Subsequently, they serve a dish that includes four pork skins and eight yuca. A picture of the $12 entree is included. Last time I was here I got pupusas de chicharrón and they are GOOD AF. The only thing my opinion that they REALLY need to improve on is the curtido and the tomate salsa! I had also ordered a torta de fajita and it was honestly really good, would definitely order again and come back! read more

This was an incredible Pupusa experience. It was my first time to eat pupusas, and I loved it. Everything was fresh and handmade. It is perfectly priced, and I'll be going there probably next week because I loved it so much. I ordered three pupusas: chicken, steak, and pork with a side of rice. Delicious!!! The Food: The chicken tamales were so mushy that they were the consistency of baby food. I could not eat them. The corn tamales were dry. The pupusas were ok. The Service: One person's food was brought out on another person's plate. The person who did not receive their own plate asked the waitress why they were combined. The waitress said she would bring another plate (didn't answer why). The person who received both dinner's food picked up the other dinner's food to move it to the 2nd plate. The dinner who now had the other person's hands all over their food told the waitress to take it back. The waitress did not take it back and didn't seem to understand why it was a problem. Eww. My food came out on several plates. I ordered a pupusa, a taco and a tamale. Each item came out on a separate styrofoam plate. Talk about killing the environment and taking up too much table space! One dinner only received one tamale (she ordered 2). She had to notify the waitress when she was finished with one to receive the other. One waitress could be seen eating her own food at the cash register, while talking to customers, between serving tables. When we went to pay, they had lost our ticket. This was not a big deal, but it did add to the already bad impression of the waitress. The Atmosphere: This place is tiny, which is fine. It's very casual. The tables however, only fit 4 adults and you'll be elbow to elbow. They also have a sign indicating that they are hiring FEMALE waitresses who are FROM El Salvador. Was visiting the area from LA and wanted pupusas. Pupusas were full and big, a meal in itself. Only problem was order was wrong. Wanted cheese only pupusa. I got cheese and beans. I am a big fan of hole on the wall restaurants and I happen to pass by the restaurant and to top it all of, I also love pupusas. Great variety of both salvadorian and some mexican food. I love the fact that they have spinach pupusas. Tiny place, hence hole on the wall but decent. Food took a little bit longer but they made the pupusas fresh so it is understandable. After coming here many years I've never had a problem placing an order to go. I would usually call it in and pay once I pick up my order. Today I called and a young lady answered and I told her my order and she said she couldn't take it in until I made a payment over the phone. I told her I was driving at the moment so I couldn't get my info but that I will pay once I pick it up. She then proceeded to say very rudely that they couldn't start my order until I gave her my card number so whenever I was able to pull over to give her a call back. I can't even describe my wife's Horchata. She tossed it. The pupusas were extreme meh. Pupuseria Lillian's does it better and they have unbelievable red and green sauces. This wonderful hole-in-the-wall restaurant is very close to my house and has become my go to spot for pupusas. They are always freshly made and delicious! I definitely recommend the Revueltas (pork, cheese & bean) as well as the Queso & Loroco. Both are excellent. If you aren't familiar with Salvadoran food and want to try a bit of everything, go for the Plato Tipico. You get a pupusa, a chicken tamale, fried yuca, fried plantains, beans and garnishes like salsa and curtido (Salvadoran slaw). Also we just tried the Carne Guisada and it's as good as everything else!! Very tender meat with a rich gravy served with rice and tortillas (which I love because they are obviously made fresh)!! If you're in the Garland area, I highly recommend giving Rosi's a try for really great authentic Salvadoran food. read more

I had never heard of a pupusa in my life, but so glad I googled it. It was a great day when I found this place. Pupusa for those that don't know what it is, think of a corn bread pancake stuffed with cheese, beans, or meat inside. It is so good. This place is a Salvadoran restaurant that makes everything from scratch. They hand squeeze a variety of juices every day and make everything they sell with love. They menu behind the counter is not in english. Please note to get their menu for dine in customers; it has pictures. LOL. The staff are really friendly and helpful. They place itself is small and clean. There are no thrills and decor here. Just great food. I also had friend plantains with with black beans and sour cream. My partner got a torta and something with chicken stacks on top of a crunchy shell. It was all so yummy. If you are in the area, stop in. I am sure you won't regret it. read more

I rarely eat Salvadoran food at restaurants, as I grew up eating the real deal at home, so it's never as tasty. Therefore, I give Rosi's pupusas three stars, but upped it one because this place offers a variety of options, which is nice when you don't eat meat. Zucchini, spinach and loroco (a flower bud) are must-try varieties. The pupusas are medium-sized, not too greasy (like others that fall apart), not dry (à la Gloria's), and have a decent masa-(corn dough)-to-filling ratio. Rosi's does tend to get packed on weekends, so if you just want something to go, it's best to place your order over the phone. read more

I'm always on the prowl for a good pupuseria! Definitely one of my top ten favorite comfort foods. So seeing that Rosi's got good reviews, I thought I'd give them a try. I ordered 3 pupusas: a revuelta (pork, bean, and cheese), a spinach and cheese, and a bean and cheese, and I ordered a horchata for my drink. I got the horchata right away, and I must say it's different from the standard horchata you'd get at a Mexican restaurant. This one is brown rather than white, and it had a sweet, earthy, and slightly burnt flavor, and it immediately reminded me of the flavor of burnt rice. It wasn't unpleasant though, but I would say it's probably not for everyone. The pupusas were pretty good, I liked the bean and cheese one the best. The best Pappusas in Texas. Oh my God they were so full stuffed with cheese pork and beans. The soup are delicious too. I had the chicken soup. The broth was yummy with the veggies. I've been here numerous times and was in denial about their service being questionable to those not being Salvadoran but today it became clear. My family and I usually order over the phone so our interactions are limited; however, today after I placed a phone order well in advance the order wasn't started until after I arrived. They were not busy. I chose to purchase a drink (agua de piña) while I waited. As I waited around 10min for my food I saw 4 different people get refills on their drinks without paying again for another drink. After my order was ready I asked to also get a refill except I was told it was the full price. I relayed to the lady I had just witnessed 4 different people get a free. I asked what was the difference.....she was quite. I grabbed my food and left. Discriminating against your customers especially those that were at one point a regular is a horrible way to run a business. read more

I've been meaning to try this place for quite a while now. My boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch and had pupusas. They were fantastic, as was the service. Our server was great and told us he was excited to practice his English with us. I don't think they get too many English-speaking customers in here. I only had the cheese pupusas, but my boyfriend had spinach and cheese, beans and cheese, and pork and cheese. When I asked which one was his favorite, he said he liked them all. We didn't try any of the other Salvadoria dishes, but I may have to branch out next time. We will definitely be back when we want our pupusa fix! read more
