OP a divey* bar off Walnut in Dalton. And- NO OYSTERS. (Insert emoji). was v v disappointing. The fried shrimp and green beans came in alright. Certainly v cool was the friendly energetic bartender, forget her name ;) STAFF TRULY OUTSTANDING The tastiness, flavors, and staffs' hard work gets thrown out the windows, w the filthy cigarette smoke stench overhang, sadly :( They'd be doin themselves a huge service if they cordoned off part of their expansive pad for Non-smokers; Do everyone a favor and leave the immediate bar area smoke free. Thanks to Yelp, this was a very nice find! We stopped in for a quick bite on our way through town. This is located very near the Harley Davidson store, and near the interstate. The oysters tasted fresh and very good. The wings were delicious, but they were over salted...not to the point of complaining, but definitely to the point that one would want to drink more. The drinks are poured with a heavy hand, and the draft beer is cold. Perfect combo with the salty, but otherwise delicious wings. The floor is sticky, and it looks like a bar. At lunchtime on Saturday it was not crowded, and no one was smoking, although ashtrays are visible on the tables. I'd come back. Oysters on the half shell 12/$9.... Oh yeah read more

I happened to be staying across the street at a hotel and was looking for a cold beverage after a long day traveling. My first impression was wasn't awesome seeing the establishment wasn't my normal cup of tea. Within 10 minutes of sitting down I had met nearly every local patron and the conversation was flowing. I ended up coming back three nights in a row and made some great friends in the process. The servers and service was good. I am absolutely going back for the great prices and delicious food. read more

I came here for the food but instead I got hammered and didn't eat anything at all. Next time! My bartender was awesome and took good care of me, drinks are cheap and boy is the pour here heavy! There's a lot of places to sit, chill, smoke and make fun of the bad karaoke going on. Toward the front there's a pool table, card table and adjacent box with decks for you to play games with the boys. Off to the side there's a weird unused cafeteria ish area that I presume seats people during the day... This place is the definition of divey, and if I'm ever in Dalton again I'm definitely coming back! read more

Poor excuse for a pub. You have to pay for the pleasure of their over priced bad food and watered down drinks. The place is not clean and makes you feel like you need a shower once you arrive. Do not waste your money here. read more

I found this spot on mistake and havent been dissapointed since. The staff is friendly.i have even spoken to the chef..super nice and friendly. Good wings!and trust me..i am super funny about my wings.. Tried a new dish each time. I have yet to try the oysters but that is my next thing to try and also to check out the nightlife there. read more

Well, it was a little sketchy at first glance...no one at the front to great you, stale cigarette smoke in the air, dive bar feel. Those "issues" all dissipated when we met Michon, our waitress and ate the wonderful food. I have read some of the reviews being put off with the atmosphere. Folks, I am telling you if you are that snobby that you cannot open your mind to a new experience, then do not come here and leave it to the rest of us to enjoy! I was disappointed that there were no oysters and that seems to be a recurring theme judging by the reviews. However, if the oysters are that good that they are running out or they won't serve bad oysters, that's not a bad thing. We had shrimp, my Cajun shrimp, as suggested by Michon. Sides were a very fresh house salad with amazing tomatoes and homemade blue cheese dressing and a baked potato which was baked not nuked. Mom had the fried shrimp dinner with onion rings and tater tots. Plentiful and good. I had a margarita which was also good. Would come back again. read more

I don't know how this establishment received 4 stars. It's just a dive. The first thing we noticed after we'd walked in was that there was no one to seat us. The second was the awful smell - stale cigarette smoke and wet ash trays. We turned around and left. No one even noticed. read more

I'm here on business and found this place across the parking lot. Welcoming to bikers, good food, great drink prices, awesome bartenders, and the owner is great as he has been here working every night so far. It's where the locals go. Cheap draft beer, very good wings, shrimp and of course oysters! The waitresses are awesome, but don't go here thinking it's a yuppie place... it's not! It's a bar. Pro's: eclectic crowd of regulars, very diverse, anyone is made to feel welcomed- food is good and beer is cheap- on some weekends you can catch local bands- one band (the mules) are a fav- Riverbend talent! Con's: can get smokey sometimes, restrooms could use some attention Overall, the place is fun with good people and worth a try. read more

Although I usually look for smokefree environment, my husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant/bar when traveling. The food was great especially the shrimp po boy and the mushroom swiss burger. It was bingo night so it was a little loud...but the waitstaff was very friendly. Would definately stop again if in the area. read more

We were staying at a local hotel on our way back to Ohio. We try to visit Non-Chain restaurants. Called for distance to hotel info since we wanted to walk and they said they would pick us up and take us back to our hotel when we were ready. Took them up on it. HORRIBLE SERVICE!! EXTREMELY RUDE. Ordered a simple burger and chicken tenders and waited over an hour for the food. Then once it finally came we asked for the food to be taken care off our ticket and got the run around. You know what, the wings are fantastic, the steak is really good, the beer is cold and the people are very attentive and fun. It's definitely a very casual bar type atmosphere but the food is very good and very reasonable. Prime rib special on Wednesdays that I heard is fantastic but they sell out before I can get there. Smoking is allowed inside - I am a non smoker but they try to keep the air flowing so it isn't too bad. Pool table, karaoke some nights, all in all a pretty good experience. read more

Ate at this place and definitely caught a stomach bug. The prices are great, its a little dingy but hey, what bar isn't. The staff was friendly and for $13-15 bucks you have 2 drinks and a meal.
