We had a very unique…read morecase where we wanted one part of our backsplash redone due to a botched job from a previous contractor. He provided an estimate within two days of me reaching out and us discussing the problem and his recommended solution. I had to buy the materials for the job (tile, grout and trim) but that was fine with me as it was stated up front. I was able to double check the exact materials with him. We weren't able to have Garik and his team come until 2 months later (due to our own reasons) but he and his team showed up on time and ready to go. Because our backsplash has a herringbone pattern, they had to cut a lot of the tile pieces to properly fit the space (poor guy came in and out so many times I lost count). The end result though is a BEAUTIFUL cohesive backsplash. We love it. We also had a separate shower tile grout crack that I wanted Garik to look at when he was here. He explained the reasoning for the crack and provided a couple of solutions. We decided to move forward with one of them (for an additional pre-approved amount) and he drove all the way to Home Depot to buy the materials and fix the crack. It looks great actually and we appreciated the extra effort! LA traffic is no joke. I reached out to a lot of tile companies and I felt like I got the best service from Garik and his team from beginning to end. Would highly reco and would absolutely use them again. Thank you!

Extremely disappointed in George and his wife. Went into their store last week and the first thing…read moreI explained is that three different people's escrow is all riding on the date we need for installing new counters, so all parties could close escrow in our five day deal. I even agreed to pay more than the other contractors estimates so we could get a date confirmed. George confirmed a date. He then guaranteed the date after I stressed again how important it was that this was the most important thing for our timeline. My husband and I asked him to write it up so I could pay a deposit to confirm the date. George says "Oh, I will just email it to you." I said "we will wait. How long can it take?" He says "20 minutes." I told him "it's ok, we will wait." He starts stuttering/huffing and puffing about it making it seem that he doesn't want us to wait and he guarantees that we will get the contract within 20 minutes. We leave. 20 minutes go by..an hour goes by..then it's past 5 o'clock. We email him to ask him what happened. No response again. He then emails back the following day with an apology and the contract. Done. He tells me to come in to pick materials. I go in today to pick up materials and he tells me that he hoped I went somewhere else and went with another company because he can no longer do the date he confirmed. We already signed all of the escrow paperwork so did the sellers of the property we are purchasing and the buyers of our property. We are now starting our five days on the day that he confirmed and he tells me that he cannot start for another five days. Totally unacceptable behavior for a businessman. especially after I stressed how important this was .I asked him to please call the client and have them move out and he said no he doesn't want to make a client upset! I explained to him that what he did was unacceptable. He could've at least called me or emailed me. He said it didn't matter. Terrible businessman. Totally disregard of clients time. Unprofessional. Left us in a bad position now. Not only will I never work with him, but I will never refer anybody to his business and advise everybody to stay far away. Do yourself a favor and do not even attempt to do business with George. Check his other negative reviews as they speak for themselves. Terrible customer service.
