Before committing to CHM in 2023, we visited several preschools in the area. I was honestly not satisfied with any of the schools I toured, until I visited CHM. Immediately I knew this was a special place for my son. And our experience here with school and summer camp have far surpassed what we had hoped for. Their school motto of "grow confidently"- really illustrates the transformation my son went through from a 2.5 year old toddler to a 5 year old boy who is confident and loves to learn now. The teachers are outstanding- they really love kids and love teaching kids to embrace and enjoy learning. The administrative staff ( Ms. Kerri & Ms. Janine) are amazing and make you feel at ease and that we were part of their family . We will forever love and be a huge advocate for this school !! read more

If I could post 0 stars, I would. If you love your child, do not send them to this 'school'. We sent our child here and had to take her out after half a year. There were multiple incidents of bullying and/or kids just misbehaving and the school not handling those situations properly. I had no false hope that every kid would act like an angel 100% of the time and believe I was realistic in hoping that if and when a child would not behave well, the teachers would know how to handle it- boy, was I wrong! My daughter was scratched, pushed, hit, had her leg stood on by a boy (to which the teacher just told the other kid not to do it bc my daughter didn't like it.... Because so many people would) The straw that broke the camels back was: my husband arrived to pick up my daughter and noticed a bump/bruise on her head. He asked the 3 teachers at the door what happened. They all said they didn't know. Our daughter told us that a boy (who had done other things to her in the past and sounded to be an overall behavioral issue), hit her in the head with a stick on the playground. I asked if a teacher saw. She said no. She said she told a teacher and that teacher put the kid in timeout. Ok, fine. BUT, she happened to be one of the teachers at the door that said she didn't know what happened to my daughter.... In all the time my daughter went yo the school, we felt they operated in the dark. We never received an email about any incidents and when we brought it to her teachers attention, he said he would look into it and get back to me. Never did. After this last incident, they also said they were going to investigate and interview the teachers and get back to me with their findings. They never did. It became very obvious to me that this school was all about collecting $$, but not providing even the basic service of safety, not to mention an education. I am not an unreasonable individual, and if they had just communicated when things happened and told me how they remedied it, I would have been ok. Send your child elsewhere..... there are plenty of good schools out there. This is not one of them. read more

My daughters have been involved with Cherry Hill Montessori for over 20 years. First, as students, then as teachers during the summer months. CHM laid the groundwork for my daughters to be successful in whatever they chose to do in life. Never once did I have any doubt that I made a wrong decision. They were taught empathy, kindness, sharing , and many important life skills, as well as readiness for Kindergarten in the Evesham School District. I have toured 10 pre-schools before I committed to CHM. I instantly felt it was a safe and nurturing environment the moment we entered the building. The owner Kerri & Janine the director, are kind and understanding. They both have reassured me numerous times with phone calls, emails and hugs that my daughter is having a wonderful time. They hand select each staff member. My daughter was so nervous and anxious when she first began her journey here. Mr. Joe held her hand for the first two weeks of school until she was comfortable and adjusted. He is an amazing teacher and has the patience of a saint! The education the children receive at CHM is monumental. The absolute best aspect of this school is teaching the children coping skills in a loving and nurturing manner. Whether it's working through separation anxiety from a parent to learning how to deal with conflicts amongst peers. I cannot recommend this school enough! this school is HANDS DOWN the best montessori school i have ever come across. the staff is nothing short of amazing, with positive attitudes, constant smiles and an abundance of knowledge and love for every child that walks through their doors. Any child that comes out of that school walks away not just with life long friends but with the foundation and confidence to follow through with life and all their ambitions. Each and every teacher (including the owner) take pride in spending the time to teach children the Montessori way and its evident in the skills the kids bring home on a daily basis. I'm really happy with my decision to send my daughter here. We moved to Cherry Hill and had to switch my from another preschool that I liked, but I felt I had to compromise with in terms of what I wanted for my child. Not the case with Montessori Learning Center as the staff, the facility and the academics (as well as the parent community feeling) are all there. The staff consistency and experience was a huge factor for me. I feel confident that my daughter is developing a love of learning and having fun at the same time. read more

I have been a parent of the Cherry Hill Montessori for the past three years. The growth that my daughter has made academically and socially has been tremendous. The dedication from the on site owner to the teachers has shown me that academics is as important to them as it is to me. Both of my children have been attending CHM for almost two years now. They have a very strong academic program, which is designed to help kids in developing independent skills while communicating with their classmates. CHM has exceeded my expectations. The staff is dedicated, experienced, and very friendly. There is a sense of family when you walk into this school. Be careful when you enroll in this school, and that you child has no behavioral problems. Also, they are not accedited by either the AMI or AMS, which makes them just another daycare that uses the Montessori name so that they can charge more. read more

Cherry Hill Montessori is a four classroom school in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Sending my children there is the best decision I could have made. Throughout my 5 years of being there, I have seen my children grow into independent, confident, life long learners. Their caring culture, and high expectations demands excellence. My children not only were prepared academically, but socially and emotionally for the higher grades. They group their classes with mixed ages. The younger kids learn from the older kids, and the older kids learn by teaching the little ones what they know. This also allows for flexible grouping in regards to the academic areas. Both of my children had the same teacher there. She is, in my opinion, one of the most important people we have met. She had a huge influence over them. She is knowledgeable, consistent, a great role model and she loves children. When I think of what a teacher should be, I think of her. Sending your child to this school would be an incredible decision, that would greatly impact your child's social, emotional and academic growth. The owner and other teachers and staff are very accommodating and knowledgeable. They take their jobs seriously and genuinely care about shaping the futures of young children. I only wish they would continue their program through the upper grades. Cherry Hill Montessori is a top notch preschool and kindergarten. read more
