Took forever to get an appointment. Once there they were thorough and understanding. Did have to follow up on results though.

Stay far away. They rush you through. Dont actually address your issues and then tell you the can't help you... when the next dermatologist office is able to simply remove the popped gland. The young girls who bring you back are rude and need training on bedside manner. No one's there because they wanna be. read more

I spent 4 minutes with this doctor who agreed to look at 3 areas on my body. If there is another concern or a 4th area, one has to make another appointment for that. Absurd!! I have insurance and had to pay $260. Don't waste your time. I give no stars but had no other option. read more

Horrible staff and horrible communication!! Turned me away because I showed up to my appointment time ,but not 30 minutes earlier to fill out even more documents like I did online! So I was never seen after waiting 3 weeks for appointment. It took me two weeks to get a hold of the office manager who was a rude condescending snob. But hey good for them, if they can turn down money. I highly recommend you stay away. The previous doctor ran a much better facility. We are patient and we are customers and we should be treated with respect and dignity. These people could care less and that is exactly what I don't want caring for me for my medical ailments. read more

I recently became a patient and was seen by Amy Davis, NP who was very professional and took her time answering my questions. She also diagnosed why my hair is falling out and noticed a spot on my back that may be a return of skin cancer. I had been followed by another Dermatologist for about 10 years and I learned more in one visit that in that 10 years. The office staff was very professional especially the assistant to Amy Davis NP. My experience was excellent and I would recommend that office. read more

I've been going to this office for several years now. I have always felt everyone in the office is really friendly and helpful. Dr. Coreale has always listened to every concern I have, she gives me my options and is supportive of whatever plan of action I want to go with. I've had a number of skin concerns addressed here, all with resolution. A few years ago I woke up with an alarming irritation on my skin- I called their office and they were able to squeeze me in the same day to help me. read more

They take care of you and know what they are talking about here. Unfortunately they are consistently late when taking appointments at the scheduled time. I drive 30 min in the middle of my work day to come here usually wait over a half an hour after my scheduled time and am unable to see my own clients on a timely manner when I return to work. Between myself and my family, it has lately been a major inconvenience coming here. I do want to point out that when they do eventually see you they are very friendly and professional. If you have the time to wait, there shouldn't be a problem. read more

They were recommended by my old doctor that retired 6 yrs ago. All I needed was a renew of my prescription. The other 5 times never waited more than 20 min. My appointment was for 3:30 pm. I was 5 min. early. signed in sat down. After 20 min. people came in and went in before me. This continued for another 15 min. so 35 min in I got up and asked why I'm still sitting here. "oh your next they're backed up a little" So why are people with later appointments going in before me..?? I sat for another 40 min. I was ready to leave but I needed the prescription renewed and all the time I sat there would have been wasted. Finally after 1 hr 15 min. I got called. When the Dr. came she apologized for the long wait...I asked why was that? She stated we only have 2 doctors here. Can you explain to me why people kept coming in after me and were taken care of ? She stated one of us had 1 patient a long time. So then I said then someone needs to come in and say hey we got a person out there for over an hour can the other Dr take 5 min. and renew their prescription? She told me there're other dermatologists to go to. So I said that's not a problem,,be happy to go somewhere else. Then she changed her tune and apologized and found out for me when the best time to make an appointment. No thanks! The only reason I gave 2 stars is that they haven't had a problem the first 5 yrs. They haven't learned how to run a business yet. Probably never will. Treat your patients like people not things that make you money. Will never step foot in there again. read more

Dr. Coreale has been absolutely wonderful with me and diagnosed not only two spots of skin cancer that had previously been diagnosed as eczema for two years from a very reputable dermatologist in Glastonbury, but she also within seconds diagnosed some very painful and often infected ear lobe cysts that that I then was able to get surgically removed within a month. They had been bothering me for years and caused infections that sometimes would run down to my jaw line and almost necessitated me getting IV anabiotics on onf occasion. My previous dermatologist, three clinicians at three separate minute clinic, and my PCP at all misdiagnosed these earlobes cysts. She was also able to diagnose another lesion that I had on my nose that had been driving me crazy - we are still dealing with curing that and we kind of have a disagreement on whether it needs another freezing session - but overall I am extremely pleased with the practice. read more

They were able to fit me in very quickly when I had something I was worried about, and I was treated with kindness are care the entire time I was there. Dr. Correale was very kind, and knew a lot about her practice and made me feel very comfortable and cared for. She took away my worry and that says a lot coming from me. Go to any other dermatology practice but this one. The billing staff are completely unresponsive to inquiries. The APRN was rushed and dismissive. I heard bad things about this practice and still made an appointment and that was a mistake. read more

My mother was a patient here and I wish I had attended an appointment with her earlier so I could have gotten her switched to another dermatologist earlier. The Doctor here is no help at all. She started a treatment on my mom only to later say it wasn't working. My mom asked her "what do you think I should do" and she said "I can't tell you." My mom continued to ask her "I'm not a dermatologist... What do you recommend is the better option?" The doctor continued to give vague answers which ultimately settled on "I can't tell you. It's your choice." My mom then asked "Are there any benefits to this treatment option" (compared to a more invasive one) and she said "I can't tell you. It's your choice." My mom then said she doesn't want to do the treatment since it apparently wasn't working and the doctor said "Ok, but you still have to pay for this." Even though my mom chose not to get the treatment??? As a doctor, she should be able to recommend things to her patients. My mom has been struggling with her skin problems for years and has had a lot of self-worth issues, the doctor being rude and vague doesn't make matters any better. The staff (other than the staff at the front desk) was also extremely rude. They don't say hi to you and when you ask for any information they don't give it to you. The doctor also didn't say hi and didn't say bye... Which while it seems like something small... It's not easy sitting in a doctor's office for an hour especially when there were no other patients. Overall, probably the WORST experience I've ever had with a doctor. If you need a good dermatologist DONT go here. read more

Although we have been to this practice several times in the past, I can no longer recommend Cheshire Dermatology because the support staff either has not been properly trained, or simply does not care. I tried to make an appointment recently, and after being put on hold for over eight minutes, requested an appointment with a specific doctor at the Cheshire location. When I explained to the receptionist that I was not comfortable waiting over four weeks for an appointment, not only did she not check their other office location or the other doctors schedule, she hung up on me without saying goodbye. I was able to make an appointment with another excellent dermatologist - though a farther drive, the receptionist answered the phone within a reasonable amount of time and treated me like I was not wasting her time. read more

I want to first state that I never actually got to make an appointment to see any of the doctors. Due to a ridiculous office policy regarding Covid I am not able to come into the office. I am a healthcare worker in a nursing home. I have had the vaccine and am swabbed twice a week to make sure that I am negative. I am suffering from a severe skin condition everywhere that my mask touches. I called the office to schedule an appointment. I spoke with someone named Sue. They refused to accept me as a patient because their office policy regarding covid is not to see any patient with a pending covid test. Since I work in a nursing home I am always pending, therefore they would not schedule me for any appointment. They wouldn't even schedule me for a virtual consultation. I am so angry. I am being discriminated against because I work in healthcare. I will be contacting medical boards and writing negative reviews on every website I can. read more

I had an appointment and when I showed my insurance cards,i was told because I have 'THE GRAY CARD" (Medicaid) I would have to make another appointment with the other doctor. i was embarrassed to be told that in front of waiting patients. i was told I would have to make another appointment. needless to say, i left saying I would go to someone else. that certainly was not professional and I certainly would not recommend anyone to go there. i was there to see if I had cancer on my nose and could not be seen until june.!!!! what is the difference with two doctors?one can take the people with Medicaid.!!they won't be seeing me!!!as I see, the reviews are terrible there anyways. what a shame. read more

Avoid this practice at all costs! I had a ruptured cyst that Dr. Correale removed through a small incision. My co-pay for the surgical procedure was $150.00. I went back to Dr. Correale for a wound check about 1 month later because the area was not healing properly. She told me that she may have missed a few pieces of the cyst and that, if the area was not completely healed, to come back so she could make another incision to clean out the remainder. Dr. Correale charged me for the wound check visit - another $40.00 co-pay - bringing the total for this cyst up to $190.00. The office refuses to waive the $40.00 co-pay and told me that Dr. Correale wrote in her report that the wound was healing properly. This is not what she told me in the office. If Dr. Correale had done her job correctly the first time I would not have a horrible scar and would not have to have another surgical procedure done to correct her mistake. This second surgical procedure is going to cost me another $150.00 co-pay bringing the total cost of her mistake to $340.00. I will not go back to Dr. Correale and would not recommend this practice to anyone. read more

I went into this office for my annual skin exam and to have a mole removed from my armpit. Dr. Correale took care of me and her assistant sat very quietly in the room without even saying hello(very awkward since you are having a full skin exam). The removal of the mole was painless but after putting the bandage on, both Dr and assistant walked out of the room without giving me Post-Op instructions. I did not think anything about it until 2 weeks later when I got an infection in the lymph nodes. When I called to get an appointment for the Dr to look at it, the medical assistant was not attentive to me and did not care that I was in pain or that it can be an infection. She wanted to wait to get to me in 2 days later because "my" Dr was not in the next day and I couldn't come right then and there. It was totally fine with me to see the other Dr. but for some reason this was not allowed. After her playing games with me, I decided to seek medical attention else where, and that is where I was told I had an infection and put on antibiotics. I will no longer enter this medical facility and do no recommend them. read more
