Very professional, clean and on time. Plus they fixed the other electrical contractors mistake for less than the other one charged me.

They committed to improve the experience for other customers and gave me an appropriate discount for my time and inconvenience. I am grateful they are responsive and took this seriously. Thank you for your respect, Dr. Energy Saver! Previous 2-star Review: Unfortunately, this has been a very difficult experience for me to address standing water & drainage in my crawl space. I agreed to work with Dr. Energy Saver back in October, hoping to have the work done before the rains started. However, the work was just completed on December 31. The communication of the team was absolutely horrible - with each of the team members understanding that my project was at different points. I was told it was done multiple times - with the piping above-ground, and an alarm that was supposed to be installed still in the box. Brandon and his team finally got it figured out and did a great job communicating, but there was still confusion between the manager, Sean, and the office staff, who even threatened via phone to put a lean on my home, even though I had been calling and emailing them about the poor work and needing to get the installation completed. Grateful to Brandon for his work, and his respectfully addressing my concerns and caring about me as a customer. I would highly recommend him and his crew. However, the rest of the team really needs to get their communication and customer service addressed - it's very draining (pun intended) to have to manage and check the work you're paying someone else to complete.

It is important to note that Sean did an extremely good job of explaining my options and he made no attempt to "oversell" me or to get me to make a decision. It was refreshing to deal with an ethical company that was more interested in providing information than in selling m something I did not need.

My wife and I are first-time home buyers-- an objectively stressful experience. We found what…read moreamounts to our dream home, got our offer accepted, and our realtor recommended Tabor NW (specifically Zach) to perform the inspection on the home. We weren't too worried as, through the showings, the home seemed to be very well maintained. Zach stopped by the home to perform the inspection and confirmed that the home was in great condition, but as with all homes, there were maintenance, repair, and installation recommendations. Going through the home buying process, we had more than our fair share of questions and clarifications, but Zach blew us away. The evening following the inspections, Zach sent us a thorough and detailed narrative of his findings. We expected to read over it, have no clue what half of it meant, and then have to have the inspector and our realtor disseminate all of it. We were ab-so-lutely wrong. Zach not only gave us recommendations on what we should have repaired, maintained, or installed, but he laid out where any issues were individually located (with photos and diagrams), whether or not repairs and maintenance should be done personally or by a professional, and best of all, it was all presented in simple, easy to understand terminology. We had no questions, no stresses, and full peace-of-mind following Zach's inspection. It is entirely clear why Tabor NW was recommended to perform our home inspection. Thank you, Zach!

Update following the company's response:…read more I want to clarify one point raised in the owner's reply so readers understand the concern accurately. Yes, I mentioned that I would prefer the panels be placed on the rear of the home if possible. That was simply an aesthetic preference and not a design requirement. I relied on the company's expertise to determine whether that placement would still allow the system to reasonably meet the goals discussed during the sales process. I also want to be clear that the system functioning is not the issue. We appear to agree that the equipment is producing energy as designed. The production numbers themselves have never been what I questioned. The concern I raised relates to how the system size and expectations were presented during the sales process. When we explored going solar, the conversations centered around offsetting most or all of our electric bill, which was the primary reason we decided to move forward with a $20,000 installation. If it had been clearly communicated that the system was intended to be a smaller "starter system" that would only offset a portion of our electricity usage, we likely would have approached the decision differently or waited until we had a longer utility history available. Another important point is that no written proposal or modeling documentation outlining the assumed household usage or projected offset was ever provided prior to signing. Because those design assumptions were never shared with us in writing, it has been difficult to understand how the system size was determined relative to our expected energy needs. As a result, we are now paying a monthly solar loan while still carrying a meaningful electric bill, which is not the outcome we understood or expected when making this investment. At this point, I have shared my experience and clarified the concerns raised. I do not intend to continue a public back-and-forth discussion on this review. My purpose in posting this update is simply to provide context so other homeowners researching solar know to request clear written modeling and offset assumptions before making a significant investment.

During the installation, they drilled through a structural beam in a way that created an inspection problem and ultimately cost me **several thousand dollars in additional structural engineering work** to get the project approved. Now we're in the **very first summer this cooling system has actually been used**, and it has already broken. I contacted them expecting them to stand behind their work, and they are refusing to fix it. So, to recap: their installation created a costly structural problem during construction, and now the brand-new cooling system they installed has failed during its first season of use -- and they won't take responsibility for repairing it. I genuinely don't leave bad reviews often, but this has been an extraordinarily frustrating and expensive experience. I would absolutely not use this company again.
