The older woman who worked there patronized me and denied me service until other peopel came into the store. My family is local, they come here a lot and were really shocked because apparently the owners are really nice people. I wanted to buy American cigarettes and oragne soda. My dads favorite as his sister, my favorite aunt just died and i am coming to see him with my sister. i gave her ID stating I'm 23 and she wouldnt let me check out. She disnt say that i was underage or my ID was fake AS IT WASNT. she simply said "well which type?" And I said the organic. Then she said "well which one they are all different" (referring to the rainbow display.) "Its almost as if you've never done this before." I said, "no, they are not. There are clearly two types. Show me where each type is different." To which she could show no proof either than the color of the box itself. I said "how are they different." She responds with "theyre just different. Theyre different." The one I selected was labeled "turquoise". Damn, I can't wait to find out which flavor "turquoise" tastes like (joking because there is no such flavor as "turquoise".). She then would not ring it up for me she just stared at me. I put in my card, swiped it, presented her with enough dollar bills. Nothing. She just would not ring the cigarettes up and stated that the swipe/card inserting I was doing will not work until she rings the cigarettes up as well. I asked for a receipt and she said she can't since she hadnt done* the opperation. THEN two older men came in and I had to make my case in front of them. Suddenly she said "oh all you have to do is swipe/put card in" Suddenly adding the cigarettes to the order and ringing me up. "You have just been standing here refusing not too and not leaving". She then convinced the old men I was holding HER hostage. All of this is on camera. I work in customer service and I have never seen anything g like this on either side. I have never been held hostage for like 15 minutes then witness her do a full 180 in front of other older people. Rarely, rarely, are older women rude to me because i look young but this was so blatantly disrespectful I could not believe it. I will gladly substantiate my claims and get in touch with management because she siad "youre lucky management isnt here". I got rather angry at her because she was not doing her job for a long period of time and I have just lost someone very dear to me and am being denied cigarettes because I look too young at 23..... She then didn't give me a receipt because I'm sure she is ashamed of her actions. I don't feel like my response at getting angry was unreasonable considering that I have never had someone hold up service for no reason at all then act like a psychopath when other people come in and suddenly ring me up.. please look into this. If she were to deny service to anyone else like a minority group like this your store may end up with a discriminatory lawsuit on your hands. I understand it was just the actions of one person but in a time of grief on the way to meet up with my father, after a full workweek of my own customer service job, I was not ready for this and think you should address the audio of the camera recording. She's very nasty and has major control issues. Not sure if jealousy or what as she was lookign me up and down and looking at my flat chest then my face...... but I'm blown away and was/am very insulted. I can't to spend time with my family in a very stressful time, not get bullied by an older woman for 20 minutes until other customers had to come into the store. I wanted to leave and not give her my business or time but I wasn't about to make her think I really do have some fake ID so stayed and asked her to please do her job which she denied until 3 other customers had to come in and I had to get their attention for her to swipe my cigarettes. read more

The staff is always friendly, the place is always clean. It's the only place in town where you can get gas for your grill or heaters. The biggest downside to this place is the entrance and exit--it is a steep decline. read more

Clean friendly place to get some gas. Pay at the pump 24 hours. And they have a surprisingly diverse selection of beer and drinks. The bathroom here is clean as well which is where I place my ultimate judgement on a gas station. read more
