This place is corrupt in my opinion and does work on your teeth that is not even needed!!!!! The story - I went to this dentist for a few years to be closer to home from my original dental office. I was stunned when I went from having low maintenance teeth to suddenly needing work done all the time. I attributed it to aging and thought nothing of it. They also tried to really push Invisalign and other cosmetic procedures, with Dr Zettler telling me how hard it must be to be a girl with such spaces and crooked teeth (I've never needed braces or anything in my life), causing me to become self-conscious about my teeth (her goal I believe). When some of their dental work broke after a few months of placement I went somewhere else and stayed because I got a better feel for them. Guess what?? Suddenly I went back to hardly ever needing anything done. A relative of mine who also had the SAME EXPERIENCES as me (low maintenance to always needing tons of expensive work done) was told by Cherrywood they needed SEVERAL CROWNS. Suspicious, I had my relative get a 2nd opinion at my dentist. The verdict? They only needed ONE CROWN, not several!! I have since heard from my current practice, former staff, and others that they are known for performing unneeded work and billing for work never done. This place needs to be investigated. read more

The absolute WORST! Not only do they try and sell you teeth whitening, Botox, mouth guards for $1,000, etc, they have changed our family appointments MULTIPLE times. Last week, they sent a text and changed (without asking or permission) my two sons' appointments and could not accommodate the original time and today I walked in for my 930a appointment and it was switched without my knowledge! WE ARE DONE WITH CHERRYWOOD DENTAL and I would not recommend them to anyone. Never going back. read more

I have been going to Dr Zettler at Cherrywood dental for over 10 years. I live near Woodbury and it is a more than 20 mike drive to their office in Savage, but it is SO worth it! I originally found Dr. Zettler from the Minneapolis, St. Paul Top Doctors Magazine issue when I was in desperate need of a major dental reconstruction and have not been disappointed. Her skill, professionalism and geniality made it a pleasant experience! She is caring, innovative and thorough and her office staff, especially the hygienists are top notch (and gentle!). I would not recommend going here. I went here for the first time for a cleaning in 2018. They told me that I had 9 cavities. This was really surprising to me because I take really good care of my teeth, I have only had 3 fillings in my entire life, and at my last exam 6 months prior with a different dentist, I didn't have any cavities! Cherrywood also recommended a lot of extra treatments that were unnecessary and not covered by my insurance. I don't remember what they quoted me for all my "new dental problems" but it was over $1000. I got a second option from another dentist and they confirmed I did not have any cavities. While the office was beautiful and all of the staff were really friendly, I would not trust going back there. read more

They push too much unnecessary work. They told my wife, dying of ALS that she should have a crown replaced. We got a second opinion, who said it was not needed, the seal was good. She died a little over a year later with no issues. They also pushed botox, but that was before she was sick. read more

Dr. Zettler and the team seemed very pleasant and made my experience bearable even though I am often very uncomfortable in those situations. From the front desk, to the hygentists everything seemed good and somewhere I would make perminant. However, they were totally dishonest and not forthcoming that their organization was not in my insurance's network. The results is I paid over 95% out of pocket for the the regular and non regular work. Lesson learned on my side and frankly really bad reflection on their billing staff and to a lesser degree their entire organization. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I went here a few years ago and the doctor did nothing but tell me all the negatives about my teeth and what I could do. She basically refused to see me again with doing her xrays which were NOT included with insurance. No one likes the dentist but if you appreciate the latest in dental technology, then Cherrywood seemingly has it all. 3D imagery, on site crown creation, digital x-rays....the list goes on and on. The staff is very friendly and personable. Dr. Zettler is ridiculously thorough and up to date on the latest in dental care. The only down side - you pay up front and get reimbursed by insurance afterwards. If it wasn't for the fact that I feel like I am getting the best in dental care, I might consider going elsewhere. Highly recommended if you don't mind the insurance thing. Easily one of the best dentists I've personally experienced. And again, her staff is outstanding. read more

It's a lot further for me to drive there, but after over 3 years and some pretty major work I feel the switch to Cherrywood was a great decision. For the most part, a dentist is a dentist... they can all clean your teeth & fix a cavity. What separates a good dentist in my book is trust. Are they looking out for your best interest or trying to push you to make a buck? Cherrywood quoted us on a VERY small repair to my son's tooth and after some confusion with the timing of the procedure & insurance, ended up charging us triple. It's a relatively small bill, but we contacted them to try to resolve the issue. Nobody would return our call or give us resolution, they just kept billing us month after month. At that point, it became a matter of principle. We're talking $180 dollars here... This company has refused to professionally handle this and has now sent us to collection. And as an added bonus, the collection company they use is going after our 19 year old son threatening his credit. If you own a business, then you know how hard it is to get good customers and how important your reputation is. For $180, this dental office has lost my family and every other family I can spread the word to. They have nice employees that clean your teeth very well, but you can find that anywhere!!!! read more

I hate this place, so do the friends that I know have gone there. The front staff are fairly friendly, but I've had problems in the back. One thing, is that they've poked my gums very hard, which was not accidental. They've been good with my brother, but for me, not so much. Also, I've had issues with the fillings done here, in the way that I've had to have them replaced. They don't seem to care if you aren't comfortable, especially since they seem to do more poking and proding at your gums then would be necessary, plus the doctor seems to discredit anything you say, then repeat the same thing back to you as if I hadn't said it before. There are better places out there, even if this was close enough to walk to. read more
