I was going to buy a Polaris 570 EPS, I received a quote for a 570 EPS, the next day I went there and we agreed on a price, I gave a deposit of $200.00 on my CC, I then compared my email to the agreement of sale, the stock number and VIN number were two entirely different units. They were trying to give me a unit for without the EPS and charge me the price of the EPS. I did not want to do business with them, trying to get my refund was a nightmare, the owner accused me of using them to get a better deal, he was more concerned that he had CC charges and taking time out of his vacation to discuss this with me. Took my bike in for inspection and they did it while I waited and I didn't have an appointment. Granted it doesn't take long to inspect a bike but they got right on it like I was their only customer. I walked into the showroom and every employee aknowledged me with a greeting and asked if I had any questions they could help me with. After a brief time Tom the service manager found me to let me know I needed something minor for inspection. I asked them to make the repair and 30 minutes later I was on the road again. This wasn't my first visit nor will it be my last. They are always courteous and helpful when I visit. read more

AVOID I bought a part from them, it was mailed to me. They shipped the wrong part to me, they admitted.The parts rep said they CAN NOT issue a refund to my credit card...wow...they can charge the card but can not issue a simple credit. Only the "boss" can approve a refund. Keep in mind, Reading Motorsports made the mistake, not me the customer! A day later I get a message. They then told me I need to pay to mail the erroneous part back to them in Reading, PA and when received, they would send me a check for the value of the part!! Let me see....hum...they immediately charge my credit card for the purchase...send me the WRONG part, then tell me to pay for the shipping to return their mistake, and then I should hope some day they will actually send me a check. Obviously they hope I will not return the part and they won't have to deal with me. This dealership is oblivious to customers and think customers will take this....don't count on it!! read more

Great service and B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L showroom. It's like a museum with 30+ vintage bikes hanging on the wall. Bought a used '15 RZR from Mike, who I think was the owner. He took the time to go over the unit with me while rechecking the unit over. As he was looking the unit over, he found two bad bushings and had them replaced free of charge prior to me picking the unit up. Probably took 2 hours and saved me their normal shop rate. Friendly staff with some good looking woman behind the counter. Also purchased goober helmet. A+++++ service. Also glad he responded back to the bad reviews below as many people want to shop around and then blame the local guy. Will definitely get in touch for my next purchase. I spent $31,000 with them in April. I also bought 2 pair of $20 glasses. One would think I'd be a valued customer. I bought a 2017 Orange Maddness Polaris Slingshot SLR. Two days later i discovered cracks in the cowls behind the headrest (due to Polaris's carless assembly). That same week someone backed into me at a traffic light. I had already reported the cracks in the cowl and RSM ordered replacements. When the replacements were put on I noticed, after i got home, the the emblems were not put one (poor performance of RSM). Also the quality of the replacements were horrible, grainy and course. As if there was no clear coat. They gave me an estimate for the minor fender bender i had, submitted it to the insurance company and the service manager offered to give me touch up paint as an option but he said "I can't give you any money back from the insurance check because that would be fraud". I never mention any other option, i wanted my panels replaced. So he thought i was ignorant enough to take the touch up paint and let him somehow keep the money... also FRAUD! Then my clutch switch goes bad. I take it back to them, under warranty. I told them all i wanted was my clutch switch replaced and the emblems put on the back cowls. Prior to that the service manager asked me on three separate occasions about the insurance check.... after i told him i chose a body shop to do the repairs. He even told me that he contacted the insurance company and they told him that they sent me the check. I questioned why was he so interested in my claim. that was my responsibility not his. It was none of his business. The replacement parts polaris sent were awful and they sent another request to replace them. I declined. So RSM was trying to charge me a restocking fee of over $400 and a shipping fee for an additional over $400 for the replacement panels. I called Polaris and was told by two people that Polaris doesn't have a restocking fee. The owner backed his employees lie with some bogus explanation. Then decided to eat the restocking charge, just charge my over $400 to ship the parts back. It took them a week to get the clutch switch replaced. They never called me to say it was done, i called them.....at the end of the work day. they said they was charging my battery... why?????!!! Its only 1 month old. i suspect something because these guys are shady. Today approx 2 months later, Im charging my battery because it completely died after sitting in my garage for ONLY 1 week. coincidence???? I don't think so. They don't deserve one star. With that said my experience was horrible, my purchase is regrettable. read more

When I called to make a service appt. there was no wait to get my 4 wheeler in for problems I was having. They called to tell me the problem before any work was done along with an estimate of work and had my 4 wheeler repaired the day after all the necessary parts were received. They even came in under their estimate. They have a great service desk and knowledgeable people working there. I would recommend them. read more

I called on June 22th to have my oil and oil filter changed and my inspection renewed. Tom, the service manager said he could not get it in that week but I could bring it up. I also had a problem with the cable that opens up my seat on my 2012 Kymco Downtown 300 with 3000 miles on it.I also asked if they could tighten my left mirror which would not stay in place and check my battery because it would not stay charged.Tom, the service manager, said he would also take care of my battery tender. I purchased this motor scooter from Ray's back in 2012 brand new and never had a problem with it . I took it for it's 1000 mile tune up and had no problem. Since then Ray's was sold to Reading Standard Motorsports and trust me the service department has gone way down hill and is very expensive($79.00 per hour) for a group of mechanics that don't seem to know what they are doing.My oil and oil filter change cost me $63.11 for 1.5 quarts of oil and a Kymco filter.$20.81 for the parts and $40.29 for labor for a total of 63.11. What a rip!They miss diagnosed my battery issue and till that was resolved it cost me $278.92. Another rip! The adjustment for my seat cable cost me $59.72 no parts just an adjustment. What a joke!For my inspection I needed a new tire(only 3000 miles) which I bought off of Amazon because the price for a much inferior tire that they had in inventory was $30.00 more then the Michelin tire I bought and took down to them to put on. When I took my scooter in I was told that the inspection would cost $9.95 the cheapest in Berks County. Now I bought the tire for $48.00 plus 6.99 for shipping and they put in 1 balancing bead pack 1 oz. bag($10.95) to put the tire on my scooter it cost $71.89 plus the 54.99 I paid for the tire with the sticker it cost me $157.37 for the inspection. Giant rip off!!!!! The worst part was it took over a month to get my scooter back(July21th) and when I came to pick it up, Tom,( the service manager and I use that term loosely more like service thief) didn't even have the guts to be there when I came to pick up my scooter.The total for them having my scooter for over a month was $589.37(includes the 54.99 I paid for my tire). If I were you unless your bike or scooter is under warranty, I would find a better place to get any work done because they are a rip and it will cost you and arm and a leg. And they didn't even fix my mirror which I am sure it would have cost me another $100.00. Really get your work done at another place! Please heed my words! If you don't believe me I will sent you the itemized copy of their bill. They even charged me $12.99 for the shipping of a part I needed necessary to fix the battery issue. These are the things that they should have a least one in their parts dept at all times. Can you imagine $63.11 for an oil and oil filter change? I can take my car to Monroe in Shillington and get 5 quarts of oil and a filter under $25.00.They put 1.5 quarts of oil($11.63) and a filter($9.18) and the labor was 40.29(over a 1/2 hr.) for a total of 63.11!!! This should have taken no more then 15 mins.It cost me 71.89 to have them put on the tire I purchased separately ($48.00 plus 6.99 shipping) which was of better than the one they were trying to sell me at a higher price.It was 126..88 to put on the tire..My butt is sore from the ream job I took from Reading Standard Motorsports service department.!!!! Don't go there, please, don't go there! You will be sorry if you do! I just hate being taken because I am not experienced in mechanics. Well like they say,"There's a sucker born every minute" and I guess I was one! BUT NEVER AGAIN! To the owner who commented on my review. I was never told there was a 2 week wait time only he would not be able to get to it that week and if your service manager told you that he is lying(imagine that!)!. Secondly, why wasn't my mirror fixed when I asked that be taken care of. Thirdly, who charges 63.11 dollars to change and oil and oil filter using 1.5 quarts of oil and a new filter? I was never informed of any surcharge if I brought my own tire down!I told your service manager I would be there between 4:30 and 5 p.m. Stop trying to cover your as* ! You F**ked Up! Your Mechanics F**ked up! Stop lying it only makes you look worse! People don't believe that bullsh*t.Nobody trusts mechanics anyway and I want to make sure nobody trusts yours.On my bill its says your mechanic took my scooter out for a test run and you mean to tell me he didn't notice the loose left mirror that kept falling down. I went two miles from your lot and the mirror kept falling down and would not stay where I put it. Why didn't your accredited mechanic fix it! If I can stop one person from using your service department by my review I will feel like I saved someone from being ripped and feel vindicated!
