There are normally 2 small buses parked outside of the school. The school is broken up into a daycare that is in the main building and a trailer that houses 2 classrooms of the CMS pre-K program. I have only been inside the trailer. The trailer has a small lobby, an office or two, restroom and the 2 classrooms. They also have a gated playground area. I'm really enjoying my nieces teachers (Ms. Verdell and Ms. Dixon) and the school is very inviting. It's only September in the school year but I anticipate a good school year. There is lots of communication from the teachers and they have taken a big interest in my niece. The school doesn't have a lunchroom so the class eats inside the classroom. The classrooms are set up like normal classrooms and are very cute with all the fun things little people love (cubbies, water station, painting area, cute themed rugs, computers, etc...). Just from speaking to them over the phone, I could really tell that they were personable and jolly people. You don't always find that nowadays so I wanted to make sure that I let them know that during my tour. I was not able to remember everyone's name but the receptionist with the fade and the receptionist with the brunette hair and glasses were very kind and down to earth whenever I had questions or concerns about anything. Even the Financial Secretary (if I'm not mistaken) has been kind to me throughout our short experience with Early Beginnings. Unfortunately, my son and I were not given a chance to experience the extension of kindness in its totality due to being excused from the daycare after my son only attended a day and a half. On his first full day (8/14/23) I was told that he had some problems with listening and getting into the routine which caused problems within the classroom. I attempted to try and talk to his teacher about it the following day but was told that it was understood that this was his first daycare experience and to let some time go by so he could become acclimated (8/15/23). By 11am that same day, I received a phone call with my son crying nonstop in the background and was asked to pick him immediately. Upon my arrival, the Financial Secretary (I believe that was her position) spoke to me about how the environment was overstimulating for my child and how Early Beginnings does not have the staff to give him the extra attention he needs to acclimate him at this time. This truly upset and hurt me to my core that after just a day and a half of enrollment he was being asked to leave. The swiftness of it makes me feel uneasy and uncertain about any interventions or extra care that was taken during that time to help him, if they were given with patience and understanding at all. My son is not a neurotypical child but you are not able to notice it upfront. It is more obvious during social settings. Regardless of whether or not he is a neurotypical child, he should've been given a fighting chance to show whether or not Early Beginnings really would've been "a good fit" for him or not. A day and a half is not enough time to observe whether or not any child will be able to adapt to routines or learn to interact appropriately within a classroom and with peers. I really hope in the future the company will reflect on how unfair this quick termination is to any child and how it effects the child and parent emotionally to be turned away so quickly without any offerings of adjustments, interventions or even a conference with the Director and/or Assistant Director. Please take into consideration that every child you enroll will not always be pleasant or easy to teach and that it will require dedication, work and genuine love for what you do to assist any child in this World.

Even with the transition of her going to a different class once she got older, the experience of both classrooms were great. The teachers love the students like Their own, but including healthy boundaries. My child loved her teachers so much she would look forward to Going to "school" and would have a story to tell About all she learned and did for the day at pick Up. Early beginnings really made enrolling our daughter at a new school pleasant for both of us. The communication is great and modern from the apps used, Cameras in class and the emails from staff; you are able to have open communication with the teachers and staff. The staff is knowledgeable and it's amazing how they Learn and know all of the students to greet them upon arrival. They have all kinds of fun activities for the kids and sometimes parents too. I loved the theme days! It kept the day exciting and the kids look forward to going to school. If you are not one of the people who are ashamed to discuss the goodness of God, I believe you'll enjoy this place as they have values in forgiveness, prayer, and love. I also love the diversity of the students and staff, that truly mirrors the world we live in and gives your child additional layers. We felt comfortable with our Child going here and though she graduated pre-k, she is still mentioning her previous teacher over the Summer. My child was not enrolled as an infant, however as a 3-5year old, we loved every bit and she learned a lot!Thank you for all that you do! I pray this place continues to grow and keep God first. They don't have a full license to run only a provisional license. So do your research before enrolling your child. It's worth going to another daycare and spending extra money on childcare than to put your children in this type of environment.
