If you ned a smog test, this is the place to go! Gerardo was professional and worked diligently on my Mustang to get it smogged, although we ran into a problem. The original owner had installed a special exhaust system and the sticker that authenticates the product was old and illegible. Jesse promptly came to discuss the matter with me since I had become very stressed (I had only a couple days left before my DMV registration was due.) Jesse displayed top notch customer service skills and defused my frustration. He advised me of what steps to take in order to avoid DMV extra charges and how to obtain a new sticker from exhaust manufacturer. Alberto, another professional and polite employee was able to compete my smog test when I returned with the sticker. I had a very disappointing experience with Cherry Smog. They advertise a $10 off coupon on their website, and when I called ahead, they confirmed that the coupon would be honored. However, when I arrived just 30 minutes later, they suddenly changed their story and said it was only $5 off--and only if I left them a review. This is extremely misleading. Advertising a $10 coupon, confirming it over the phone, and then changing it once the customer shows up is not acceptable. On top of that, asking for a review in exchange for a discount feels like they are trying to game their ratings instead of earning honest feedback. Overall, very shady and unprofessional business practices. I would not recommend this place. read more

Walked up and was approached immediately by the tech. I let the technician know I was here for a smog check. He did notify my that I had a customer in front of me and that I would be serviced next. He welcomed me in to plenty of seating with a fan blowing to keep me cool in this California heat. Jesse was very nice and right on time at 8:00 am. He brought me right in, hooked my car up and went to work. He even accepted my coupon I had printed out for another shop on Yelp (too far - 12 miles!) before I found him on Yelp (only about a mile from my house!). SO glad I went to Cherry Smog.
