Do u really want to pay $20.25 for a ham and cheese sandwich????!!!!???!!!
    Breeanna S.

Who would pay for $20.25 for a ham & Cheese sandwich???? Because I wouldn't that's just out right ridiculous to charge that much for a simple sandwich!!!!

    Slow as a turtle charger
    Brian L.

The place is not bad but the charging station by Charge point SUCKS, allow as a turtle even though there is no one else sharing. Out of 2 chargers one kept turning on and off and the other is slow as a friggin TURTLE, so be aware.

New M&Ms! I love gas station candy options!

    - Tamales! A pleasant surprise to find. Gas is a little more than Orange County. $3.69 vs $3.49 West Garden Grove or $2.79 AZ. I was equally jazzed to find but also did not purchase: mexican blankets, woven baskets, and zarapes.

This place is just the first major stop area available after a long distance while traveling from phoenix to Los Angeles. And hence many people along with truck stops here. Area is big too. They have everything like other highway convenience stores but the only advantage is the Nathan's food court inside it. Although very crowded, not so clean restrooms and very high prices of gas. I would suggest to keep going for 10-15 mins more and you will see more options and cheaper gas too.

Pumps never have receipts. Never. Staff is very nice but clearly management doesn't care about customer satisfaction.

I'm still haunted by the lack of cleanliness of their bathrooms. Port-a-Potties on a summer's day don't even smell this bad.

Not much in the way of variety, and extremely expensive. Bring what you need before you come out here, especially for beer!

Great place to stop and stretch your legs. Hopefully you don't need gas, it is pricey.

I got diesel fuel at this "Chevron Gas & Food Mart" on 12/16/2009 for my R.V. "The Black Pearl". The price was competitive.

Expensive gas compared to Indio or Blythe but if you forget to stop like I have on occasions, it's not a bad pit stop place.

Eh, could be better. Long lines inside and out. The wait was too long but I had no choice as I was running dry.

Sheelee's Travel Center is one of the better gas stations in this area for snacks and restrooms…read more You won't find too much of a crowd here because you do have to veer of the 10 freeway a bit and go about 1 exit towards the Sultan Sea to get here. If you're going east, don't make a right out of Shelee's because Google maps will have you take the 10 west and flip you back around. Now that we know that, we'll probably stop by this exit again during our road trips out of CA. The facilities are really clean and they have a gourmet coffee shop inside. I loved my mocha latte!

Glad that I stopped to fill up!…read more From the outside, this travel center doesn't look particularly grand, but stepping inside is a totally different story--it's surprisingly spacious, clean, and upscale for a gas station. The pumps are well-spaced, so fueling up is stress-free and never congested. Inside, the store is a delight: an awesome selection of candy, snacks, fresh coffee, and even gadgets and clothing you don't usually see on the road. Everything is organized perfectly, making browsing a joy. The service is just as impressive. Danary, the cashier, was fantastic--friendly, welcoming, and full of genuine compliments, which was especially appreciated since I felt like a total hot mess that day. Her energy made the visit feel personal and memorable. The coffee shop/ snack restaurant inside added an extra layer of comfort, making this stop not just convenient for fuel, but a place to grab a bite or a coffee and recharge before hitting the road again. Side note: I had no idea that Coachella was also a city and for years, thought that it was the name of the event. Embarrassing (In my Drake voice) ‍ ‍ Definitely stop here to fill up!

The Cafe is a spot for snacks and souvenirs. Reeks of cigarettes and a bit pricey. Gas was over $7 a gallon and they pump it for you. We pissed through $20 of this gas going from here to Twentynine Palms (less than an hour away). The front desk of the hotel was probably my favorite part. It was a beautiful time capsule and a reminder of just how vibrant decor used to be. There's about 5 or 6 rooms you can go into. The rest of the hotel is closed off. You can see the Amboy Crater from there. Lots of great spots to take pictures. The owner of Juan Pollo restaurants owns this space along with the McDonald's museum and a military museum in San Bernardino. Cool spot to check out for sure.
