Don't let the low prices deter you - this is a great spot for affordable indulgence - we all could use a massage, and I am happy to see a good one at a great price! My boyfriend and I got the C Package: Aroma Paradise. 1 hr full body massage, 40 min essential facial, and 20 min foot reflexology w/ a hot stone add on (thanks, yelp!). If you want a couple's massage you have to call ahead. The staff do not speak English very well, so be courteous and patient, and you'll be fine. Their phone manner is a bit off putting but it really is only because of the language barrier. They are lovely in person and all seem happy to work there, which isn't always the case for affordable spas due to poor/unlawful labor conditions, etc. The staff is extremely nice, friendly, and receptive. If you don't tell them to give more pressure, they won't, so speak up if you want to customize a little. The hot stone add on is a definite must. There's something about a hot rock on your tailbone that I can't quite describe, but man, does it feel good. The foot reflexology seems like a foot rub with the hot stone to me, but I'm not an expert. It felt good and my stressed out boyfriend (demanding job in news media..you can imagine) felt relaxed and refreshed. It was his first massage so he was totally on board with regular massages--and this guy is not easy to convince. Trust me. The Essential facial was 40 minutes long and was essentially (no pun intended) a bunch of lotion, the steamer to open your pores, and end with a sheet mask. I've done the same thing in my home, but I'm well-versed on skin care/masks. Although it wasn't the best facial I ever had, I can't deny my boyfriend and I looked refreshed and luminous afterward! There were no extractions which was a bummer, but understandable for the time and price. 120 minutes of a lot of comfort, pleasure groans (mostly by me, honestly...), and great customer service. I will 100% be back for a massage in the future. I would totally give this place a shot if you want a massage to reset your body and mind. PS as mentioned before, they give you used sandals, so if you don't have flip flops....prepare to squirm in those sandals for the brief time you'll be in them. The towels are low quality and clearly have seen better days. Once again those aren't really important but germaphobes may have a hard time with this place. I had an amazing 60 minute massage here for just $62. In fact, it was better than other massages that I have paid $100+ for! The place is no frills, but cutely decorated, clean and the ambiance is relaxing. The masseuse was excellent and paid attention to every inch of my body. Sometimes when you go to a Chinese body work place, you get beat up and bruised because the "deep tissue" massage is intense--not here! I had a nice, medium pressure Swedish massage with hot stones and it was awesome. I'm sure you could get a deep tissue massage if you asked for it, but it's nice to know they offer more than one type of therapy unlike those smaller, hole-in-the-wall places. The massage therapist was quite skilled at working out all the knots in my back and neck and I am planning on coming back as often as I can! My first time ever getting a massage and I have to say I had a great experience at King Spa. My sister took me to King Spa a few days before my wedding to help me distress. We got a distress and hot stone massage for an hour. Before starting the session the masseuse would ask you what areas do you want them to focus on. I like that they did not go easy/soft during the massage since I know I have tons of knots on my shoulder area thats the area I wanted them to focus on. Right after the session the masseuse(s) washes their hands thoroughly which shows their cleanliness. Although I never got a massage before I feel like the prices were moderate. Never had that in a massage before.... had a 90min "whole body massage" but feet remained untouched except for my Achilles heel. Took my friend here for her birthday, and she loved it. The package deals they offer are a steal. We did the Beauty package and added a body scrub. The body scrub was amazing, it left our skin so smooth. Their massages are great because they work with your needs. Helpful, kind and caring, and they know how to get the kinks out! Went for a deep tissue massage and I felt great right after. Ensured they were getting all the right spots and had the right amount of pressure. I did wish that there was some music playing to cancel out the outside noise from beyond the massage room. Best experience ever!!! First time here at this establishment and I can say it was great. Upon walking in we were greeted by a kind hostess who never asked our shoe size but checked is in and told us to have a seat while she rushed off somewhere. The waiting area was very comfortable and clean. Anyways, the hostess returned with slippers for my friend and I and they were So comfortable that I wanted to take them with me. The staff was very professional and courteous. During the massage, my masseuse kept asking if I was alright and I appreciate that given it was my first time. When I arrived for my deep tissue massage, the man at the front desk asked what areas of concern I had. When I told him I suffer from Sciatic pain in the lower back, glutes and legs, he went inside and told the massage therapist. The masseuse, Ann, knew exactly where told apply pressure and gave me a wonderful massage covering all ares of concern. I was there a couple imes before and the massage were aways good. I went to try this place out with a living social deal. I went with my boyfriend and he got the deep tissue massage while I got a mini facial. My facial was okay, the products were suitable for my skin, the only problem is that the lady put too much pressure on my eyes while she was massaging my face. When it was done, my eyes were uncomfortable and blurry. My boyfriend also complained about how his masseuse used uneven strength on his body so he felt in pain on one side while the other side didn't feel anything. I would have given this venue a four star-rating if it wasn't for some distressing moments that transpired during my visit. I came here on a Saturday morning and was anticipating my massage and whole body scrub. When I first arrived I decided to get a Brazilian wax and they didn't give me a hard time about the last minute add-on. The process for the waxing was painful for all intensive purposes but what was more painful was the position I was in for about 15 minutes out of the 20 min. service. The bed they have is in a awkward spot and there's no place to comfortably rest your legs. Anyway, after that ordeal I received my body scrub; which was supposed to be for 60 minutes but was only 20 to 25 minutes. What they fail to disclose is that the scrub down itself is only about 20 minutes and the rest of the time you spend in the mini showers that they have in some of the service rooms to wash the contents off your body. Afterwards I had my 60 minute massage which was a little more than mediocre as it could have been better. I may give this place one more try (minus the Brazilian wax of course) and just choose a different service. read more

I've been here a number of times, and finally decided to write a review after another good experience. The services here are professional, affordable, and feel great. The employees are nice and professional, also. The rooms and facilities are clean and comfortable, and as mentioned in other reviews, the employees seem to be happy and treated well. At the end of a long week of teaching, the 60 min massage here makes me feel healthy and relaxed... everything feels better afterwards! On a more general note, about service businesses like spas and salons - if you want to be sure that your masseuse (or manicurist, or other service provider) receives the tip you leave them, leave the tip in cash, put the cash in their hand if possible, and be generous. :) read more

My boyfriend planned a couples massage, facial and relax "foot" massage. I feel like a got beat up. The lady was so rough and i told her to stop doing it so hard on my back when at first they asked what was a concern and i mentioned my lower back. Then my facial was alright, i have had better. I was in need of a good massage because I started lifting weights again and could feel a lot of tension in my back and legs. So I went on Groupon and found this place. Not as popular as the other places but the price was much more reasonable and the location was in Brooklyn which was closer to me. I called them to see if there was any appointments available the next day and there was. You may have to drive around for a few blocks to find parking but its WORTH IT. This place is very professional and CLEAN. From the pictures/videos, I said to myself, surely this place in Brooklyn doesn't look like this, and is not this clean. I was wrong. The masseuse was very good. She was polite and respectful. The sandals they give you while in the building we also SOOOOO comfortable. I offered to buy them but they were not for sale. Helpful, inviting, comfy, relaxing, rejuvenating, these are just some of the words that I can use to describe the wonderful experience at the Kings Spa Nyc in Bay Ridge. I was looking for a couples massage as a birthday gift. I had a hard time finding a place that does not charge prices that "massage parlors" charge (understand what I mean?) I wanted to something classy, nice and a good reputation, basically I wanted wine without paying for champagne, I don't think that's so unfair, right? I searched and searched I stumbled across Kings and of all the places I looked into, and I swear this to be true, they were, at that time(Oct 2014), they were the only one without a bad review, not one that I can remember. I thought how can that be not even one customer with a bad experience, like most of the others. I contacted them to ask about a package they had on a "coupon" site, they said they don't offer them it was only for that site(which was no longer available, you snooze you lose..lol) I went back and forth with a thousand questions about different packages and prices, etc...I ended up getting the Kings Rejuvenating Spa Package, same room massage, same time and they even gave me a discount on it, WITHOUT ME ASKING. The day of the massage went just as well as the process of choosing and booking the Spa and package. Very inviting and accommodating when we arrived, very pleasant person to greet and ready us. As for the 90minute massage, let me put it to you this way. In that type of setting I can't sit still longer then 15 minutes, this setting and massage kept me silent and still for the whole 90 minutes. Even a couple of long sighs and moans came out of me (no not those kinds you experience in those other type of "massage parlors") I mean from total relaxation, fan-frikin-tabulous, I couldn't believe it and am grateful to find such a place that can get this restless person so relaxed. I give it 3 stars only because I got an older lady who really put pressure on my back. I had to moan a few times to let her know it hurt!
