My husband was craving pizza while on vacation in Florida. He saw the name MotorCity Pizza and was…read morevery intrigued since we are from Michigan. He ordered the Pauly D pizza and it was as good as Buddy's pizza in Michigan. Thick crispy crust was delicious. I ordered a chicken pita sandwich with no tomato and no cheese (normally has American cheese and Swiss cheese). A massive sandwich was placed in front of me - it could not even be folded into a wrap size. I started to eat from the top and was about 1/3 of the way done when I noticed it had cheese still (which I cannot eat due to extreme dairy sensitivity). I went back to the counter and asked if I could get a different kits without cheese. The owner was at the counter and immediately took the sandwich from me and had the chef remake it. I was a bit surprised that it was going to be remade when a new pita would have made me happy. Well I got a new meal and dig in again. My husband had pizza leftover so he took it to his sister's house as she just moved into a new condo in Boynton Beach. Her and her BFF took one look at the pizza and dove in. They enjoyed it so much that she ordered three pizzas for her condo-warming party! Folks really enjoyed it! And if you are from Michigan or visited when younger, they have a good selection of Faygo pop (cuz you gotta call it pop like MI natives do). We would definitely come back here again.

The margarita pizza was a sauce less pizza and instead of tomato sauce they just had sliced tomatoes! I was offered to put sauce on it but I suggested that I try it the way it's supposed to be served! Seemed like the owner was happy I suggested that! As a New Yorker I've always been fond of NY style thin crust pizza. I don't normally get anything deep dish or Sicilian style, but I'm glad I did this time! The crust was delicious and had great texture!

The prices here keep going up but one thing that is always consistent is going to be their food. I…read morehave been coming to this location for years and I have never had a complaint over one of their fresh burgers, shoestring fries or their shakes. Their AC though? Pretty cold at all times. Staff here really consists of back of the house as ordering and seating is all self service. Their soda machine is also self service but to prevent customers from stealing, you get a QR code that you scan after paying for a drink. Drive through can be a lot slower than I'd like but I always try to keep my visit as a dine in.

Love that they revamped their menu with beef tallow-cooked fries and grass-fed Wagyu beef burgers…read more-- that's what made me come in to give them a try! I've had Steak 'n Shake before, but many years ago, and never went back. This location is nearby and I drive by it all the time, so I figured it was worth a second chance now that the menu is better. The place has plenty of outside parking and a drive-thru. We dined inside, where you order at the kiosks and they call you when your food's ready. Everything is made to order, so it's nice to know your food is fresh. The location was clean, and employees were acknowledging even if there wasn't much interaction. There's an old-school diner vibe to the place, and they've even got those quarter machines by the entrance where kids can grab a little toy -- a nice nostalgic touch. My husband and I ordered the single smash combo plus an additional single smashburger, so we could each have a burger while sharing the fries and drink. I also got the Frisco sauce on the side. For drinks, we went with the brewed iced tea (they have sweet and unsweet), though there's also a soda fountain for those who want soda. They also offer milkshakes, which their signage claims are rated #1 by Zagat -- we didn't try one this visit, but it's definitely on the list for next time! We found a booth and sat down, and within 5 minutes our food was ready. There were a few other patrons in the restaurant as well, and there was plenty of seating. The burger was great, and the fries were skinny-ish and also delicious. The Frisco sauce was great on both the burger and the fries, IMO. We'll be back when the smashburger craving hits -- this place is tasty and reasonably priced!
