This is your standard QT location, the only thing different for me is the people and service. For the most part you get friendly and helpful folks at the register, however the folks that work the QT Kitchen can't be described as such. Speaking of the QT Kitchen, don't sleep on their iced coffees! Overall, QT is always my go-to gas station. This is QuikTrip store #572 and it's located just off I-575 exit 4 (SR 205 (Bells Ferry Road) -…read moreMarietta, Kennesaw) in Kennesaw. This is an older QT, but it still gets the job done. I stopped at this QT to fill up on my way to Woodstock. The gas station has 14 pumps arranged in a single row. The pumps are an older model with backlit orange displays. These aren't as nice or as easy to read as the pumps at newer QTs, but they're good enough. The gas prices were competitive. Note: There's no diesel or ethanol-free gas at this location. As is standard at most QTs, the filling area was clean, spacious, and brightly lit. The convenience store is one of the older, smaller designs, but it's been retrofitted with QT Kitchens. There's a newer, bigger RaceTrac across the street which opened in 2014. Competition is good. I'll probably check it out next time I'm in the area to compare. In the end, while this QT isn't as big or as nice as the newer QTs that have popped up around town, it's still just as functional.

The CK of today are bright and clean with surprisingly good coffee, friendly clerks and clean bathrooms. This CK is off of Chastain, George Busbee by Kennesaw State and Townpark Way. If you take Townpark Way you will circle (get it? Circle K and circle...) around to the back of the retail shops such as Dunkin Donuts, Chipote, Capriotti, Panda Express and Tropical Smoothie cafe. Town Park Way dead ends onto Town Park Lane which takes you to another shopping center with Chick Fit A, Panera Bread, Embassy Suites and Ruth Chris Steak House. Town Park Lane takes you back on George Busbee and or Chastain so either way you're going to be fine. This Circle K is connected to a Chevron station.....

This QT, store #775, is located on Barrett Parkway in north Marietta, Cobb County. It's located just off I-575 exit 1 next door to Cheeseburger Bobby's. This is a fairly large station (not as big as the newest QTs or the ones in South Carolina though) with 20 pumps. I used pump #2 and it was in good working condition including the keypad (Robin S). This QT, like many other locations, is located at an intersection with a light, so it's safe and easy to turn back out onto the street when you leave. In conclusion, I think this is a good gas station.

So let's get the introductory stuff out of the way: this Walgreens is located at the corner of Roswell Rd (Marietta part) GA-120 and East Piedmont Rd. They're one of the only Walgreens in the 30062 zip code, and snooty East Cobbers tend to not like "crossing the tracks" AKA dare cross into 30066 despite the fact that there are several other, probably better Walgreens within 5-6 miles away. Their parking lot is a war zone where choosing to park right in front of the Walgreens puts your car and your life at danger, because of the Karens and Beckys hauling (rear) out of the neighboring Starbucks drive thru in their Lexus SUVs to leave, and incoming traffic tends to ignore the marks on the asphalt and tend to drive over the handicapped spaces and wheelchair access because it's easier for them. Inside, if you've been in one Walgreens, you've been to all of them, and this one is no exception in that it's kept very clean, and in all fairness, the people that work outside of the pharmacy are polite and friendly enough, but it's not often that I'm going to a Walgreens for anything other than a prescription, unless there's some free photos I redeemed from slickdeals to pick up. But let's talk about the pharmacy: I don't think there's ever been an instance where I've gone to this specific pharmacy, and actually gotten in and out the door without some sort of screw up or aggravation. Have three prescriptions? You'll only get two. Have one prescription? You'll get a partial and be told to come back for the other half on Monday. Doctor prescribe you an antibiotic? The pharmacy will say they weren't contacted by your clinic, and you'll leave empty handed. Without fail, this Walgreens' pharmacy will always leave you feeling pissed off and/or disappointed. Typically, I tend to not bother reviewing big businesses, but this has gone on past long enough to where I feel like people should be warned before deciding to make this their primary pharmacy. I certainly know that I have numerous other options nearby that I can switch to, and will switch to after the latest disappointment. If you want 2/$3 Cokes or discounted generic over-the-counter drugs with your Walgreens card, this Walgreens is perfectly adequate for your needs. But if you need anything from a pharmacy, I highly recommend you seek to take your pharmaceutical needs elsewhere.

The younger black gentleman and younger petite black woman are both phenomenal. They both are not only competent but also understand that they work in customer-facing roles. Accordingly, they are professional -- which includes being kind and respectful to the customer. However, there's another young black woman (on the heavier side) with the nastiest attitude. Some advice for her: when you tell the customer that you're not going to give them their Rx for whatever reason, they're going to be frustrated. Compounding their frustration? Your attitude. When your colleagues communicate a delay or issue, it never bourgeons into conflict -- can you guess why? Because they are professionals, and they act like it. This means being kind and respectful even in -- especially in -- the face of a frustrated customer. One more tip: When a customer shows up, greet them? I assume a smile is asking way too much, but certainly don't sit there scowling (in silence, no less!). Like the customer is a nuisance and a bother, showing up and expecting you to do your job. The audacity. Acknowledge the customer and let them know you're ready to assist them. If this is too much for you, get another job. Sincerely. You are unfit for a customer-facing role.

This is the worst Racetrac location in the area by far. This is not about simply one experience,…read moreit's about multiple. First issue - they do not keep the hot food stocked and fresh. Being that I work and drive around, I have to stop and eat quickly. When I walk in and the food is either empty or not fresh, I am walking out. The other locations in the area don't have this issue constantly. Second issue - this store needs to either get more employees or add self checkout as many of the other locations have. On my visit the other day (where I didn't walk out), there was one cashier (who appeared and behaved as if he was using methamphetamines)and the line was backed up well past the shelves with one customer buying tobacco and lottery tickets. Do better. I'm done with this location.
