One of the salesmen was assisting the customer with his firearm purchase. The other salesman was sitting behind the counter eating his lunch. He completely ignored me, despite me standing there with the pistol rugs in my hand and ready to pay. He never bothered to acknowledge my presence or ask if I needed help. I know that he saw me because he looked directly at me. When he finished eating he got up, threw his plastic fork in the trash and walked in the back while still never interacting with me. It was like I was completely invisible. Finally, another sales person came out from the back and asked if I was being helped. I said no, finally paid for my purchase, and left. I wonder what the store owner/manager would have to say if he reviewed the surveillance video.

Bought targets for $1/ea which is also fine. Clean, nice range. The folks there, including the gentleman at the front door, were very polite. I was hesitant to go to Mega Sports based on some of these negative reviews herein but my experience was completely opposite. Look, there policy is a FOID card to enter. So be it. Illinois is a pain and requires FOID cards. In fact, you can't buy guns/ammo without so what's the point of going to these types of stores in IL without a FOID if you can't buy anything anyway without a FOID. I mention because this was an argument of many. I am happy to go back to this place. Range is perfect particularly for the competitive price. I did not price check guns or ammo (no time, no need at that moment). Try the place for yourself, I think you will be pleased.

I explained that I was the purchaser and that my cousin had only called to check availability while I was at work, but the sale was still denied.
