Huge shell gas station! Not use to seeing shells this big around beach communities so it was very surprising seeing one this big in size. Very clean gas station and all pumps in working condition. They offer diesel gas as well! Overall had no issues coming here! read more

Nice gas station good prices plus Shell is one of the top manufactures of quality fuel!

I have such good feelings about this Shell. I was on my bicycle and stopped in for water. It was a 85-90 Degree cycling day. I came off of the Back Bay Loop. They had a sign pole outside to lock up my bike (not a bike rack) and did not have much of a water selection--it's a small convenience store. But I got the last Fiji Water. But the clerk here last Sunday afternoon was as nice and friendly as you get at a gas station (really nicer than most businesses)--Why can't they all be like that?! (I can tell you why but it won't be politically correct.) Maybe he was Mr. Shell the owner and happy with his gas profits. Super nice talkative guy! Bathroom required a key on the wall and was good for a Number 1, but I would not do a 2 here unless an emergency. They have 2 pumps--a whole Island that are getting ready for Hydrogen. Just gave me a good feeling to be here. I will stop in again. Hope that same guy is there. read more

Came in @ 5:30am w/ a dead iPhone, a wallet left on the plane, & in need of a USB wall plug. I explained to Kenny (who was alternating between Manning the registers & literally detailing the absolute ' ' south of the CAN/USA border) my awkward request of allowing me to open up A USB wall plug out of the packaging without being able to pay for anything without access to my Pay. Surprisingly he was more than happy to do just that. While waiting for the phone to turn on, I realized just how much detail he puts into each and every 'speck' in both the men's & women's bathroom. Very refreshing to both experience the genuine service he provides & to see someone give their all into whatever it is they do for a living! couldn't help but just think about how,much different the would be if everyone had a little bit of Kenny's humanity/humility in them...! 5's all day long! read more

Man this place is home to one of the coolest people i have ever met! This guy is so awesome, he helped me when i was in a bind without any hesitation. He was so down to earth and genuine with me despite him being a 69yr old white man, and myself being a 35yr old black man in New Port Beach during the wee hours of the morning. I love to ecounter people with his outlook and approach to life and the circumstances of it. The man that i am referring to is no other than the ever so helpful Kenny!! They have four hydrogen pumps and a massive sign but NONE of them are even hooked up. People with hydrogen cars have very few options and can easily run out of fuel. It shows up on all hydrogen maps and in our cars and it's such false advertisement!!! Please hook up these pumps! You're the most convenient station and yet the only one who isn't following through on what they advertise. Please fix! read more

Yes the remodel is nice, but they DO NOT answer the telephone, which makes it hard to see if they have something in stock. I don't want to waste my time or gas to drive there if they don't have it in stock, kind of annoying. They can answer the phone and say "please hold I'll be right with you", there's nothing wrong with that, that's what a professional business does, and either the customer in person or on the phone will have a problem with that, again, it's business. read more

KENNY HAS THE BEST CUSTOMER SKILLS EVER. I went to another gas station the man was very rude, Kenny instantly brightened up my day.

This Station is in a great spot for me to swing through, and I have a few times, but the Gal behind the cash register is a Rude little brat, I don't like saying things about people like this but yeah she is a terrible counter person, doesn't acknowledge folks when they are waiting and won't say hello and seems very grumpy !! Sorry for a one star review but this gal is bad for biz, I won't ever go back there, and I gave her 3 chances, what else can I do? I thought she was just having a bad morning, so I went back a couple times and got the same treatment, so I have to go to the gas station across the street and it's out of my way for me..Thanks a lot read more

This is a wonderful gas station. The cashiers are friendly and helpful. They have free air and water if you inquire inside. They also have a soda machine and all drinks are .99 cents...even the 44oz cups!! Gas prices are average for Newport Beach but this is my favorite in the area. read more

Excellent place to get gas: the lots are very clean and spacious then most stations anywhere. Although the station inside has an odd setup, it works and makes things very easy to find. Regardless of this, most people here at the station, whether they are customers themselves or not, are always willing to help others out when they need it (flat tire or stuff of the sort). What I find very cool about the station is it's Hydrogen Fuel islands and the cars that use them! That's one of the things that make this station one of a kind, literally!! read more

This is a gas station plainly put. It's a great location close to mi casa, but for goodness sakes, give us a break on the pricing. This gas station is about $0.10 higher than most. I guess we pay a premium for location here. Oh, wait, it's close to Fashion Island, those ladies shopping need to have enough gas to get home at some point. ;) Clean pumps, TVs at the pumps as well is cool only if you're filling up. If not they distract you and you put more in than you should. lol The inside is your typical over stocked and crowded mini-store. Take your chances people on the food in there. read more
