It turns out my worries were completely unfounded, as the entire staff at Camp College immediately put my mind at ease. Nurse Amira managed my child's Allergy Action Plan like a pro, and the staff in turn took careful safety precautions to ensure that there were no accidental exposures. Anthony, Christine, and Stacie were wonderful about making accommodations so that my son could participate alongside his neurotypical peers, and he even had a special "buddy counselor" who he absolutely loved! Both Science and Arts camps were exciting and engaging, with new projects and experiments being returned home daily. Camp College is truly a family, where each child is respected, included, and cherished. I cannot recommend this organization enough!

It's the people who are doing this, Doug and his team. They are the reason LakeView Day Camp has been a huge success since Doug took over. They have corrected bus issues or stepped in to address other minor problems over the years and always left us feeling like they really care about their campers. Doug, the owner is very visible and works hard to leave campers with a positive experience whether they are 5 or 15 years old. They have a beautiful camp with a lovely lake, a hot lunch and healthy snacks like fruit. They just put in a huge new pool 2 years ago. They have a nice teen program as well.

Bonnie said it was there polocy not to give letters of recomendation. my sister needs this letter to complete her teaching certification here. If this place treats their long term staff, essential to their school like this, I question how they will treat your children. Are they just a number in an account book or are they valued as they should be. Parents look how a school treats their staff. One of the best…read moreparts of this camp is that all children have the opportunity to swim in an indoor olympic-size swimming pool every day with daily swim lessons. The pool is clean and well maintained. Our other favorite part of Future Stars Suffolk is the giant indoor air-conditioned sports arena that the children play in every day! I never have to worry about my children over-heating outside in extreme summer temperatures or miss playing sports and being active b/c it's raining outside. The large size of the arena is phenomenal and Future Stars sections it off for the different sports and age groups. All of the counselors at Future Stars Suffolk have been fun, friendly and attentive. The director is excellent, very visible and hands on and the entire office staff is always kind, prompt and responsive to any questions I have. We highly recommend Future Stars Suffolk!!!

Each day they offer something different. One day when I picked my boys up, they said "why did you come so early, we were having fun."
