Piles of trash at 7pm, no wonder they have rats
    Jay C.

Avoid like the plague. Over priced and dirty hotel, no included breakfast, rude/ignorant/lazy staff. Toilets don't flush, there are even signs on the toilet to tell you not to be alarmed if your toilet doesn't flush. Ours didn't flush all night and we left them brown mountain. Couch in room hasn't been steam cleaned in a decade and has skin oil/dirt where we didn't want to sit on it. Room had a light musky smell. Woke up at 2am to use the bathroom to come out of the bathroom to find a rat in the middle of the room nibbling on a piece of paper from my work documents. Called front desk, didn't seem to care much I had a rodent, they never came to check on me. Checking out front desk played games about the general manager not being available to fix the issue or correct my bill. It's been 5 days and manager dodging my calls. A manager that never goes to work I guess and never returns calls to customers who had issues. Avoid, avoid avoid.

    More blood

    1. Bad smell 2. The room was something a low cost prostitute or junky would stay in. 3 AC didn't work. 4. Dried blood on bathroom walls. 5 fire detection system covered in dirt and dust. 6. Exhaust fan and ceiling disgusting.

This place should not be allowed to continue in business. Aren't there any inspections required for a hotel? Dirty, smelly, moldy, peeling paint hanging from the ceilings. Not sure if my first review made it through; they said it was "live" but I didn't see it and I want to make sure others are aware of the condition of this place. I left after 15 minutes. MY FIRST REVIEW (POSTED TO THE WRONG HOTEL): This property is in serious need of major renovation. The room smelled musty, paint was peeling from the bathroom ceiling, there was what appeared to be ongoing leaks causing recurring water damage to wallboard and paint at the window that had been patched and painted over several times, but the underlying leak / source not corrected, rusty door frames, cracked ceiling tiles, and moldy vent louvers in the bathroom. That's just the room, I didn't stay long enough to discover any other the other "amenities". I wonder if some of these problems might actually be health hazards. I paid for the night but did not stay and left after 15 minutes. Not that it mattered to me at that point, but the bar that was supposed to be open was dark and empty at 6 PM on a Friday night. If you decide to stay here don't make the decision based on the bar. Any review higher than a 2 must be from previous management or possibly a stay in the Twilight Zone, because nothing good was in evidence when I was there on 8/9/24.

    Hotel lobby.

Loved the pool with flowers all around it and a gazebo...nice grounds. Whatever shampoo they have left my hair nice and soft. Hotel is clean and you cannot beat the price! They even had an exercise room and tiki type lounge that serve alcoholic beverages.

No smoke detector in room. I asked for another room and I was told by the front desk that they would get it repaired :-(

Simply, as other reviewers stated, this is not a safe property. My room didn't have a smoke detector (see picture). When I walked down the hall to my room, there were many rooms propped open but no one in them. It was weird and creepy. The halls are run down but the lobby seems to be fine. I did t use the fitness center since the hotel just didn't seem safe. I stay at many hotels and spend over 100 nights a year at hotels ( yes, you read that right) and this is in the bottom 5%, mostly because of the safety concerns.

I really enjoyed my stay here! we came for a family reunion and Spark did not disappoint! First…read morewill start with location. It was an absolutely great location. It was near the mall near all the things that we needed to get to right around Exton and the Lionville area so in between King of Prussia and Callan, which is where we were going throughout our time. When we walked in the space was beautiful and clean, and we were greeted at the front desk with a friendly face and smile and a goodie bag, which was just really nice and refreshing. They also keep sparkling waters... Our favorite Lacroix stocked and readily available for you to indulge throughout the day and night as well as cookies and coffee. They serve a continental breakfast and make sure that you're very aware and on the weekends they actually serve waffles at the Continental breakfast, which is really nice. We didn't indulge in the Continental breakfast just because we were involved with family stuff most of the day but they definitely let us know and, we appreciate that. We went upstairs to our room. My name was on the screen, which was the first time I've actually ever experienced that so that was just another fun and really nice perk to make me feel welcomed ... I put a touch on. They knew I was coming and ready for me. All the staff were very friendly even when we got in at three in the morning because we were out with the family just having a good time and they're awake ready to talk to you was super nice. The room was clean and neat and the soap, shampoo and conditioner and the shower smelled absolutely amazing. The shower pressure was perfect. Everything was very modernized and clean very amazing. The only thing that I would point out was that the was not working during our stay, however they did have staff that was available to transport our luggage upstairs. We didn't take advantage of it because we packed very light. They were ready and they placed us on the second floor, so it wasn't too many stairs. I looked at it as positive in the overall because I got a small Workout in so, for us it wasn't a huge deal however, if we were on a higher level, it probably would've been something to think about. Overall, I would definitely recommend Spark! And when we go to visit family, I would consider staying again!

I ended up at Spark by Hilton bc I had a reservation at the extended stay across the street for…read moreover 3 weeks but the guy at the front desk was asleep when I got there at 3 am (I drove across the country for work) long story short when I got there I was greeted by Zach (hope I spelled that right) who was LITERALLY an Angel. He knew I had just driven from my last hotel for about 14 hours and took care of me. I honestly sat in the car at 3 am with my dog when Extended stay treated me so badly having no idea what I was going to do because I was so exhausted(customer service kept trying to call the front desk as well but he didn't answer... that's a whole other story) Soo.. about the hotel. AMAZING!!! The beds are literally so comfortable.. the pillows, sheets and everything. It's SUOER clean. Everyone is soooo helpful. There is tea and coffee 24/hrs a day.. they have dog treats and make them feel super welcome. About the staff.. since I stayed a week I got to know some of them (I already told you how amazing Zach was) The front desk staff that I got to know was: Flesha, Nikki and Jim.. Flesha is SUPER helpful, super nice and literally can answer any questions that you may have.. shes so nice and easy to talk to.. she's AMAZING! I would always look forward to seeing her when I got back to the lobby since I'm new to the area and she was always so helpful! Nikki is the sweetest! I could literally talk to her all day long and she really made me feel like home.. last and DEF NOT LEAST.. Jim!!! He is the MOST AMAZING PERSON IN THE WORLD. You could be having the worst day and he would make you Happy. Always has a smile on his face, he's super helpful... when I was getting tea one day and he was asking how my day was i accidentally missed the trash can when I was throwing away the wrapper and he picked without me even noticing.. Arturo is the head of Maintenece is is sooo AMAZING! Anything you need he is there with a smile on his face and fixes anything you need. I 100% recommend this hotel.. which I could live here forever!

The mattresses were old and uncomfortable and did not reflect the quality and standards we typically expect from Marriott. More concerning, however, was the lack of consistency in delivering the amenities that were advertised. The club lounge was posted to open for breakfast at 6:30 a.m., which was important to us because we were traveling with athletes who needed to eat before leaving for a tournament. Unfortunately, the lounge did not open until 7:30 a.m., at which point we were already departing. Similarly, the bar was advertised to be open from 4:00-6:00 p.m. When we inquired at 5:00 p.m., we were simply told that it would not be opening. When we raised these concerns with the manager, rather than acknowledging the issue or apologizing, we were met with a dismissive and unprofessional response. His tone and demeanor showed a complete lack of empathy for the inconvenience we experienced, and he repeatedly told us we were being "nit picky." He also made sure to mention that he had left a career as a surgeon to move into hospitality, which only made his lack of bedside manner all the more striking. He repeatedly cited the need for a major renovation. While I agree the hotel desperately needs updating, renovations have nothing to do with honoring posted operating hours for the club lounge and bar or providing the level of service guests expect. Physical renovations are needed, but so are improvements in communication, accountability, and customer service. Unfortunately, this stay fell well below the standards I have come to expect from Marriott.
