Pathetic calzone ... barely anything inside. Pizza is oily. Salads are OK. Very uneven service.

HORRIBLE! This was our first time at the establishment and definitely my LAST! You order at the counter they give you a number the employee taking the order did not explain that the drinks will be brought to the table. The employee that is on the floor is sweeping, she then proceeds to get our water, breadsticks and marinara sauce without changing her gloves that is really sanitary NOT. I watched her clean off a table she picked a couple glasses off the table with her fingers touching the rim of the glasses that customers have drank out of, wiping off tables and then she goes to the counter gets our order, and she NEVER changed her gloves that is absolutely disgusting. I ordered the margarita personal size pizza it was tasteless, and the dough was like rubber; it was WORSE pizza I have ever had; a frozen pizza would have been better. read more

The cheese on the pizza is tasteless and chews like rubber. I don't think it is pure cheese. The pizza toppings were very dry and also tasteless. I used to really think Gondolier Pizza was the best but I won't be buying one from them (South Thornton) anymore. read more

When I walked into the establishment I was greeted by friendly service that was also knowledgeable of their menu. As I when to my seating, I noticed that all of the tables were cleanly and the tv's were tuned to modern entertainment. The decoration of the restaurant really set the vibe for the dining experience I had. The pizza I ordered definitely wasn't scarce of its toppings as I could barely get it separated from the other slices. Plates and cups were actually clean compared to the other franchiser in the local area. Definitely coming back sometime soon. read more

Order a kids chicken fettuccine Alfredo and get it with no chicken. Always pick at drive thru and still manage to ask for tip, at least get it right if you're gonna ask for a tip. They are quick to get the order right but this isn't the first time they've forgotten the chicken on my plate. This is about the 3rd of fourth time. I understand people have off days but if you're paying for something, then you should at least receive the item. read more

If there was a negative star I would select it!!!! This place has been my favorite spot for years.....but Slowly and sadly the quality and service have decayed. I called in a "To Go" order (Wings and Greek Salad) but when I arrived 35 minutes later I was informed that they had to cook my wings. Hey no problem I thought stuff happens,so. I patiently waited for around 20 minutes but while I waited I tried to gain the attendant(s) attention to add some of the delicious ranch dressing to no avail. Finally my order was ready and shoved into my window so fast I missed my opportunity to asked for extra ranch dressing. Ooh well I guess I really didn't need it anyway! So... when I get home and open my wings...to my shock they looked like chicken knuckles.. see pics Okay.....please fix before it's too late!!! Anyone else notice this? read more

My wife and I were in town for an event. We did a search and Gondolier Pizza came and decided to try it. I had Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, it was great and my wife had the Penne Rigata. The serving size was plenty, we both could not finish the whole meal. One thing we look for is the attention of the servers, if we need to ask for drink refills or in this case more bread sticks then the service is not up to speed. We did not need to ask because they took care of us. read more

Just ordered a steak subway and it almost had no steak on it this is not the first time this has happen i am at work and i am unable to go an get this fixed since i work 12 hour shifts. The other restaurant located at Cleveland Hwy is a lot better . read more

This is our favorite Sunday restaurant we always have a good meal and good service, the restaurant is always full but we still get a seat and the waitresses do a great job of getting our drinks full The food is always hot and tasty and prepared well read more

The service was horrible. Once I got my wings the "sauce" was nothing but a dry rub and GREASE!! That's NOT wing sauce. If I wanted to eat pure grease I would have went to the heart attack shack where it's EXPECTED if I could give zero stars I would! I've had much better at better prices. Food is average, if that. I had the baked spaghetti with meat sauce and Italian sausage, bruschetta and a salad with Italian dressing. Spaghetti was very dry with no meat but the sausage. Bruschetta was a roll with cheese and diced tomatoes...should have been hard-toasted bread. Italian dressing was a creamy Italian, not really oil-and-vinegar Italian, and tasted like it came out of a bottle of cheap dressing. Tomato wedge was a hard, hothouse tomato, not fresh off the vine. I spent $24 for my meal, which should have cost 1/2 as much. For that price I would have expected to order from a menu at the table, rather than the counter. On the good side, the service was excellent, even though I did not see a single Italian working there...you would have expected it to be run by Italians. read more

Before opening the new restaurant this was by far the best pizza in town. Since the new restaurant opened in the old Hardees location the pizza (carryout) has been terrible...Over cooked & taste old as if it has been warmed over for several days...We tried several times in case just a bad experience but has consistently bad on the last 4 occassions. Not sure if its a different cook or cutting back based in increased overhead with more employees and new location...Hoping something will change as we miss the old gondliers but too expensive to keep getting bad pizza! read more

Probably one of the worst places I have ever eaten lasagna. My spouse got a gyro which was delicious, but their lasagna was disgusting. The noodles were mush, when I asked the server about it she just ignored it away until we asked for a manager. The lady who came over was not management and stated they were not there. She took the plate away and would not even entertain the idea of checking the noodles. She stated over and over that no one else had complained about them and they were fine. She finally offered us 25% off our next visit. Needless to say we have not been back nor do we plan to. read more

Great Manicotti and Calzones and of course the best pizza in town. Also the sweet tea is great Andy husband likes the Philly cheesesteak.
