This dispensary has UNCLEAR RULES about accepting returns on DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS. Instead, they give you UNREASONABLE RETURN OPTIONS on malfunctioning inventory. I have never had so many issues with items from a dispensary. Since they want to refuse return on malfunctioning product, please heed my warning. This interaction took place with the budtender that had black thick rimmed glasses (extremely rude) and the manager: JAKE. To refuse a return because you had to exchange over 50% of my last purchase of +$300 was MORE frustrating. 1) I can't use it. 2) I have to go back and wait in line, wait for the exchange. It's a hassle. 3) i didnt realize you actually BLAME the customer for fault and not process a refund/exchange. All of the 1g vape pens that were returned from Visit 1 were leaking in their brand new in the box. You have them. SHOW THE MANUFACTURER SO THEY FIX IT. We opened my exchanged 1g vape cartridges with budtender rep priscilla visit 2 while onsite to make sure the "replacements" werent leaking but 1 of the 3 replacements were leaking. A 4th replacement wasn't available so i got money back for that. She joked how the manufacturer is to blame and I had bad luck running into so many leaking 1G vape pens. Visit 1 my receipt shows: 6/13 @ 5:23 pm Visit 2 6/13 @ 5:50 pm Of the three replacements I left with my second visit, I annoyingly discovered one 1g vape pen is still unusable (malfunctioning) so I stupidly went back today, 6/15, only to be insulted in person. I brought the 1g vape pen, with the original box and receipt within 2 days of purchase and you didn't accept it. I have contacted the manufacturer to get clarity on what's normal because I feel CHEATED, and to make SUNMED aware that their reseller CHESACANNA is refusing product support. I've had no issues with other dispensaries. Putting the burden on your customer to write to the manufacturer makes no sense. I returned the product within your 'guidelines': "return it as soon as possible with original box". It's unusable product. You are supposed to willingly accept malfunctioning product and the manufacturer will make it right between the two. Better yet, resolve the issue because the culprit isnt the customer. Its somewhere in their manufacturing process so why throw the customer in the middle? There's a dispensary warranty program. Does the owner know your managers are refusing to follow policy? That whole interaction was frustrating and I left with the understanding that your store does NOT care about removing UNUSABLE OR LEAKING BRAND NEW PENS from your shelfs and you will NOT refund customers that encounter issues within 2 days of purchase, with receipt and original box. Leaking cartridges continue to leak after cleaned and eventually BURNS on the pen further damaging it so I refuse to use a leaking BRAND NEW 1g Cartridge on a perfectly clean working pen. It defeats the manufacturer instructions with regard to maintenance. Chesacanna is damaging the manufacturer's reputation. I would avoid buying vape cartridges from chesacanna because their return policy is randomly followed. Since I have a history of returning leaking new pens I have a Scarlett letter. I was patient with yall many times: recently you made me wait endlessly on 4/20 when your servers went down and picked up my preorder on 4/21. your budtender royally messed up a few of my online pickup order(s), even CHASING me to my vehicle to STILL have it wrong (I only order 1g vapes and they undersold me with .5g vapes), but no more. Update: I called Chesacanna back just to see what their return policy is on BRAND NEW PENS OPENED ONSITE and they didn't have an answer. Make a firm policy and make it visible instead of insulting your customers. How does the person answering the phone not know the answer to that very basic question? ASCEND in Ellicott City/Laurel and WAAVE in Greenbelt have their return policy on leaking vape pens on their counters and printed. They also happily mention on the phone to bring back whatever malfunctioning product and they will swap it out. read more

It appears that this spot has some tweaking to do as a new business, however, over all it was very professional and provided a quality product . I ended up with some infused pre-rolls that were maxed out under 50% THC and edibles with a substantial first time and veterans discount . Kim was my bud tender and was extremely knowledgeable about the products and puts out a cool vibe . They seem to think it's appropriate to publicly confront patients with anxiety over "transactions" because 2 family members showed each other what they'd bought before leaving the parking lot. Nothing was exchanged, but the security guard felt it was appropriate to embarrass an underaged boy who was just there with his mother to get his medication. I have been to this dispensary once and had planned to return as the budtenders were very helpful in finding a good option for my endometriosis, but after hearing how my little brother was treated, I am absolutely disgusted and will not be returning. read more

So today was my first visit to Chesacanna and honestly, after going here I see no reason why I'll ever go to another dispensary again. From the minute I walked in the staff couldn't have been nicer or more professional. I was registered and got checked in and was then greeted by Marny who took the time to show me around, explain the lay out and some of the in's and out's and you could tell she not only knew what she was talking about but she also took pride in what she was doing, it was a really refreshing change from some of the other places I've been. The prices were great and the choices abundant. If you haven't been to this place yet by swing in you won't be disappointed. This place used to be so awesome! It used to have great customer service but after today I'm never going back. The front desk lady didn't even look at me and even gestures for me to move so someone else could hand her something who was behind me. Rude. Chesacanna was the first dispensary I excitedly decided on, for my first medical marijuana expertise experience.  Walking into Chesacanna, I was calmly greeted by a sweet friendly face. She welcomed me excitedly, knowing I was a first time patient. I was of course nervous, but all anxiety went away as I realized the process was not intimidating DUE TO the overly welcoming and patient service by the staff that I was receiving directly upon arrival. Once the minute-long paper work was filled out, I was sent to the waiting room. The waiting room is very professional and neat,  much like a doctors office. The waiting room has advertisements on their walls and tables for the staff picks and discount of the day, updated daily. So, while you wait you are able to read through what is happening that specific day and the deals that are going on. While waiting, patients are able to walk through their wellness center. Having this attached to the dispensary-literally just through a door way (and you dont even have to be a Mmp to walk through the wellness center btw) is very convenient because as I awaited my turn (never longer than 5 minutes depending on the time of day, weekend, etc,) I was able to ask about CBD and the benefits of it, while also having eye candy all around me considering the options for small gifts for other people even if they aren't interested in Medical marijuana. The smoking devices are abundant in there, and depending on what you are looking for, the staff will direct you through asking questions and being genuinely interested in furthering your health. Once a staff member called my name, which I heard in the wellness shop, I walked over and was welcomed into the actual medical marijuana dispensary. The very large room smelled fresh and their was plenty of space to breathe and not feel anxious as a first time user. My first bud tender experience was with a woman named Marni. She was so incredibly knowledgeable, patient and non judgmental. Truly, I do not even feel that worthy when I walk into my general practitioners office. As we spoke about my issues of anxiety, she recommended starting at a smaller dose and of course working my way up from there. I mentioned I wanted to smoke and she thoroughly and articulately went through all the strains and what to expect and recommended through her expertise. Its been one year, and I frequent this dispensary once a week, sometimes a few times. And even though I may feel like I am a bit much sometimes, they never show attitude or judgement, they only show care, the best quality of service, and a loyalty to you as a person who is just simply looking for mental ease and physical pain relief in your everyday life. read more
