Great mall. I love that this mall is so close to Center City Philly. So many stores to choose from. I went yesterday with my fiancé and we shopped so much for 8 hours! We are NOT shoppers but this was fun. We ate at CPK, food court and got refreshments from Dunkin and Red Mango. I bought some clothes from Express and Macy's and a home decor from JC Penney. I also checked out Aldo, Banana Republic, and the Disney store. The mall was not crowded. It was a nice environment. read more

Cherry Hill Mall wants to be upscale, but ends up missing the mark. The mall is broken up between two parts. One seems to appeal to those with more money than common sense, the other side feels tacked on with a handful of the standard chains for those who still work for a living. I find it hard to imagine either group would be satisfied. The more expensive stores aren't nearly snooty, or elitist enough to give the smug sense of satisfaction and superiority that the upscale customers want. The tacked on stores for the rest of us simply lack the variety to provide a fulfilling mall experience. It's an utterly forgettable mall. In the attempt to appeal to too many demographics it fails to really provide for anyone. It's worth a walk through if you're in the area and bored, but it's on the smaller side and you probably won't find anything to keep you coming back. read more

Tonight I was thoroughly impressed when my meal. I had the Wood-Grilled Chicken Breast, which is served with a wonderful citrus butter sauce that pairs perfectly with the cinnamon mashed sweet potatoes. I literally died and went to heaven. Every bite was just divine. The fresh broccoli was also very flavorful and enjoyable. Our server Vivian was very attentive and the drinks were well done. Even the though place was relatively crowded and busy, we were seated within three minutes at a very clean table. I'll be back to try more!!! read more

If I'm going to go to the Cherry Hill Mall, I try to make sure its at the emptiest time possible (Monday morning, anyone?) To say this place can get hectic on the weekends is an understatement. Still, this place is a goldmine if you want a broad range. This is my go to mall and has been, since I was in high school. This trip was totally dedicated to sneaker shopping. For the last 3 years, my daughter has been obsessed with retro Jordan's, so we stopped by Footlocker, to make sure the new black and white #12's will be at the store on Saturday. Of course, they will but the line starts forming at 5am and the mall does not officially open until 10am. I decided, I'll drop my daughter off to stand in line, with hopes she will be able to get a pair, before they sell out. This mall has everything, from the low end affordable stores to the more upscale. You can definitely shop for any occasion and the customer service in most stores is above average. I'll always shop here as long as I live in South Jersey. read more

Now that the renovations of this mall are complete, the venue as risen from the ashes as a stronger establishment. Many more high-end stores have appeared in this mall (Nordstrom's, I am looking at you), and the new look on the inside was well-worth the wait. It's lighter and airier-- just an overall improvement. As a result, the mall is a little more crowded than I remember it being in the past, but it's worth the crowds to have some good retailers less than fifteen minutes away (instead of trucking out to KoP or Oxford Valley). Additionally, a ton of new restaurants have opened up on the southern side of the mall (Capital Grille, Bahama Breeze, etc), which I think are fantastic for the location, but an absolute atrocity for the parking on the Nordstrom/Macy's side of the mall. The parking lots that line 38 are now (almost without exception) VALET-ONLY, which is incredibly annoying if one wants to go to, for instance, Urban Outfitters. Don't expect to park on that side anytime after 4 PM; you're better off parking in the little garage and going through Nordstrom's to get to the inside of the mall. read more

This is the best mall in South Jersey. After the renovations, this mall has improved immensely and doesn't require me to drive all the way to the King of Prussia Mall for some good stores. It looks more classy now with its mosaic tiling, bright lights, and upholstered couches. It has expanded in size but is still regularly packed with people of all ages and races. There is a wide variety of stores to suit your price point. Cherry Hill Mall has pretty much everything I need. To give you an idea, some of the nicer stores include Michael Kors, BCBG Max Azria, Hugo Boss, and True Religion. If you're looking for something more affordable, they still have your go-to-stores like Forever 21, H&M, Gap, etc. There is a parking garage, which almost always has spaces available instead of having to circle around the parking lot looking for a space close to the door. It is also convenient in the winter time when you want to avoid the freezing winds. The food court, however, is extremely lacking and is in an inconvenient location all the way on the far side of the mall where JC Penney's is. I think their intention was to bring traffic over to that side of the mall since the higher end stores are closer to the Macy's end. Prior to the renovation, the side with the JC Penney's attracted rowdy middle and high school kids, was dimly lit, and was not very appealing. While it looks nicer now, the food court has limited favorable options. If you exit the mall, there are a number of nicer restaurants like Seasons 52, Maggiano's, Bahama Breeze, and California Pizza Kitchen. They are still physically attached to the mall, but there is no entrance from inside the mall. Cherry Hill Mall is located on the busy Rt. 38, so there is lots of traffic as you try to come or leave here. There is a movie theatre across Rt. 38 and more shopping and restaurants if you drive down Haddonfield Rd. If you're in South Jersey and in need of something in particular, I'm sure you will be able to find what you need at the Cherry Hill Mall. read more

07/12/18 at about 9pm we waited in line for 40 minutes and finally got to the build a bear storefront. A white female guard with long pony tails started to redirect people to get out of line in front of the store and asked them ( us) to go another line upstairs. ( up the elevator or escalator) This pointless idea created by the mall guards created a lot of frustrations because my 3 year old was crying not wanted to leave the storefront and my wife had a double stroller which made moving through a crowd of people very difficult. The female guard then caught an attitude with me when i confronted to her with the strategy , she replied do i have a better idea? Obvisiously , they didnt put much thoughts into organizing the traffic of people. The whole experience was terrible and we had to leave the mall because the line that the felmale guard was refering to was even longer wait and it backed up all the way through outside. Big mall in South Jersey with a spacious floor layout & well-designed, captivating window displays. Don't know how good/bad the food court is, will have to give that a rating next time around. Diverse selection of stores all in one convenient location, but definitely lacking a fitness-type store (Sports Authority/Modells, are you reading?) because I went venturing out looking for some fitness bands and did not find them here. read more

I've shopped at this mall since I was a kid. It's amazing how much it has changed especially recently. Restaurants galore line the mall's exterior -- you can choose from Maggiano's, Capital Grille, California Pizza Kitchen and Bobby Flay's Burger Palace to name a few. There is also a small food court inside the mall near JC Penny's. And it is a small food court compared to the food court the mall had BEFORE renovations. The Cherry Hill Bistro is also an excellent spot for lunch or dinner (it sits in the middle of the mall between Nordstrom's and Macy's where Woolworth's lunch counter was a gazillion years ago). Nordstrom demolished and rebuilt in the section that once housed Strawbridge's. Nordy's is an excellent department store for that mall to have. There is a huge variety of stores including Pottery Barn, which recently moved into the mall. read more

First up, I hate malls and only go to them when forced to. In the event I have to mall-it, Cherry Hill is my go to place. Great selection of stores and nice, newly renovated food court. Be prepared to walk as it's very spread out and a lot of up and down. As others have mentioned, avoid the place at night and on weekends unless you enjoy wading through packs of people. Only real negative, the parking lot and driving lanes are a nightmare with traffic coming from every direction, people blowing through stop signs and turning in front of you with no turn signals. Make sure your car insurance is up to date. read more

This mall has changed a lot since the 90s. PREIT took over and made it much more upscale, more like the King of Prussia Mall (also a PREIT property). Mall is L-shaped with less upscale stores on the JCPenny-Nordstrom axis and the more expensive stores along the Nordstrom-Macy's axis. Food court is now located on the bottom floor by JCPenny. I actually feel really safe coming because I always see mall security driving through the parking lot and in the mall. They are visible. This place only gets better over time. The Cherry Hill Mall is a great place to shop. After the Mall make over it is really nice. They have a lot of high and low in stores. Everyone can shop, eat, and lounge. And if you can't find a store you can go to the courtesy desk and they will help you locate what you are looking for. If you are looking for great Restaurants after shopping their are fast food ones that you can order and have a sit or you can go on the outside of the mall and try a fabulous restaurant that you can sit down and have someone wait on you. Visited here on a trip and was blown away to see a brick and mortar mall that was actually busy! And people were shopping and buying things - a rarity these days. Also many great stores in one place - pottery barn, Nordstrom, banana republic, Coach, Michael Kors, plus many many athletic and shoe stores and multiple toy stores. I generally like this mall; the store selection is perfect. However I hate going to this mall because of the overcrowded stores and some of the riff raff clientele it attracts. Unfortunately this is a higher end mall minutes away from one of the most dangerous cities in the US and it's very evident from local news reports regarding crime ranging from shoplifting to carjacking and assaults. I really like this mall; however based off of past incidents it's not very safe especially returning to your car in the evening. If you visit this mall do so during the day and be aware of your surroundings when entering and exiting the mall. read more

I do enjoy shopping at this mall. For starters that have many different stores, and they offer something for everyone. They also decorate nicely for Christmas, and this year they are doing a virtual reality based off of the movie the Christmas Story! I saw the house, and it looks almost like the real one in the movie! During the month of December they are doing multiple different types of events. If you are interested, I would look on their website for me detail. Not only does the Cherry Hill Mall do this for the holidays, it also host multiple different types of events. One time they had a wellness expo, a fashion show, had children sing karaoke, and etc. This mall gets a little crowded over the weekends so I suggest getting there early if you want a good parking spot. They have multiple different restaurants to chose from, and they are all amazing. I would defiantly check out the restaurants before you make a reservation, because they vary between price points. Overall, this mall is a great place to shop because it is clean, and provides something for everyone! read more

I didn't come back to this mall till 8 years later in 2009 and I had noticed that the mall got bigger. Twice I have been here on Christmas Eve (2010, 2015). Being a avid mall goer, I have been to malls all around the area. Cherry Hill is the BEST one, hands down. After I would say KOP. But this mall has everything I need, and isn't overwhelming like KOP. They have a good balance of stores. the food court could be better. Parking is never an issue for me, you just have to know WHERE to park. read more

This mall has stayed fairly current over the many years. I do prefer this mall over Moorestown as well. Parking is easy and there's a ton of chain places around the mall if you wanna grab some food.They keep it clean and stay up with the remodeling. read more
