I had a down right dangerous experience there today and will be contacting local government to report Eric. I have Crohn's disease and needed the bathroom quickly- we pulled into Chevron, and I asked to please have the key. Eric was aggressive and intimidating and told me no. I said I have a bowel disease and was going to have an accident and please could he let me- he said I was trespassing and to leave immediately. I took out a medical card I have saying I have Crohn's disease and I can have access to bathrooms as needed. Then he said we needed to pump gas first- no problem- I was begging my husband to just pump some gas. I was almost in tears and told Eric we'd pay him whatever he wanted and to please just open the bathroom for me. He was yelling at me taking several minutes and FINALLY opened the door when I was writhing in pain. I came out and said I'm reporting him and he HID under his desk!! I have a picture of him hiding like a guilty child, until we drove away. I was also wearing my Jewish star. I need the owner to contact me right away, please. I have been taking my 2006 LS430, 2022 NX 350, 2005 LS430, and 2006 Honda Accord for the past 5 years for maintenance and repairs. They are knowledgable and are quick to tell me if something can't be repaired at the shop. Eric is very responsive and the owners are thoughtful with suggestive repairs. read more

Convenient, honest service for over 15 years. Several times, we've been in a bind with a flat tire or other issue and Eric has always come through for us. Sure, it's more expensive gas. This Chevron is in Medina (have you seen the land prices?) I won't say I always fill up here, but I appreciate the convenience of having gas nearby when I'm in a hurry and need gas. pulled in to get my tire changed and he kept me waiting in my vehicle never even told me that he did not want to change the tire. It was raining he went to go hide inside do not go here anywhere els is okay but not here He'll probably be good at pumping gas cause that's all he knows how to do the gentleman does not know how to change a tire so sad i would have pay him$100 just not to get out in the rain The owner really needs to look into this. you really need to get some better staff working there. read more

The 5 star reviews here are fake. I have NEVER had a good experience here. The owner and employees are very rude. There have been multiple times when I'll be putting in gas in my car and I'll watch an employee yelling at a customer or trying to get in a fight with someone. They are adult bullies. Even though I live in the area and pass this gas station almost every day, I will drive the extra miles to get gas somewhere else to support businesses that respect their customers. Such rude service!! My family has been going here since the 60s and they have gone downhill. Always rude and snotty toward me. Plus, their gas prices have to be the highest in the state. Often they are a dollar or at least $0.50 more expensive than other stations. Stay away!!! read more

This guy who owns this place is so rude! Even though we live in the neighborhood and buy gas there he yelled at us that we couldn't use air unless we bought gas at the same time. He also yelled at my daughter when she brought a gas buddy to fill for the boat because he didn't see her jump out and start filling immediately--he told her she couldnt "pull over and text" which she wasnt doing!! No one else was even around so she wasnt blocking anyone. He is a jerk and his gas prices are so high. Skip it and go elsewhere!! read more

After doing business at Medina Chevron for over 25 years, I thought our patronage was valued. My wife was denied air and help from the owner this cold morning (25 deg F) to check a less than fully inflated front tire. He cited that she needed to make a purchase ! Sadly her tank was full and she had no need to buy any products. All she wanted to do was check and fill a tire. This is the worst service and most blatant example of customer disrespect that our family has ever experienced anywhere - any business, any time ! read more

The brakes were making a squeaking/grinding noise. Eric took a look at the car and gave us a reasonable quote for brake service and repair. We dropped the car the next day and had it ready by evening. The entire experience was flawless and I would highly recommend them. We are also going back for additional work back to Eric and look forward to getting all our service and repair work done here. read more

I don't believe for a second the 5 star reviews are real. I just got screamed at by a guy named Eric at this gas station. He said I parked in the wrong spot. I immediately said I would Move my car. He never stopped screaming at me while I was putting my toddler back in. By the end my toddler and baby were crying. We come here a couple times a week to let my older kids get candy after school. We have patronized the Medina Chevron service station for over thirty years now (including the last nine years since we moved from Medina to a new residence about 30 miles away). Over those many years we've taken several different vehicles in for servicing there - some brand-new, but others that were well-used with high mileage, and that were kept running efficiently and road-safe by the expert and conscientious maintenance and repair services we always receive from Medina Chevron. We have also purchased lots of automotive parts there, too, from sets of tires and new batteries to replacement engine parts, and simple items like wiper blades and automotive fluids and routine oil changes. We are especially fond of our decades-long relationship with Eric Hokanson, who is an amazing, outstanding mechanic, and who provides indispensable advice on how to keep our vehicles operating properly. His many thoughtful courtesies to us when we've called in a panic about a broken-down car or truck have saved us much stress and worry as well as expense on many occasions. And, he has always been very gracious and kind to our many dogs who regularly visit the station in our ancient Toyota van known as the "Dogmobile"! Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have been coming here for more than 10 years. I stopped to fill a tire and was asked to leave because I wasn't making a purchase that day! Talked to manager and he apologized..... Kinda. You shouldn't make your long time loyal customers feel like never coming back! Can I give ten stars? No, only 5? The service and quality of work at Medina Chevron is exceptional. My tire exploded on 520 eastbound yesterday and I was barely able to make it to this shop but I am so glad that I did. I was worried that since the location is in Medina that the prices would be especially high but I was highly impressed by the value. The work was completed within hours and this location is open until 10 PM which is incredible. Thank you so much Eric for getting me back on the road! This Place is always reliable. The service and staff are very nice. The staff make it very nice and prices are low. It is small but they have a wide variety of snacks, drinks. Even have burgers, hot dogs, etc. that can be heated in a microwave there. read more
