For a small town it has a surprising number of restaurants both of the chain variety and privately owned. They have a large DG store and an ACE hardware store side by side. There is one major grocery store located here. There's also an award winning high school, middle school, and elementary school. For a small town this place has a lot going for it! There's a giant influx of people moving here.

The park to me is beautiful! It's pretty basic with an open field to run around in or have a picnic, a playground, boat landing area, and public bathrooms. It also has some walking trails that we went down and saw some of the prettiest trees filled with fall colors. We had the best time just walking around and taking it all in before heading home.

Yes I am a fan of Davidson…read more Great College Town, the Home of Davidson College. Liberal and Conservative at the same time but for a change, generally tolerant to all views. The Town works hard to maintain it's identity and unique small time feel. Up until a couple of years ago, there was not even a large scale Grocery Store in Town. Those wanting to maintain the small town or village feel were opposed to it because it made the town more commercial and less human. The Conservative element did not want the Grocery Stores because they sold Alcohol. Finally a Harris Teeter came in which is now part of Kroger. A rapprochement has been reached with the downtown left intact and new development east and west of Downtown. So much for the discussion of the dynamics of the Community, Very dynamic with a lot to offer, particular in Downtown. Host of one of the best regional Farmers Markets on Saturday. A string of great restaurants, some outstanding and several good but need to push it to the next level. A lot to do. Very walking and bike friendly. Many great Churches all of which are very progressive and promote a doctrine of service and inclusiveness . Good place to park your car and go for a walk and enjoy all of the shops. Stop into Summit for great Coffee and the Soda Shop for what else, Take more than a couple of hours, unwind and enjjoy

Make sure you grab a map before you start. The bathroom was nice and clean! There are walking sticks available if you want to use one. At the top was a awesome view and a gazebo to rest. You could see various mountain tops from there. Through out the trail there are benches and picnic tables to rest at. So if you're in the area, stop bye and take a hike!!!!

It is obviously no longer city hall but is used for municipal purposes. The façade features a two-tiered pedimented portico defined by fluted columns with Doric order-influenced capitals. This... is... Spartanburg!…read more For me Spartanburg is most famous for its incredibly cheap gas. Whenever I'm driving down here I noticed that they have some of the cheapest in the country especially at the Raceway stations as well as some others. The city itself is typical South Carolina, close to I-85, and I quite like the area. I haven't played a concert here yet, but I intend to rectify that on the next tour. I was going to say that this city was named after what I did with your ma last night, but that's actually "Spurtingburg."
