I did not realize how amazing apple cider could be until I came here. We wanted to go to a vineyard…read moreand sample some wine but didn't want our son to feel left out. So, we came here instead and had our own little taste testing session with a flight of cider. And wow! These were so good. And each one tasting unique and very flavorful. In the end, we chose a winner, and we all chose differently. There is a cider for everyone it seems! As a bonus, we walked out with some tasty gelato as well. This was a memorable stop for us and will come back again someday. Highly recommend!

We came to eat lunch and learn more about the cider press experience that we read about online. From the online description, I wasn't sure if it was $95 per person for the press, or if the price was flat regardless of how many people join in. Good news--it's a flat rate. You get 10 half gallons of cider. At first, we were hesitant to commit to that much cider because the shelf life is less than a week, but the staff explained that you could freeze the cider. So, we decided to do the press. Before pressing, we had lunch at the cafe. It's a simple menu but the sandwich, coffee, flight of cider, and apples with caramel were EXCELLENT. I'm also thankful that we did the flight because it gave us a good sense of what apples we should combine for the press. For the press, you pick the apple from the bin, wash them, toss them in the press, then bottle the cider. It was such a fun experience, and we loved being able to pick the apple combo so that we could get just the right level of tartness. We noticed that the cider did get sweeter the next day, so next time we'll mix in even more granny smith apples. After making our cider, we put it right in the freezer to prepare it for our drive back to Seattle. Then we filled a plastic box with ice to transport it back. It worked well! While originally we worried about what we'd do with 10 half gallons, now we're worried we may run out before the next time we return. It's so delicious and refreshing. In fact, it's really good the second day of defrosting in the fridge because it's a slushy texture. Yum! We also got a 20 pound box of cosmic apples for $10, and they were delicious too. All in all, we were super impressed with Cider Press. Great products, excellent quality, reasonable prices, friendly staff, and a nice view of the lake. We're looking forward to our next visit! Thanks Cider Press!

It's a pesto and grilled chicken, it wasn't as vibrant as I was expecting, I don't think there was anything wrong with the portion size or preparation, it just wasn't as fulfilling as I anticipated. They supposedly have really good breakfasts, but I was traveling and would not have time to try one out. Looking over the breakfast menu and I think it looked better than the lunch/ dinner menu. I sat out on the patio and it was a nice break from the rain in western Washington.

The servers were incredibly kind and friendly, but the restaurant owner was a different story. We had a yummy basket of fries and a nice chat with our server. After receiving our pizza, both myself and my friend thought that the pizza tasted and smelled of cigarettes. The sauce was very acidic and chunky, and overall unpleasant to eat. We each tried one slice, I couldn't finish mine- before deciding that we really couldn't enjoy it. We let our server know as much and offered to pay for a half pizza/kids pizza (still paying as expected for the rest of our food/drinks), and he said that he would have to ask his supervisor about our request. When "JP" came out, it was clear he had been drinking. He became argumentative quickly- claiming that we just didn't understand how oven fired pizza was supposed to taste, that we were clearly trying to dine and dash, and eventually told us to just "see what happens" and to not pay and leave. He took a photo of us which we asked him to delete (he didn't- he posted us on the business Facebook page- see attached, I've removed my friend's face) and told us he could do "anything he wants" since he was the owner. In all of the breath he spent yelling at us, he could have offered a better solution, or just kindly told us there was nothing he could do. I asked the server if we could just pay and move on- he told us it was fine/on the house, and it seemed like dealing with a drunk for a boss wasn't out of the ordinary. I am sorry to see this kind of unprofessional behavior from someone who claims to have been in the restaurant industry over 30 years. Save your time and the headache and go to Meza or Three Fingered Jack's. We had an excellent experience and enjoyed the food immensely at both locations.
