A small place that delivers big flavors. This is an unassuming spot that is basically located on the side of the toad. You ordet at the counter and there is seating outside at picnic tables. The food is fantastic. We went with combo #1 which was fried cod, fried shrimp, and fries. I don't know how they batter and fry but everything was increibly crunchy but didn't feel a bit oily. Fries were seasoned perfectly. The tartar sauce put everything over the top. Next up was the clam chowder. Excellent taste, very creamy, and soothing. Only downside is thr lack of clams or even potatoes. I think my bowl had maybe one or two of each. Overall, I would go again. read more

A bit expensive, but everything here seems to be expensive. Nice place to stop for clam chowder, fish and chips, and seafood sandwiches. I ordered the basket of fish and chips with shrimp for about $30. I also tried their clam chowder. We all enjoyed everything. Not as much protein as I wished, but sufficient. The clam chowder was thiiiick and hardy. The fries stole the spotlight. Plenty of tables outdoors. It's not covered, but the weather seemed perfect for lunch. You order at the counter, pick it up yourself, and clean up yourself. My personal preference for these scenarios are to not tip during the last payment screen. You do you though! Plenty of parking on the side of the building on the grass and gravel lot. Next door is the brewery and has a nice view of the bay. The TV usually plays Jaws and SpongeBob. Pretty funny. Tried the crab roll. Paid $30. I get that things in general is expensive around here. But honestly it's a roll with the least amount of crab. The rolls are two separate pieces of thin bread ( think pizza thin). And because it's separate, crab meat falls out easily. Not much flavor either. Good fries though. Picked up some crab meat to take home and made one of our favorites. Crab stuffed, bacon wrapped filet mignon, with hollandaise sauce and extra crab meat on top. Served with twice baked potato and fried corn. The bulk crab at Crabby Daddy's was wonderful. It is expensive, but I understand the labor it takes to provide it; AND would you want anything sub-standard when serving filet mignon? read more

We paid $30 for a crab roll with a very small amount of crab and a roll that was about the size of a hot dog, the clam chowder was Luke warm and I could hardly find any clams (no potatoes). The fries were very hot and very good. So disappointed because I thought I would get some good clam chowder from this small market and I was craving clam chowder. The market price for crab meat was $21.00. I wish I would have bought the crab meat and made the roll myself. Maybe the cook was new. I felt cheated don't expect too much from this place. Crab roll to order?! Sign me up! $30 may sound like a lot but is probably on par with a lobster roll these days. I love a good crab dish and the crab roll didn't disappoint. The bun is overflowing with lump crab meat delicately seasoned. I opted for a side of butter which I dump all over the meat. So good. Service was friendly and timely. Ordering at the counter and then eating outside great on this warm day. The only dings against Crabby Daddy's is that I got a couple shells in my crab roll and the roll itself I feel like should be a little better. I'd opt for a perfectly grilled brioche bun or similar and a little less meat if the bun cost more. These are nitpicking points though, as any crab lover knows bits of shell come with the territory, although can be avoided with a lot of dedication. Overall would I eat here again? Most certainly, as crab roll is scarce and Dungeness crab meat not cooked so perfectly as they do at Crabby Daddy's. Highly recommended. read more

Husband and I split the ling cod and a bowl of chowder. Ling cod was amazing and cooked to perfection. Fish was very flaky and the batter was super thin and delicious. The chowder though was probably some of the weirdest, thickest chowders I've ever had. Very odd and almost had a cheese (?) flavor and thickness to it. Did not care for this at all and didn't notice very many clams in it either. Would definitely go back for the ling cod though. read more

This visit was so disappointing. I had such high hopes too for this place. Every time I pass the brewery next door I mutter "their food is so overpriced" so being literally next door is a chance to buck that trend. The fries were good. They are those ale battered ones that can take a dish a long way. Solid choice of fry. The fish was massively disappointing. I got the halibut. There were two pieces but they were wafer thin hence super dry. With the price tag on it. Simply laughable. We got a catch of the day which was black cod. Three tiny cubes of fish. You don't see black cod as fish and chips very often and I think I see why. The texture is just off. I like the thin coating. It's got a good setup for presenting a good piece of fish but alas. Omg, the crab melt.... Seriously so good. The #7 (halibut & shrimp) also delicious, the halibut was fresh & flaky & melted in my mouth. Fresh oyster shooters & clam chowder also some of the best on the Oregon coast. Definitely a must try when you are in the Lincoln City area. No pictures of the food, as we devoured it. I post on Yelp a lot and this one of the times I wish they have more than a 5 star rating. Crabby Daddy's deserves at least a 9 or 10. They are absolutely the best place we've eaten at in a long time. Their batter or better yet lack of conventional batter is outstanding. Seasoning is perfect on their oysters, shrimp and even their fries. Service is outstanding and on a nice day great to sit outside. The only draw back is there is no inside seating but deal with it. We wanted to find a simple place that we could just order at the counter and sit outside, even though it had been raining a bit. We found this place on yelp, though the directions took us to a place about a mile away. We double checked with the owner and the address is correct. They were out of Lynn cod so we had the rock cod for our fish and chips. Very tasty and the french fries were very hot and crunchy. We really enjoyed the condiments of tartar sauce, fried sauce, and ketchup. The clam chowder was quite tasty and had butter on top that we mixed in. Very rich and delicious. The restroom was clean. Wish we had room for ice cream, but will have to save that for next time. The service was very friendly and quick. read more

Went back and it was just as amazing. So important to have good seafood around and this does the job! Every time I go I get constantly served tasty food and in a timely manner. Absolutely awful. So incredibly disappointed. Clam chowder bowl is about 12 oz. Might as well grab a can off the shelf at your local market. Crab melt. This was the worst crab melt ever. It was on a generic wonder white bread. Smothered in a crappy cheese that brought me back to the days when government cheese and peanut butter were handed out as survival staples. The spread was not palatable. We ended up dumping everything but the crab, and unfortunately it was full of shells to pick through. I love supporting local. Had a great vibe like a small-town local fish market with a kitchen on the side. We had the scallops, halibut & chips and clam chowder with Dungeness crab added in. It took about 15 minutes for our food to be ready. We sat on the edge of the bay where we were able to watch the sun set. read more

Went on vacation so trying out some new places. GPS was off so it was kinda hard to find for a minute. Finally found it and wow was it worth it! Probably the best halibut fish and chips I've ever had! Cooked perfectly and tasted amazing! Lightly breaded so it didn't overpower the fish. The fries were also lightly breaded and fried with seasoning as well. I usually don't like fries, but definitely ate those as well. Amazing service! I believe it's a mother/son duo, both extremely friendly and welcoming with us and our huskies! Cute little shack with picnic tables to sit and dine outside! The smell is AMAZING which that is FREE!!! The food was everything I expected. The fries and seasoning were nothing like I had tasted before and don't forget your dessert with AWESOME flavor's!!! We have watched this location for over a year anticipating a new seafood stop. they opened recently, so I decided to was time. First the good, I had a crab cocktail and the crab tasted fresh and sweet. It was a somewhat small portion for $18, but we are on the coast in a tourist area. You kind of get used to that when you live here. I also ordered a combo shrimp and halibut plate. The light breading was welcome, but both items were, unfortunately, very overcooked. Halibut fish and chips should be large pieces, tender and moist. This order had 3 large cubes of fish and three shrimp. The shrimp were also overcooked making them hard and dry. At a total price of $44 this was an expensive lunch for one. read more
