I thought they could use a little support.  I know, I'm sure Tawnya would stamp her foot up and down (like a petulant child) and shout that she's not a racist but given her indignation about having to sort cans while a man with "awful English skills" watched I would suggest that she "doth protest too much."   After skimming through her abysmal writing I'm inclined to describe her review as ironic but I'm fairly certain she wouldn't know what that means. Don't worry Tawnya, read slow and sound the big words out aloud.  Maybe you'll get it sometime--although I doubt it.

Now the service is absolutely horrible and they do not even help you pump your gas . They make you wait for a very long time or see if you can pump it yourself when it is not self service . I really wish that they would train their new employees better but they have different people in there every week . Avoid this business if you can plus they close at like 7:00 p.m. when it is still a few hours from dark in the summertime. It was on the smaller side of Safeway stores, but clean and organized throughout. We stopped here on Sunday afternoon, St. Patrick's Day to get a sweet treat. The bakery section was underwhelming to say the least. They only had 3 or 4 containers of sugar cookies with key lime icing, one container of pistachio pound cake slices, and one decent looking slice of a layered cake with the holiday theme and I was interested in the latter, BUT the top wasn't shut and securely sealed to the bottom. So yeah, no one wants that. The only employee present in the store eventually showed up to the only lit register for us to purchase what we settled for, which was a small container of assorted cookies and a pint of ice cream. On the plus side, the Safeway gentleman was a decent fellow and friendly enough.

We stumbled upon this place and thankfully they had some playing cards! This really got us through our cabin fever in our hotel. They also had a large variety of alcohol, snacks, and ice cream that carried us through our late night shenanigans. If you're in Lincoln City and need something late at night, this is the place to go to for all your needs! This one has a weathered road-side sign outside and a plain exterior in a fairly empty strip mall. When we were in town recently and staying at the nearby WorldMark, it was easy to walk here and pick up some "supplies". Once inside, I found the selection of the hard stuff is impressive, while the wine selection was more limited. Their mostly Oregon Craft Beer is only available by the single can or bottle, and is a bit too heavy on the IPAs. The folks behind the counter were friendly and helpful.
