Found this place on Yelp and they had great reviews so that was why I decided to give them a go after being in desperate need of some self care. They were very accommodating to squeeze me in after I called same day for an appointment. At first they told me they were full for the time frame I needed but then actually called me back to inform me they had a cancellation and would be able to service me. I opted in for the beauty package which was 30 mins of body massage, foot massage and facial. The place was very clean and upon arrival temperature was taken. I didn't have to wait which was a plus for me because I was prompt myself. The lady who took care of me was gentle and checked in on me throughout the massage to make sure I was ok. The massage was very good. The facial was ok, it wasn't what I was expecting but I was so relaxed and calm I didn't mind. It was like a lot of lotion/serums being applied and a face mask. I would of like to be told what was being put on but again I was in Zen mode so I just let her do her thing. I will come back to this establishment for sure in the near future. I've been here several times for their 1 hour full body massage and I must say they have always satisfied, especially today hence I was motivated to write this review. The massage was heaven sent, Betty was my masseuse. She really knows what she is doing, I highly recommend you ask for her. I came around noon so maybe that also had something to do with it less busy at that time = better service. The spa itself is very clean and well decorated and furnished. I got the King Re-balancing package including 30 min body scrub, 1 hr massage, and 30 min foot reflexology. The body scrub was incredible and the value of the place is top notch. The staff were incredibly friendly, the decor was lovely, and the waiting room chairs were most comfortable. In the room for the body scrub, they have a shower that transitions from handle jet to overhead to surrounding jets. This luxury was unexpected given the value of the place but went the distance. I have never fallen asleep during a foot massage but I was passed out in this one! They were very accommodating with me from start to finish. It has been a long few weeks...I have been under a *lot* of stress from seemingly every angle. Eventually, I decided that I wanted to do something about it, since literally everything hurt. I did a search, and found a place that was local, and King Spa had great ratings. I did not have any plan to go in advance -- I just decided to go spur-of-the-moment. I gave them a call, and while they prefer you have an appointment, they were able to give me one the same day. I walk in, told them who I was, and they were ready for me. A few minutes later, they brought me to a room and my therapist -- Nina -- came in and had me prepare for my treatment. She was amazing. I'm a big guy, and she was crazy strong and was able to work all my muscles, even the ones that I did not realize were problematic. I could feel all of them loosen up and the tension reduce as she kept working. I definitely plan on going back in a few weeks. The price was not bad, and they offer many other services too. If you check in, you also get a hot stone upgrade to your treatment -- definitely worth it! Bring cash if you'd like to tip your therapist. You can add a tip to your CC bill, but its just easier to give a few dollars in cash if you can. read more

I've been coming here for acupuncture treatment since September of last year. As someone who lower back arthritis I was having a lot of issues just walking and event sitting for long periods. The acupuncturist Cheng has been very helpful in not only helping me manage my pain but teaching me ways to better my body. He is super kind and accommodating. I have passed this establishment a few times and have been looking to go for quite sometime. I decide to go in for a massage since my lower back was killing me from a rough week of CrossFit. I walked in and was politely greeted and given a pair of slippers. I discussed with the nice woman my back issue and was already set on a 60 min massage, but she recommended the deep tissue. I was then brought to a room and the massage ensued. It was a great massage, the masseuse knew all the trigger points and even though slightly painful was doing exactly what i was looking for. Went today after experiencing major back/neck pain due to stress and poor sleeping position. Dropped in about 1pm without an appointment. No problem and no wait. Place is quiet and clean. Upon check-in, i was greeted warmly and ask what I wanted. The women gave me options and applied no pressure when making my choice. Was taken to a room immediately to a room. Opted for a 1 hour back and should massage (deep tissue) and 1 hour lower leg and foot massage. Both were great. Not the best I've ever had but definitely making the better! My back issues were fixed, I felt great, energized and ready to go! I'll definitely be back! Price was well worth it! 2 hour service in Brooklyn and about $100! Trust me, just go! Only tip--'real shoes' aren't allowed in the back so bring socks. The flood flops they give you to wear aren't disposable. read more

This Spa is clean and cheap which are great. However the therapists are hit or miss. I have had the facial, deep tissue massage, express massage and reflexology for feet. The facial was eh. I wouldn't get it again unless it was bundled. The deep tissue was incredible. Hurt yes, but exactly what I needed. Note: they do massage your butt so if you're uncomfortable tell them first. Reflexology with the woman I had I'd pass on it again. Also, the woman completely ignored that I asked for the lower back and leg massage and didn't even touch my legs...meanwhile I came in because my hip was killing me. I would have rated than lower HOWEVER the owner displayed amazing customer service and did it over properly and it was incredible. She isn't available often but definitely try to get one with her. But what's a girl to do when she has some serious neck pain and most of her money must go to high rent, so crazy expensive spa massages are not an option (yes, even The Ridge is getting up there)? I went here with my bf on a friday morning and the experience was great. The place was nice and clean and the people there were friendly. My bf had the 60 min deep tissue massage, he thoroughly enjoyed it and felt very loose and relaxed afterwards. Customer service was excellent. I had a 60 min whole body scrub and I enjoyed it so much; it's like having a massage at the same time. My skin felt smooth and clean afterwards. I'm giving this place 4 stars because after my body scrub, the lady didn't remove all the scrub mixture on my body. She just handed me a towel to remove the rest. Maybe they can add a shower room so it wont be a hassle for customers who's there to get a body scrub. But anyway, I'll definitely come back here and I recommend this place. :) read more

It was my wife and I anniversary so I yelped the best massage in Brooklyn and this place showed up so I decided to give it a shot and it lived up to my expectations. My wife is in her first trimester pregnant and they were very accommodating. OMG, we both had amazing full body massage, from head to toe. I am very picky person. And it's always hard to find something what I can like. But this place and people who work there is GREAT. If I waked past this location on a regular street like where it is located I would've never guessed this jewel of a venue. When you walk into the rooms it's like in the movies. So fancy!! The receptionist was such a gentleman he was friendly and welcoming. TIP: if you plan to use the couple space please make sure to book the first time of the day which is 11AM. Because the amount of phone calls they receive you are not guaranteed the room later in the day. We began with our full body scrub the half hour edition. It was a warm mix all over. We both loved it. When I say full I mean full (butt included too that was awesome).Then the full warm body rinse. Omg amazing. Next was the massage, now understand when they say deep tissue massage, you will receive A DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE! That woman worked every knot I had! There was some discomfort but work is working me out too and I let her work on me because I needed it. She also gave me an amazing neck message I never knew how much I would love it until I had it, booty massage was nice too. Next was the facial and then like an oil massage. Now I can be anxious but I didn't know it will show up during my facial. I had fell asleep due to the length of the massage. So she had placed this mask thing on my face and it was like a mild scent but then she added that air infused thing that airs heat on your face(idk what it's called it's like a humidifier). I started panicking and turned my face and body heavy breathing. She immediately moved the humidifier away. And calmed me down then we continued. Then later on I fell into a deep sleep and it happened again. She started massaging my arms with oil slowly and I was able to finish my session. I really appreciated her for that because I felt a bit insecure but she was compassionate (I wish I asked her name). Overall this palace here is amazing it was worth the commute! Before King Spa, I used to get the occasional Groupon for a massage at whichever place in my area was offering one at the time. They were all satisfactory. But I did not see the value in returning because the Groupon price is usually for new customers only, and I prefer to float around at different establishments for a lower price than commit to one at a higher rate. When I found Kings Spa, that quickly changed. They are relatively inexpensive, and are well worth it. I always get the 60 minute deep tissue massage and always leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The staff is highly professional and respectful. The massage therapists are happy to adjust the pressure and/or focus area to whatever suits your body. So glad I tried this place out! I booked a couples massage with Betty and Jenny. We started out with a whole body scrub which felt soo soothing. It did not irritate or feel harsh on my skin. To moisturize the exfoliated skin, we were coated with an oil which had light to no fragrance. The massage was overall perfect. They were able to squeeze all three of us in for hour long massages. Parking is a little tricky since it's street parking, but we were able to get a spot right across the street. We were okay with this but it isn't ideal. -One time there was no music during the massage, one time I could hear fighting from an upstairs neighbor (nothing they can do I suppose), and another time it seemed to be the same song playing over and over again.
