We grabbed two high tops in the bar area and had to place our order with the bar tender. The food wait was about 20-30 mins. The wings were great for being $0.25 a piece and the bucket of beer seal (I think $6/5) wasn't bad either. Our bartender was friendly, brought out plenty of napkins, checked on us a few times during our time there, and was quick to bring over boxes for any leftovers. So much of the building is part of the cigar lounge and store. Only about half is the actual bar/restaurant. Both the cigar shop & lounge were dead when we were there. I wished we could've utilized the space for dining. The business shares a large parking lot with the strip of shops next door. Parking was limited on wing night, with several cars parking alongside the building and alongside the grass.

Two major issues. First I bought 7 cigars. Three of the cigars were completely dried out and…read moreunsmokeable. The cigar room is too large and not enough humidity for the number of cigars. Second, my credit card number was stolen at the bar and was attempted to be used the next day. I know it was taken at the bar within the establishment because I used a credit card that I rarely use and one that wasn't used in months. Luckily my credit card company caught the attempted fraud.

I've been to quite a few cigar lounges--and even worked at one--so I have a good sense of what makes a place stand out. Burn by Rocky Patel did just that on every level. The ambiance, décor, cigar selection, and service were all top-tier. It's a classy lounge with a twist of sports bar energy, which made it both elevated and fun. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the next day, and they had live entertainment--a violinist playing along to hip hop and R&B--which created such a unique vibe. Kayla, the bartender, let us know about the live entertainment the day before, it wasn't posted on their social media or website. She was attentive, sweet, and made excellent drinks. Evan, who was working the cigar side, was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and communicated well with customers even during a heavy flow. One thing that really stood out was the crowd--mixed ages, mature, and plenty of ladies confidently partaking in the beautiful art of cigars, which I loved seeing. Even if you don't smoke cigars, the vibes in this place are worth the visit. If and when I return to Pittsburgh, this place is a must. It's also within walking distance to the stadiums, which is a huge plus. Feedback for management: The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the disconnect between locations and social media postings. There was an event listed on the website that wasn't actually happening at this location, while an amazing event that was happening wasn't shared online; which would have been a shame to miss. It may be worth considering in-house social media and website management to ensure updates are accurate and timely to the specific location.

I'm glad he did because he suggested a rum for hubs and an Irish whiskey for me and we each loved our selections. The cigars we chose were really smooth as well. I wound up purchasing a special edition Davidoff cigar for my father and some for hubs and I. We left to visit other places and wound up returning later in the same evening.
