This place was just decent at best. The pizzas were very fairly priced, but they were very doughy and extremely undercooked. A new favorite place for me in downtown Dalton, in a converted warehouse. Solid beer selection: my group went with a pitcher of the Nut Brown Ale. Everyone was thumbs up. But the pizza was better. We got the triple meat pizza, cheese pizza, and buffalo wings. The crusts were light with flavor, the sauce was outstanding, rich and flavorable. We were impressed with the cheese--nice and gooey. Fresh, plentiful ingredients. Everything fired quickly in the oven. I would not go back for the wings--but they complimented the pizza perfectly. This is the best pizza we've ever had! The barbecue is to die for. If your not in the mood for it we love the Whig and the cheese pizza.

The pizza is absolutely to die for. As for my experience for first time visitor. There wasn't much leaving me to want another visit regardless of how good the food was. Props to the kitchen for quick food and delicious taste. Had a beer at bar and bartender seems like he doesn't have an ounce of care for customer service. I mean at least ask me how are you today? How's your food? Do you need anything else? Nope, you'll get a male bartender browsing their phone refusing to make any eye contact. Someone needs to talk to the young man. So sad when customer service has gone. Anyways, food n beer is great. But atmosphere leaves nothing worth coming back for. read more

We were in the area for school and decided pizza and beer was the way to go. Their beer selection was extensive and very satisfying. Even had one of my favorites - Allagash. The pizza and salads were also delicious. They had live music on the Patio. And sitting at the bar, we could hear perfectly. Great atmosphere! The only critique is that until the hostess told the bartenders that we needed refills, the bartenders pretty much ignored us. Finally we were able to get the guy bartender to realize we needed help and he was more attentive. Overall I would definitely come back! read more

This place is ok. I wouldn't choose to go back, but if someone asked me to meet them there I would go. It's loud, so it's not ideal for conversation, and it's self serve--you wait in line to order, make and refill your own drinks (and the coke was out of order today), and get your own plates/silverware. They do bring your food to your table, but salads and appetizers came out with our pizza so there's no attempt at coordinating your courses should you want to eat your salad before your pizza. The pizza was ok. I had the marge with extra cheese, and I liked the fresh garlic on it but there was very little sauce. My children and I thought the pizzas could have been cooked a little longer. Close to closing time, I was offered a seat at the bar. The large selection of beers made interesting reading the first three or four times it cycled across the screen. I should have asked to move down so I could watch the Braves. Beer not really my thing and I had a bit of a drive ahead of me after a long day. Interesting pizza combinations on the menu with the requisite funky names. I ordered my own combination which came out well. The crust was delicious, thin, well cooked and flavorful. This looks like a fun place for a group, looks like live music on the weekends. Will have to return with friends. Anywhere they have Cheerwine in the soda machine is alright by me. read more

Good pizza and great beer selection. Their IPA they brew was really good and we really liked the atmosphere. If you like wine then you must try the frozen Rose'....SO good. This restaurant is absolutely assbackwards. When you enter the building, you're forced to order at a counter much like you're at McDonald's, there's no thinking about or considering what you're going to have since there are other patrons lined up behind you trying to get in the as well. If you want a beer which one might find appealing since you're at a brewery you're forced to go to the bar to order that. The evening that we went we decided to get each get a second beer at the midpoint of our meal. Upon returning to our table, we discovered that one of the bussers had discarded our food. There we were wondering where our food had gone with WTF looks on our faces when a food runner came over and asked if something was wrong. I proceeded to tell him what happened, and his response was, yeah, that can happen if no one stays at the table. Eventually he got a manager to come over and I got basically the same response from the manager without any offer to redo our order. read more

To get the drawbacks over with, the Cherokee is oppressively overcrowded and noisy on weekend nights. Don't go during peak dinner hours and expect to not have to wait, or to hear what your companions are saying. How it works: you pick up your own drinks, plates and silverware... they have waiters and waitresses, but all they do is drop off your food... it sometimes feels inappropriate/weird to be leaving a full tip. If you need something, you have to go looking for someone or grab someone in passing... no one is going to be checking on you. That being said, the food is great! Lots of pizza toppings available, hand tossed crusts... I love their salads... beet salad... mmmmm. Their tea is always good and their soda machines have pebble ice. They have a ton of alcohol choices, great beers. I really enjoy going for a late lunch. They have a lunch special that is awesome... you get an individual-sized salad and 2-topping pizza. In warmer weather, the outdoor seating is nice. read more

EXCELLENT!!! We had a great time and met fun locals. We do recommend sitting at the bar. It is full service. If not, you order at the counter, and have to go to the bar for any drinks. Our waiter David was awesome and very helpful with our beer and food selections. The bruschetta was alright. The traditional buffalo wings were awesome and a bit spicy. Really enjoyed this place. Dalton needed this! Spacious and great for groups or small parties. Great service. Live music was awesome. And they have a large beer selection with tons of IPAs! What amazing pizzas. We had Buddys Big Meats and the BIGs. Had a salad to get started. Def a place we will return to often. Outside patio seating was just what we needed for a great Saturday lunch. The inside would be a great atmosphere for an evening at the bar. read more

Beer was delicious. My grandparents loved it!! I went in for some beer to-go while visiting my grandparents. I told them I was walking so they helped me out by MacGyvering a cooler for me (beer in a bag of ice) I ended up grabbing a cinnamon pie too, it was delicious. It's made with their pizza crust and they add cinnamon and icing to it, kinda like a sweet and salty cinnamon bun that's on the crispy side. I'll definitely come back when visiting Dalton read more

Am working in dalton for the week and someone suggested this place. Definitely a nice find in this small town. They brew their own beer. I had major's pale ale that was excellent and only 3$. I had "the cap" pizza which is just the right size for one person (that usually eats a lot). Set up is good with long bar and plenty of TVs for football season. I plan on coming back a couple more times this week and definitely for football on Saturday and Sunday read more
