All in all, if you're looking for an affordable round of golf in Hendersonville then this is definitely worth considering--just don't expect too much in terms of quality! While it may not be the best golf course around by any means - due to its rough condition - it still provides an enjoyable experience with great value for money overall! Nice because the shut the course down at 12n & only Rumbling Bald resort guests can play so we had the course to ourselves! Great conditions! Greens rolled & in great shape! It's a mountain course so you are rewarded with shots in the narrow fairways! Great clubhouse especially if you're playing early. They have the Black Bear Cafe where you can get Starbucks coffee & breakfast Sammie's!

Just a small pro shop, a smaller putting green and no driving range. I'm one of those guys that needs to hit about 20 balls to get the kinks out, so that was a bummer. However, the course was in fantastic condition especially the fairways and greens. It's mostly a wide open course but with crazy narrow greens on most holes. So bring a big driver and good luck sticking the greens. No starter, beer girl or anyone trying to enforce pace of play. The carts seem new and in great condition with gps maps that show your pace. I do question the yardage accuracy on the screen. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to try mountain golf. It's a great value
