Chem - Well was in my subdivision, spraying the units for the homeowners association. They did a thorough job spraying the eaves, etc Milo was the service person who was doing the job for our HOA. I asked him a question because I've been seeing wasps around my balcony. And he offered to take a look and spray any areas necessary off my balcony. Milo was very kind, knowledgeable and responsible. He explained I'll need to wait a few weeks to see any difference and to call the HOA if I have any other problems and they'll be back out to treat my Townhome. Highly recommend! read more

We started seeing clothes moths and contacted several pest control companies. One said they don't treat for clothes moths, one said they would do the standard spraying for several hundred dollars, and one referred me to a lead service who referred me to another pest control company who referred me to someone else, and then referred me to another number where I was told I would be on hold for 10 minutes. I then called Chem-wise where an appointment was set for a service call. At the appointed time, the tech, Taylor, showed up and explained in detail what he could do and what he couldn't do for clothes moths. Basically, the only way to get rid of them is heating or freezing all your clothes and washing the closet and carpet--things an outside firm can't really do. I believe Taylor gave me straight information and didn't try to push a service. There was no charge for the service call, and for that, I trust Chem-wise! read more

When we first hired them our technician was Alden, who has since quit. He was thorough and informative. He came back as many times as needed for a one year contract. An actual 12 month contrac!t which included as many repeat servicing during the 12 months if needed!! We've had 3 different technicians since and now a year is actually about 4 months. or 90 days depending on who you're talking to. They will come back if you complain that the job was not successful....but you have to resign up. Plus the las tech actually tracked mud all over the stairs and dining room as he went through and down to the basement. BEWARE! Probably new management....heh? No Customer service. Tried many things myself and even another company but NO ONE can beat Chem Wise. Had a terrible ant problem about 3 years ago. They came inside and took care of the problem. The entire outside of the house was sprayed, too. I now have them on a tri-annual contract (no real contract) basis. Although I can have them inside at any time, I have not had to have the inside treated. Just the outside. Can's say enough about this company's product. read more

We have been using Chem-Wise for more than 5 years, and have consistently been very pleased. An indoor problem prompted our first call. The team responded quickly, carefully explained the issue, causes, and solutions, and solved the problem. They have done a great job of preventing issues since then. The team provides advance notice of visits and reliably comes when scheduled. Though the work is done outside unless a problem requires something to be done inside, the service technician always comes to the door to introduce himself and check if there are any questions or problems. In what has become a rare perk, whenever I have called the company, a person answers the phone and quickly addresses the question. Everyone has been polite and eager to provide service. Chem-Wise and manager JD are a god send! I made a HUGE mistake and ordered a box of clothes from a popular online consignment store and it brought clothes moths into my house. I have never had a pest problem in the 16 years I have been in my home and am devastated. I have been beside myself finding someone who is knowledgeable on clothes moths and can help. I called 3 competitors all said they didn't usually deal with clothes moths, only pantry moths. I had one competitor come out 2 times and install traps and while great, they didnt know if the traps caught just males or females. They also didn't give me any cleaning suggestions or expected timeline for resolution. After 4 weeks of exhaustion, I found Chem-Wise and spoke with JD. He spent close to 30 mins talking with me and sharing his knowledge explaing the types of clothes moths, the different traps for each, cleaning suggestions , explanation of carpet spray option service Chem-Wise offered and timeline for everything. All the 30 minutes of information he gave me was more than any competitor provided in the last 4 weeks, and he gave it to me free! He didn't even try to push any services since a competitor had already come to my house to set traps. But I only trust Chem-Wise now and so I asked if a consultatuon could be done at my home and he scheduled it right away and said it was free! He also gave me his direct number if I needed him for anything. While it is going to take time to rid this problem, I now have so much peace knowing I have Chem- Wise' knowledge, support, and amazing service to help me through it all. Today, via footage captured on my doorbell camera, I watched a chem-wise employee pull into my driveway, sit in his truck for 10 minutes and then put an $80 invoice in my door. I called Chem-Wise and they said it must've been a notice saying they're coming next week because of rain yesterday. Doesn't make sense. Then the tech calls me and leaves a message saying to disregard the invoice and throw it away. Again, very odd and suspicious. So I was lied to by two people to try to scam me out of $80. Chem-wise, I welcome you to dispute this review. I'm happy to post my footage. Don't use this service. They tried to steal $80 from me. I had been a customer for years. Called and spoke to a really friendly woman who I explained the issue to and she even steered me away from requesting the removal service since I didn't actually know what the problem was, just that I was seeing what looked like some sort of pest droppings. She had actually recommended their free inspection. Great! At this point I'm thinking I actually found a quality business that will do a good job. She told me they would need to turn the business over to a more local facility and that I would be getting a call back from this more local facility by the next day... That was 2 weeks ago without a call. Could I call them back? Sure, but I shouldn't have to, I'll just give my business to another provider that actually knows how to follow through... after all, if I can't get them to follow through on a phone call, how can I really expect them to follow through on pest removal? Especially when they seem to be pushing return service. read more
