Employees said to ignore it after 5 PM. We met most of the staff working as the Saturday night rush hadn't started yet. They were each very personable, helpful, and professional. We sat at a regular table at the back of the building. They have mostly bar and bar height tables. They also have possible seating outside on a covered porch. So if you didn't come or are not there to meet up with any of the regulars, you may feel out of place. Generally speaking, the folks in there are pleasant - just having a good old time or drinking themselves to death. The bartenders are very nice and drinks are cheap. It is cash only, but there's an ATM. They have somehow squeezed two pool tables and a dart board into the small bar area in the front. The Macaroni and cheese was made with Sharp Cheddar, Monterey Jack and Parmesan cheese. Looks this would score off the chart but it was a bit too salty for me. The small coleslaw was nothing special. Not here, the amazing staff was super friendly, and working hard. The food came out fast and hot. Tasted great. We are looking forward to returning when we are back in area for lunch or dinner. But man oh man the food is awesome and the breakfast portion sizes are great! I had the Southern Omelette, home fries, and sourdough toast. I could only eat 1/3 of the omelette, 1/3 of the home fries, and one slice of toast. The customer service here is top notch. If you're lucky, Larry might stop by your table and say hi. The downstairs was closed when we arrived (Monday evening). Both the downstairs and the upstairs are very spacious with the downstairs having a large bar too. You wouldn't have even known they were gluten free. Also had bacon wrapped dates and baked feta bites. The bacon wrapped dates were so good! For dinner we had chicken piccata, mahi, veggies, strawberry spinach salad, scalloped potatoes and a spaghetti squash dish that was vegetarian and vegan.
