Dishonest, disgrace, disgusting. I went here for a smog and they tried to finesse me. They will make it seem like they're hooking you up and doing you a favor by acting like they smogging the car and checking for codes before sending any info to the DMV. BULL SHITTIN. They said my car had a bad catalytic converter and tried to sell me one of their used vehicle. When I declined, they tried to make me stay so they can call their friend to tell them to hook me up with a catalytic converter. Lucky I declined that offer too. I ended up taking my car some where and passed with flying fucken colors. I can't believe these fools. Be warned guys, they act friendly, but these fools are sketchy and doing shady ass business. Came for a smog and they told me my 2012 Acura was not going to pass smog. They gave me two options, I can either purchase a used catalytic converter through them or pay $600 to override a pass. I told them neither and they were giving me a hard time. They try to hold onto my keys and force me to pay a hook up fee but my car was just sitting there with nothing being tested yet. Went elsewhere and passed within 15 minutes. These guys are crooks. Don't recommend any c or b people to come here. read more

scammers do not go here , their price for smog says $40 if passed ( clearly mine did ALWAYS HAS ) & i was being charged more then $100 and the big guy tried scamming me telling me to pay him something on the side for " helping me out " like whaat ? isn't that your managers job to pay you and your job to help me out ? i got irritated at the end just trynna keep my cool and i ended up getting a attitude and they noticed so they knew they couldn't play me so they just charged me for the services . they thought they could overcharge just because i was a woman not knowing i know my stuff . read more

I came to Cherry Auto with my friend to check out a Civic that they had for sale. My friend was trying to buy a car but relied on me to help with the pre-purchase inspection. This shop not only does mechanical work but also sells a couple cars on the side. I talked to the owner's son, who helped us take a look at the car and told us what has been done. He said that all cars go through their own mechanical inspection to make sure that there's no significant issues before purchasing the car to sell on their lot. The son told me that they make sure that every car that they sell are reliable and will last for the new owner. He also talked to us as a customer advocate, warning us about new car dealerships because many owners scam customers by intentionally selling cars with significant underlying issues and then closing down the business in as little as two years to relocate and repeat the process. Cherry Auto has been open for a few decades, so that helped me and my friend feel more confident in our encounter. I inspected the Civic, getting underneath the engine bay to look for transmission case or oil pan leaks, checking the dipstick for oil quality/quantity/potential blown head gasket, tire tread and wear pattern, OBD codes via scanner, CarFax, etc. The son let me test drive the car and encouraged me to use everything to make sure nothing was malfunctioning. Everything checked out aside from minor cosmetic issues, old tires, and one blown fuse; all easily replaceable or repairable. Then came the negotiation phase. I listed the things that needed fixing/replacing on the Civic and asked for a lower price. The son was fair and cordial during this process, agreeing with the things I pointed out and worked with us to get a good price. He even helped factor in the cost of taxes and registration. No BS, great! Once we agreed on a price, the owner and son also offered registering the car to the DMV for us for a very reasonable price. Super convenient and made the car purchase process much smoother. My friend was ecstatic on finally getting a good, reliable car that met his budget. Weeks later he reported no issues with the car other than the blown cigarette lighter fuse, which I had tons of spares for and fixed in a minute. The owner and son at Cherry Auto has made the car purchase experience so pleasant, and I am very thankful for that. They never upsold anything, lied, or displayed any suspicious behavior. I bought my 2006 Subaru Forester from these guys, was promised the car was mechanically sound and had been completely inspected for any issues. After a week of having the car my clutch blows out, which they did not warn me of. I contacted the shop and they agreed to do the labor no charge and as long as I pay for the parts. Once that was fixed the next problem occurred. After 2 months of having the car the brakes needed to be replaced, and I had to replace the rear passenger shock as well as the AC went out. Right there I have had 4 issues with the car and had barely put 1,000 miles on the thing. After putting in $1500 into my car I was moving to Illinois and began driving the car there. When I made it to Utah a piece of my engine block blew off and my car is now not driveable. This is all within a matter of 4 months of me purchasing the car and barely even put 4,000 miles on that car. These guys can not be trusted as they completely took advantage of me when I was buying this car. DO NOT BUY ANY CARS OR GET ANY SERVICE DONE HERE!!!! Do NOT trust ANYTHING these guys say, they will waste your time and lie to you. I was interested in a car they had for sale, I called and spoke to the son of the owner. We agreed to make an offer after getting the car inspected. So we drove all the way from orange ready to buy the car and he changes his mind and says we can't take the car DOWN THE STREET to get its condition verified. What a bad way to run a business. This was a waste of my time, and my family that had to drive me down there for them to pull a 180 and change their minds.
