I always order a large with french fries extra crispy at the Lake Worth location I must say the french fries were delicious, but I barely got by half of the large threw it in the trash. We had an excellent lunch here. They have a number of specials and combos, and it was hard to select from among them. During the week, they have combos that are even more reasonably priced. You order (and pay) at the counter, and they bring your food to you. Drinks are self-serve as are some of the toppings. My husband got their lunch foot-long hot dog combo. The grilled dog really was quite long. He requested mustard and chopped onions on it. The crinkle cut fries were well done. He liked both more than enough to say he'd order this again. I got their small (7") cheesesteak sandwich. I didn't get it as a combo -- knowing I'd be stealing some fries from my husband's plate). Instead of onions, I got it with mushrooms and sweet green peppers. And I chose provolone for my cheese. The bread was packed with grilled steak. I really liked my cheesesteak! It was a tad greasy and absolutely delicious. The only thing I would do differently next time is not get the mushrooms (there are other toppings from which to choose) as they are not fresh, but canned. I really love their sandwich. The Philly cheese 9 inches long yes with peppers onions and cheese is one of the best things I've ever eaten. Onion rings and french fries are hot and tasty as well. This is not a fancy place, but they do have some tables where you can sit and enjoy your sandwich. The staff is gracious. The one in Boca is a bit small. The one in Lake Worth is a little roomier. I stopped in here with a friend to get some Philly cheese-steaks for lunch. I ordered the 9" Cheesteak Combo which comes with fries and a small drink. You have the option of steak or chicken and I chose the steak along with cheese fries. We waited while they prepared the food and then took it home to eat. I have to say I was pretty underwhelmed. The cheese-steak was okay but it was soggy and didn't have a whole lot of flavor. The cheese fries were not good. They were cold and were covered with way too much tasteless cheese. It just ended up being a big soggy mess. Based on the food I would normally have given Philly Grill three stars for just being average. However, one thing I noted as we were waiting was how dirty the place was. Most of the tables were dirty and some were really dirty (as in covered with crumbs). Clearly, it had been a while since the employees went around and wiped off any of the tables. I also noted that the area behind the counter where the food preparation was done also looked very unclean. I would have taken some pictures of this but one of the employees was already asking me what I was taking pictures for. Because of how dirty the place looked, I am reducing their review by one star. It just shouldn't be acceptable for restaurants not be clean regardless of the quality of the food. FYI The Philly Grill had Braveheart playing on its multiple TVs throughout the restaurant. I'm not sure playing a graphic movie like this one is appropriate for a restaurant. The scene that was on while I was there was the one in which Mel Gibson's guts were being ripped out. Bon Appétit! I have been dining here for over 5 years now and I have to say, since they've changed management it is not the same. Every time we come we order double meat on our cheesesteaks (an extra $4.50) on top of the $11 and some change it costs to purchase the sandwich and they're ALWAYS skimping on the meat. My husband knows that they do this so checked our sandwiches to make sure there was in fact double meat and there was not. He brings the sandwich back in to ask for the double meat and they refuse so I call when he gets home. I spoke to the "Manager" who then explained that a cheesesteak is supposed to have "lettuce, onions, mushrooms, and peppers" so if all I order is onions, the meat may look a bit light. What sense does that make? I didn't ask for suggestions, I simply ask that I get what I paid for. I then asked that she provide me a refund to which she states she is unable to refund my original payment method and that i'll have to come in for cash - however when I asked for her name she refused to give it to me. Shitty service and shitty attitudes will get you no where. We won't be back. read more

I feel that everything could have been a bit cleaner. The condiment area was sticky. The soda machine was leaking. Everyone who used it had soda dripping on their hand. It wasn't pretty. I didn't find the staff to be very helpful or friendly. You order and pay at the counter and someone runs your food out to you. Prices were high for what it is, in my opinion anyway. They are known for their philly cheese steaks and everyone but my friend and I seemed to be ordering them. I think we ordered the wrong thing because the people sitting next to us absolutely loved theirs and people were in and out picking up take-out orders. I didn't see anyone send anything back which is a good thing. Everyone around us seemed to be regulars and looked very happy with their meals. It's a shame when a $9 per hour employee who hates their job takes their frustrations out on the customer. I called in for a pick up order. The girl who answered the phone asked me to hold on. 10 minutes go by I am still on hold while driving to their store. I arrive at the store now on hold for 11 min. I enter the store and advise the girl that I was left on hold for 10 min. I just figured I'd let them know as a courtesy. Not only does she not apologize, she rolls her eyes at me and tells me I was not on hold for 10 min. I said so then I am lying about being on hold?? She again rolls her eyes and mumbles something under her breath. I asked for her name so I could advise someone in management, she said she does not need to give me her name. She then asked me to leave or she would call the cops. I have a family of (6) we used to order from here at least 3 times a month with an average bill of $70 to $100 each time. That money is now gone from the owners pocket all because this girl who obviously hates her job and has no clue how to treat a customer. I'm sure she will embellish this story in effort to save her job once someone from management reads this. In the meantime you lost a customer and from the looks of the other reviews on here someone better act to save this place. Tonight (Monday), they have a special of BOGO Cheesesteaks with the order of a side. Well we ordered 6 steaks and 3 sides, costs $50. We got cheese fries which were good (would have liked more cheese), and mozzarella sticks which were surprisingly delicious. I called ahead for pick-up, they said it would be 5 minutes, that seemed a bit too fast so I told them it would take me 20 minutes to get there, waited another 15 once arriving but food was fresh and hot. I did have to ask for a decent sized ramekin for the cherry peppers, but it wasn't an issue. Everybody enjoyed the sandwiches. I got marinara with provolone and it was scrumptious. Definitely will be doing this more often. Tuesday's special is 2 for $23, it's 2 sandwiches, 2 sides, and 2 drinks for $23. Can't beat it. read more

There are lots of options on the menu for versions of cheesesteak, chicken or burgers plus cold sandwiches, hot dogs and chicken tenders. The cheesesteak was prepared exactly as ordered. It was served hot and not too greasy. They import special bread from Amoroso's Bakery in Philadelphia. They have a couple of other locations plus a food truck. Everything here is cooked to order. It is not quick serve assembly line food, so be prepared to wait 10 or so minutes for the meat to cook on the grill after you have ordered. read more
