Been using different CHEM DRY franchisee's for a number of years. As I didn't hear from this one all week to confirm today's appt, and she couldn't "find me" yesterday afternoon for a while, I should've known something wasn't good. The guys came this morning and fired up their old and very noisy van. A few minutes into the job, I asked the one guy, why wasn't he vacuuming first...? His response was they "don't do that anymore and the vacuum is in the truck broken..." All the other times, the guys would move small pieces of furniture, so they get as much of the carpet as possible. Not this time.. In past CHEM DRY visits, they used a large soft rake to go over the carpet at the end, which really makes the fibers stand up and dry quickly. Not anymore...! Used to only take a couple hours to dry. It's now going on 5 hours and still VERY wet. Sad to see what used to be a good experience sink so low..... read more

Kim dry was easy to schedule, they called before coming to confirm, they showed up on time and I did ask them to wear masks and they were fine with that. Take a light-colored linen sleigh bed, mix in two rowdy dogs, add a dash of spilled wine and you have a recipe for an unsightly mess! But Victor did a great job! This place was the worst. First off the guy shows up to my house gives me a quote of $232. He over hears me tell my wife it's gonna roughly $250 and then he writes a new quote changing the bill to $250. On top of that, He tried to swindle me of this protection product of $100 but he'll give it to me for under table for $50 bucks as long as we keep it hush hush. I told him, no thanks. Luckily I had a coupon of $30 off the entire purchase which I present to him at the end to which he replies to me, "were a different company." Even though it has the exact logo and off the exact website on his card. The cleaning itself was mediocre at best. The stains I inquired him about he said he could remove but at the completion of the work he said, " I couldn't get it off." Not to mention he damaged my base boards. Total rip-off! I paid almost $300 for some grout cleaning and carpet "cleaning" - The grout got pretty clean but they missed several spots and didn't do the perimeter. The tech insisted that the grout was all clean even though i pointed out several places he had missed. Carpet cleaning resulted in the carpet having a crunchy feel to it and they don't look any different than before the cleaning. Save your money - use someone else for carpets and if you want to clean your grout - use the same product they use - it's called Quick 'n Brite and you can buy a bottle for $25 online. Not happy with their service. They sent an experienced tech. While he was cleaning the carpet with his machine, he scuffed and scratched the base boards and some of our walls.
