' confirmed the reservation a SECOND time AFTER cancelling it. I wonder if they are on drugs or they want to get fired. This is unacceptable.
