This place was crowded on a Wednesday for dinner. There's a live band playing on the patio. When you walk in, there's a counter you order your food at and get a pager for them to bring you your food out. We shared a large salad and a Big John pizza. It was the only pizza I saw that had pineapple. I am a pineapple on pizza person. You can create your own pizza but I feel like their creations should already be perfected. But I picked the jalapeño off the pizza. It was way too hot. That was the perfect amount of food for 2 to share. It probably could've feed a family. We can put food away. My husband ordered a beer at the bar and said their house brew was good. This place is cool, but definitely loud. There's an arcade in the back that you can pay for. You're not really waited on here, you make your own soft drinks and get your own cutlery and plates. We spent under $30 for dinner and a beer so that's a win! read more

The wood fired pizza here is off the hook! I ordered the S2 with 4 cheeses. Others had pepperoni and mushroom. The crust is light and the tomato sauce is delicious. One pizza = 8 slices. Went out of way on a road trip on Wednesday, July 5 at 6:00pm and doors were locked and no note on door regarding an emergency or anything. Was noted open on Wednesdays on Yelp and on door hours. We got detours sue to traffic and needed some dinner. We always try to find a brewery with food on our trips and this place did not disappoint. My wife and I both enjoyed their beer that we had and the pizza was delish. The bartender was super sweet and friendly and have great suggestions. Only thing missing was a sticker. Really good pizza. I can't believe I haven't rated this place yet, as many times as I've eaten here. Good wings too. Beer is pretty eclectic, so be prepared to test your boundaries. A little loud with all the concrete floors and no sound deadening, but the food is really good. You'll enjoy it, go try it out! read more

I visited Cherokee last Thursday night, and I liked some things about it and others things less. The positive? The restaurant is large and quite open and modern. It also had a lot of outdoor seating for nice days. They also offer quite a lot of beers, which was nice. I was able to try something I'd never had before (I don't live in Georgia and can't Georgia beers that often!). The less positive? The pizza really wasn't very good. The dough/crust was really the problem for me. It was fine. But if I'm ever back in Dalton, I'd probably drink and hang but not eat. read more

so we tried 5 different pizzas, appetizers and the donut type things for dessert...it's safe to say we had it all:) Let me start by saying everything was GREAT but the real star is the pizza! I would have given this spot 5 stars but you can only order one size pizza...which is good and bad...it's good because you can try allot of different pies but bad because if you know what you want you'll need to order like 5 of them to get enough to feed everyone. The best pizzas where the meat ones IMO, the BIG I think and maybe another called Buddys but all them were good. Also those dough nut type bites with powder sugar and nutella for dipping were fantastic!! The pizza and wings were pretty good, my whole family had an awesome time. They have arcade games, 8 dollars per person, it's worth every penny. I wish I could give a review of the food, but unfortunately, we were turned away. We got into town late this evening and hadn't eaten all day so we decided we'd take the 15 minute walk with our little girl to eat since there wasn't anything else close to choose from. Yelp shows the hours as open until 11:00 pm, so we had plenty of time. We got to the restaurant at 9:10 pm. The door showed they closed at 10:00 pm, no problem, still plenty of time. We walk in to the bustling restaurant eager to finally eat after our 6 hour drive. It smelled delicious as we stood waiting for about 5 minutes after deciding what we wanted. A guy with long dark hair happened to walk by only to announced, "we're closed". Confused, as the restaurant was full of patrons and only 9:15pm, we inquired about the closing time. He informed us that on the tattered paper taped to one of the doors it says 9:30pm... and that Yelp and the doors imprinted hours were not correct. But, you just said, 9:30?...it's 9:15. He replied, " I've already shut down the kitchen". I've been in the hospitality business for 30+ years and it is common courtesy to seat guests up until- nine THIRTY. Perhaps we didn't look like someone who would spend much money or be a good tipper, so why bother allowing us to eat. We had traveled all day in the car and had on sweat pants, T-shirts' and flip flops. We were tired and hungry. I loved this place! Came on a Wed night about 5:45 and had plenty of seats to choose from. Place was FULL and no tables left by 6:20 or so, so thrilled we go there early enough. Live music started at 7. I ordered the Hot Mess Chick and the pesto sauce is AMAZING! I added mushrooms and ate the entire thing. Had their own beer- Blueberry Wheat and it was so delicious. After tastes of blueberry pancakes- so good! The pizza came out FAST! And you order at the bar for drinks, and they were quick too. Really loved the order at counter arrangement for everything, it made things faster and I got exactly what I wanted. This is some of the best pizza I've had (I had the MEAT pizza - it has a catchier name but I can't remember); it was also nice to be able to walk in and order immediately (they bring it to your table). They have large picnic type tables for large party seating outside and large spaces inside. The only reason it got 4 instead of 5 was it's Beer selection. Chattanooga (very close by) has some of the best microbreweries in the south, along with Nashville... I'm not sure what was going on but everything handed to me to sample (which was a plus - thank you for that) tasted like sweet cider until finally I was light just give me the one you said was like Bud Light... not my fav but it doesn't taste like sugar, fruit beer..... but on the whole I would 100% go back and hope to one day! read more
