They pretend to give you a deal. I put 7700.00 down because I ordered custom parts. They lied me about extended warranty. They claimed you cannot customize your bike with vance and hines. They claim you cant get real saddlebags. They pretended to order my parts but kept telling me the companies were refusing to send tracking. I called both companies and found out the parts were not even ordered yet. They ate claiming my bike wont be ready for 10 more data even though the parts will arrive today. This place will scam you every way they can. Do not finance with them. Order your own parts. Update***** The fair trade commission and the Better Business Bureau have been notified. My lawyer will be sending the demand letter promptly. Win or lose, they'll have to spend TENS OF THOUSANDS more than what it would cost to make this right rather than fighting me on it. Fight for yourself, don't let these people take advantage of you!!!******Absolutely trash do not buy from them. I told them EXACTLY what I wanted with my bike, speed noise and comfort. Refused to let me turn the bike on until it was bought in cash then just before i turned it on they say "hey by the way you might want a new exhaust" it doesn't even sound as loud as a moped. Then I bought a $200 phone mount and their (master technician) installed it and put a large dent in my tank because it was installed completely wrong. Here I am two months later offering to trade it for a bike at $15k, 3 years older than mine with 8,000 more miles on it and two engine sizes smaller and they are refusing saying they can only give me $11k toward the trade for the bike I bought for $16k plus tax and tags making it $20k and they damaged it. The bike I want is only $15k. Needless to say I'm having my lawyer send them a demand letter on Monday and will be proceeding with a lawsuit and a BBB compliant, filing for FTC violations etc. Never NEVER buy a bike from them let alone have them work on it. read more

Save yourself the time and frustration- go to Harley Baltimore. We had the WORST buying experience at Harley Chesapeake and even worse experience taking our bike to get an under-warranty repair done. My husband's bike wouldn't start - tried a new battery and nothing would get it starting. So we towed it to Harley Chesapeake because we had a month left on our warranty. Shop said that it's a right control switch pack issue and that the part is on back order and should be in a few weeks. At this point I'm not going to tow the bike back home because it's not like we can ride it, so we decided to leave it at Harley. Also- I was worried they would come back to me saying my warranty was voided if i brought the bike back once the part was in and my warranty was up. Honestly seemed like something Harley would try to pull. Month goes by, haven't heard anything. I then called and they said it'll probably be another month, they're trying to source the part from other Harleys but not having much luck. Bike is still left at Harley. After probably a month and a half I call again and ask for another ETA, I was told that the part is not in stock anywhere that I probably won't have the bike for another 4 months. So it is what it is, we waited. Couple weeks shy of the 4 month eta they gave last, someone called us (shocking since I always had to call them to get any update on the bike) and they said the bike is ready to be picked up. My husband and I live an hour away, so the drive itself is an inconvenience. But we go to pick up the bike, it turns on - great. Then I notice on our drive home he has 2 different headlights on his bike. One is the LED custom dynamics bulb he has had on his bike (same bulb when we bought the bike from them) and then a cheapo halogen bulb. So we drive all the way back and ask them why there are 2 different bulbs on the bike. The mechanic that worked on his bike came out and said that the issue this WHOLE TIME was the right LED bulb was short circuiting, somehow causing the bike to not start. So I'm irritated on numerous levels. One being, YOU HAD MY BIKE FOR 5 MONTHS BECAUSE OF A FAULTY LIGHT BULB?! Second, you didn't have the decency to tell me that was the issue? The work order paperwork (attached photo) only stated the right control being the issue. Never mentioned the right bulb. And third, if the bulb was the issue, why would you put a cheap bulb that was probably just laying around the shop on his bike when it clearly doesn't match the custom dynamics bulb. Whether or not you wanted to argue a bulb being covered under warranty, why wouldn't you just put a matching bulb on considering you had our bike all this time. At this point, I waited 5 months for a cheap bulb to be put on, they probably never even touched the switch pack right control like they said they did. And of course no one there can admit fault. So we were out of a whole riding season, and insured a bike we didn't have. Never was offered a rental bike. All in all terrible experience, we will never return and Harley Baltimore will gladly have our business! read more

I went on the ride with Pete ride this morning and at the turn around point started having electrical issues, would not crank and almost had to stay there and call Missy, we'll it started and I made it back to the store with the group. I went in to there service department and spoke with the service advisor and brought it to the service area. I then spoke with Julius, who finished helping me out, he came out and did a quick troubleshooting and made recommendations to start with the battery. It was wrote up and he took it back and went to work, he kept me informed and advised on what was needed now and what could wait till we got back to Texas. This would have been our 4th Harley purchase from Chesapeake Harley. On 2017 we traded a 2011 Fatboy in for a 2017 Heritage but after a month we felt it was too small for traveling so we traded this for a 2017 Electra Glide and really enjoyed the ride and comfort. However, in 2020 I required a triple bypass and felt the bike was much too heavy to park in our garage. We decided to trade this bike in for a 2020 Road King and were able to park this in our garage. But this past September and as I just turned 72 we decided to trade this for a 2021 Trike. We spoke to the sales and requested a short test ride as shown on their site. The general manager came over and said no test rides. We both felt this is no way a Dealer should treat their customers so we both left. We explained we really wanted this Trike and have the cash to purchase this $37,000 Trike. So we left very unhappy with Chesapeake Harley. John read more

That being said my credit history is not long a month ago I was offered 17.99 and 700 down at old glory for a bs excuse of first time buyers program than today they tried to offer me the same bs with 900 down and 19.9 interest for a less expensive bike? The finance guy has horrible customer service skills, and tried to tell me the other dealership is wrong. My dad bought a bike here in January I will never buy a bike at this Harley shop ever. I have been to several Harley Davidson dealerships in the Baltimore Maryland area . This one by far has the most beautiful show room. But that is where it ends. The people who run and work at this shop are 100% scumbags. You hear where a shop wishes to send you out on the RIGHT bike, this shop hopes to send you out on a bike they can make the most money on. I understand fully that it is a business and need to make a profit but in this case the bike they sold to a first time buyer and 100% took advantage of was not only the WRONG bike but was a very overpriced bike. Lets face the facts that riding a motorcycle is a very dangerous hobby but if you buy and ride a bike the correct size for your body build and skill range of riding you can have a very safe and enjoyable time. in this case they saw my Fiance enter the showroom alone midweek midwinter and the sales staff got a hard-on to make a quick deal. they sold her on the lower suspension package to help her become flatfooted (great), The fact that she could not reach the kickstand to lift it up and have zero bend to her elbows for sharp turns were of no concern to her as a rider. next lets visit the fact of price. She agreed to the price they wanted and that is on her . she spent near $13,00 for a bike KBB suggests near $10,000 for year / miles / condition . This was mid winter as i said. now that spring is breaking in we took the bike out to a safe parking lot for a safe test ride (btw they WILL not let you test ride a bike till you are finished the paperwork towards buying the bike, so i hope you pick the right one the first time else you are pulling credit checks all day.) very quickly we learned this was not the bike for her and it was extra dangerous for her to ride this. 3 months later $5,000 down payment, they offer her 6,400 buyback/trade in for it. Leaving her not only in the hole on the whole deal but STILL OWING on the WRONG bike. Scumbags again, This bike is in 100% same condition when bought and MAYBE 80 more miles added to it. You damn well could of taken the bike back and turned around to resell to the next sucker i mean victim i mean Motorcycle enthusiast . the offer they made to me to help her simple return the bike and not owe anymore was "she could always make an $800 payment then trade it to us." what a joke . If you want the most expensive short term lease on a bike this is the shop for you . On a side note I took her to the Rt.40 Harley Davidson dealership today and we were able to take the RIGHT bike out for a test ride this afternoon and spend a few hours with it, The staff 100% gives a damn and 100% wants us to be happy. so to sum up my whole review Chesapeake Harley has a beautiful showroom but is staffed by a pen of snakes, Strongly suggest you visit other dealerships in the Maryland area where you are more likely to have a not only positive experience, but an Honest one. read more

Great Customer Service! The parts department was extremely helpful with a telephone delivery order. I was assured by a lesser dealership that I needed a part which could only be ordered from Chesapeake HD, and they rushed to get it to me by COB so I'd have it in time to make Rolling Thunder. Then I discovered I actually did not need the part and called to cancel. They caught it just as it was being loaded onto the delivery truck and refunded my money immediately. This is one of the best experiences I've had with an HD dealership. read more

I bought a brand new 2018 Harley Davidson from Chesepeake HD and have had it for about six months. The buying experience was all extremely positive and the staff at Chesapeake were very helpful. A few hundred miles ago I finally hit the 1,000 mile service mark aka the first big service mile stone for a Harley Davidson. During this period of time I had one major electrical issue with the bike. It was to the point where the bike was completely unrideable. Thankfully the issue occurred at almost the exact same time that I had to take the bike in for initial service. I was grateful for this because I thought since I had the appointment made so far in advance at least they will have set some time aside so that they can get started on my bike right away. Nope! It wound up taking a month to get the bike back. I was flustered, but they made it right by not charging for the initial service.....Until I got a random phone call literally weeks later by one of the managers that works there named Bob Wrigley. This guy bombarded my phone because he said I had to pay up for the initial service. I explained to him the situation with the bike and how long it took despite the appointment and he could of cared less. I've never dealt with such a poor customer service representative. I'm not asking for handouts, but you do somebody wrong I think situations should be made right. As a whole Chesapeake HD is a great dealership, however steer clear of Mr. Wrigley if you can help it. read more
