After a few minutes, a nurse called me in, took my information, and told me to wait for the dermatology practitioner. The practitioner, Jason, came in and I showed him the skin problem on my back. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the visit. He briefly looked at the rash, told me to come back next month for a skin biopsy, and said they would send the sample to a lab. The whole appointment lasted only a few minutes, and I left without a clear explanation of what caused the rash or what I could do in the meantime. Overall, the experience felt rushed and not very professional. I expected a more thorough examination and better communication about my condition and next steps.

The waiting time has always been normal for a doctor's office, people sometimes expect instant appointments, but these are medical professionals doing thorough work, and I appreciate that. I've seen two different female providers here, and both have been amazing: attentive, patient, and really focused on addressing my concerns. They do not validate parking but that's also normal everywhere, so give yourself enough time to find street parking or simply park at their structure. Anyways, highly recommend this location! :)

It should also be noted that the company failed to provide me with an itemized receipt or proof of service. Although the doctor was friendly upon my visit, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere due to the inflamed prices and lack of proper communication and documentation.

I was referred to them by altamed and the first time I went in, I was seen by their physician assistant Sakina who would constantly cut me off from speaking. She kept making guesses as to what my skin condition was and what caused it, even though I have had testing done to rule out things she mentioned. They then gave me an appointment 6 WEEKS AWAY to get my biopsy done, when you are meant to get it done immediately when the sample is fresh for a definitive diagnosis. Of course, when it came time for the appointment, my skin was healed and there was nothing left to biopsy. The PA essentially shrugged her shoulders and said to wait until I had another breakout, which is just absurd negligence. Now that my skin is starting to break out again, I have called numerous times only for them to not answer the phone even if I call early. The time I got through, I had a very short conversation where the receptionist was very short and blunt, and essentially dismissed my concerns. The few times I have gone into their office, there have only been at most a handful of people, which really shows the incompetence of the receptionists. I've sat in the lobby and listened to them do nothing but yap and cackle and they always talk to you with an attitude, whether in person or on the phone. It's obvious these people don't want to do their jobs, and why they chose this line of work where one is expected to help people in a courteous manner is beyond me. They seem to really love their Botox and cosmetic stuff though.

When Rosslee did call back I was unable to schedule an appointment after all the wait due to them being all booked for the times we could go. She stayed on the phone with me and patiently guided me how to get to the correct building. (totally my own fault, I struggle with my navigator. The building is simple to find if you just follow directions. I arrived late and stressed, but she was kind and understanding. Dr. Chu was very kind, explained his recommendations and let me ask any questions I wanted to. His assistant Hannah was also very nice.
