Also worth noting, they are a food stand operating just outside a Valero/Liquor store, and only serve there on Friday and Saturday afternoons. Moving on... The operations consist of a seasoned pitmaster father and his son, serving up the same quality BBQ they have been for years now, just now to a new audience. They're always generous with their accompaniments, and it never takes long to get your plates and be on your way. As for the food, it's proper delicious BBQ. Their style is a smokey but very moist brisket kept warm in a fatty sauce, and it makes for some very, very good sandwiches. But our favorite thing on the menu is their XL Chicken Leg Quarters smoked to a tender finish, with skin that is neither rubbery nor dry. I would happily come here just for that. Today (February 12, 2017), my family and I visited your store as we usually do but we encountered a flustered employee. She never greeted us but ignored that lack of customer service and continued to ask for the price on your popcorn bags since the prices are usually on your monitor. She replied "I don't know the prices" I then asked if she could find out the price for me and she said "look at it" as she pointed to the monitor which then I said "it's not working" She gave me a dirty look and that's when I said "you don't have to give me attitude" Her response was "I'm not giving you attitude, I don't know the prices because they constantly change and I don't know them" Her co worker tried to calm her down but she said "you don't have to help her" When I asked if I could speak to a manager, she replied with "contact them" as she pointed to the flyer and here I am, contacting both of you. I am not one to complain but as a constant customer (I was planning on buying the refillable tin, since we go often) I felt it was important for you to know what is going on at your store. I asked her name but of course she refused to give it to me "I don't have a name" was her response. As she was yelling, your other employee tried to tell me but she was so loud I could not hear clearly. My 4 year old was shocked to see such behavior and asked why someone would be so disrespectful . It was definitely a teachable moment but not one I would've liked for her to experience. I have never felt such horrible customer service in my life and hope this doesn't happen to anyone who visits your wonderful popcorn store. I must say popcorn is pretty delicious and we used to visit anytime we were in Dallas. We have been to Dallas many times and have now taken our business elsewhere:(
