It's a review for a Shell gas station!…read more Well. I think at one point awhile back it was a Shell... then switched hands to a no-name brand (Sinclair, maybe?) and then now it's a Shell again! The switch happened a month ago according to the friendly clerk I asked inside. This Shell stood out because my usual go-to - the Shell off Brookhurst/Warner - was closed for maintenance. Shell app said this was the next nearest station. Cost-wise, I was a bit nervous, because it was nearly 60 cents/gallon less than other Shell stations in the area. I figured my picky car would let me know if it turned out to be subpar fuel. They have plenty of pumps here - well suited to serve the population since its so close to the 405 freeway. Convenience store has a lot of various sundries, drinks, snacks. Friendly clerks. There's also a car wash on-site. I'll report back if it turns out my car doesn't like the cheaper gas here. I know he's picky and will only be happy on Shell's 91 octane. He doesn't even like Costco gas. Hopeful that my usual Shell station opens up soon - in the meanwhile, this will be go-to.

We went in and notified the front desk lady Nancy that what happened. She immediately had push back saying there's nothing wrong with the pump and it's our fault we left it un attended. I didn't want refund or just to let her management know so it doesn't happen on the next customer. She was being very rude, kept saying unprofessional things to my girlfriend. I drove to a nearby chevron and confirmed that the pump is suppose to click when it's full. We reported to the chevron emergency spill notification hot line. The person on the phone confirmed the pump is suppose to click. Not sure if she had a bad day but she shouldn't be rude to customers when all we did was trying to report a hazardous pump. I tried to call later to see if I can report to manager but no answer. She later called us back saying it happened to another customer and then she went to check the pump and confirmed it was broken. I think in the future instead of giving customer attitude she should at least take consideration of what customer is telling her.

Tonight on 6/14/26, around 3:55 AM, a Caucasian male of around 40s-50s, full blonde mustache, blue eyes, either bald or short hair under his hat, wearing a Shell uniform with almost baggy black shorts, black wrist band likely a watch of sorts, was stopping by my place of work as we are open late to shop. Earlier, we had a difficult incident of theft where one individual threatened gun violence, something that I told him and his group he was with that we will be closed for a bit to avoid that scenario coming true. He exclaimed to me no the fuck you're not, you're gonna be open because I need to get milk for my baby. I did not tolerate that behavior and told him forget it I was gonna be nice and let only you in and refused him service, to which he then said fuck you multiple times and other expletives. I wasn't able to get a good look at his name tag as he shined a light from his phone or a flashlight to prevent me from having a good looks but it looks like he was barely leaving work around the time I listed. Almost to the point where you can just drive up and start the fueling process without check h2fcp.org (but I don't recommend it). The staff inside seem okay with a good attitude, but of course, this could change if the fueling station starting going offline more often and ppl started complaining. I've had all positive experiences with this station and it's staff. No issues, no complaints, clean inside and out (no trash that I see when I visit). Highly recommend this station.
